Waited for awhile without being helped by the new employees behind the counter. I had to wash the windows and mirrors and the truck after picking it up as the level of dirt on them made it difficult to see. I am also not sure I was ever given the right number of furniture pads from the start. Overall customer service experience at this location was not great.Joseph M.
I made sure that vehicle is full gas and returned so unlike other times we don't have an argument over gas but again they billed me 20 $for gas while I had got the truck with lower gas level then full... I'll sure go there and follow up with them.... this is ridiculousMEHRDAD M.

Bad service. The crew on duty when I picked up the truck were great. When I returned the truck the employee that took the keys did everything possible to charge a cleaning fee. His argument " You hosed down the interior of the truck. You only had to sweep it " and " there is dust on the floor of the driver side " I also had to correct him on the one hour leeway for returns when I offered to take back the truck and clean the dust. H wanted to charge the and extra hour. Also the customer service skills of the guy in charge at that moment was very unprofessional . I was charged a 200 $cleaning fee.EDWIN E.

Was told they didn't have my truck. Untrained and confused staff. Finally got a truck that was deadlined due to minor body dam age. Badly bug spattered windshield and only 1/4 tank of gas. Will never go to this location again!!!!RODERICK S.
I booked online, and had never used the mobile way of booking a U-Haul before. I followed all the steps that the app told me too, I got to the part where it told me â€œto skip the line and go up front and get the keysâ€ I did that. I was told to go to the spot where the mobile pick up was on the other side of the counter. I did and was waiting there not knowing what was going on. Some U-Haul employee not sure of the name appeared to have identified as a male. Kept telling my spouse and I to go to where the sign was. We were standing right in front of the sign and he kept pointing to the sign, like we couldn't read. Almost like we had a disorder. Which is rude. He did this about 3 times . Then he finally said someone will get you the keys, then he finally asked to see my phone and got the keys himself. My question is why couldn't that have been done in the first place? Versus trying to belittle us, and waste everyone's time ? The outcome was still the same. Moving forward I don't think I'll use the mobile electronic way to reserve U-Hauls, I'll just stick to the in person way instead. Less headache, confusion, and hard feelings. I'll probably also use a different location as well.Cody O.
I choose 14$ insurance, but they charge me 28$. The rent rate is 19.95, but it charges me 39.90. The rate is 19,95/day isn't it? I just return late for 30minutes and it charges me another day cost?CHENGBIN X.

Even though I was angry and there were misunderstandings with things that the pick up office didn't do, the person helping to fix the gas discrepancy and tried to figure out the discount issue, was supper nice and helpful as much as possible. The discount issue was not resolved, so I called customer service (which I had done previously more than once) and they said that my reservation was split in, so that the discount was the cost of the trailer that that would be reflected on my account. I didn't get anything back. I called again on Monday 11/15/2021, did a report that was sent to a manager and I sill haven't heard from anyone. I will be calling again and again until they fix this.EVA O.

I drive miles out of my way to rent trailers from the Auto Mall U-Haul location due to the exceptional service I always receive. The manager of this location is solid and I always appreciate how quickly I can pick up and drop off rentals. I'll be back again. No sense in renting elsewhere even if it's closer. Did not have all the equipment for my reservation. I ordered a mattress cover at the time of reservation, paid for it online, and had to pay a second time in person because no one was able to locate a record of the purchase, even though I had email confirmation on hand. My reservation was scheduled for a 9am pick up but was not able to leave the location until 10am. With regards to all of the points made above, I'm not sure what the point of making a reservation is if you have to remind staff of everything you need, wait for those things to be collected for you (and apparently not even being able to provide everything you reserved), and being charged multiple times for items purchased online with the reservation.DAVID A.

Call center told me there was plenty of pickup trucks available. When I arrived at the store less than 30 minutes later I was told none were available in the entire city. Had to rent a cargo van instead that was covered in tire rub and not cleaned before the rentalCHRISTOPHER N.

Improve the platform. There are issues with the platform but apparently U-Haul doesn't care about improving the user experience. The people on the ground are doing amazing. Please make sure the rest is getting addressed.Miles E.

Saturday mornings are TOUGH at a U Haul because that's when EVERYONE wants to rent something, but even though he had someone call in sick and he was short staffed, he was efficient and polite to every customer! There was some waiting, but only 2 people working. The truck had 140,000+ miles and the shifter didn't always want to go in drive, but in the end it did everything I asked of it. The people were courteous there, and that put a positive on it.ROBIN M.

Don't set the odometer in kilometer so you can over charge people on miles. That bill went unpaid so when I went to rent again I had to pay that too. Never again Uhaul.CEANNE A.

we rented the truck 8 in the morning, we move a twin bedroom., and 2 hours later we return the truck, we put gasoline as a gift because we did not drive more than 10 miles. We paid 64 $and i was in shock. This was very expensive, we just move a twin bedroom from one apt complex to another. No more Uhauls in my life. MariaJORGE C.

The general manager (Hal) had a cocky, I don't care attitude. Like he was on power trip. When I asked him if they had a dumpster for the tenants to use, he said yes. But it'll cost ya 15 $. All I had were 2 boxes (that were torn-down/flattened), plus 1 (15 gallon) bag of garbage. For 15 $?? He told me if I didn't want to pay, I could dump it next store (in their dumpster). I thought, Wow, that ain't right!? Now, this is after I just spent 1 400 $on a 15' truck (plus another 450 $in gas) to move across country. Only to find out when I arrived that all my stuff, at the back 5' of the truck...was all wet on the bottom. By the way...he acknowledged that. It's just the principal of the whole thing. But I have to keep telling myself, that most people DONT CARE ABOUT PRINCIPALS. All they care about...US MONEY.Michael G. | Premières impressions
