The instructions on where to pick up my truck were wrong. Instead of the truck being in the back it was on the side and blocked in. An associate had to move the truck in front of me so I could get out. When I returned the truck that evening I had a very hard time finding the drop off box for the key. When I finally found where it was there was no box so I dropped the key through the hole in the window and the key was hopefully found on the floor. Also, the mobile pickup option was way more confusing and took much longer than if I had just gone inside to begin with.

The company I work for uses you all a lot. Good service sometimes. Sometimes not. Employees have personal conversations without acknowledging me standing right in front of them. I’ve seen the talking go on for minutes before someone says something to me. Then some act like I ‘m bothering them. A simple “I’ll be with you in a minute” would be nice. Basic customer service isn’t that hard.

There needs to be a clear sign on the door helping direct people in this time where we can’t go inside the building. All I needed was keys, as I remotely checked in, and they asked everyone to stand outside and wait. I waited 50 minutes, and was told, “oh, you just had to hold your phone up to the door.” They also locked my car into a gated area before I returned my rental. Someone saw my car, helped me back out, and didn’t bother to mention that the gate would close and lock at 5. Very frustrating. 2 sentences would have made this whole thing 100% easier. Communication is key in a time like this.

The service at this location was terrible. Five employees were all taking care of 1 person at the same time. When one asked to attend (me) the employee said no, and brushed it off as if we were not talking to them! I will never go here again!

What a crew...three men helped get our vehicle unchained and the unhitched...after inspection, we were out in less than 10 minutes. We originally were scheduled to return at 331 Oak st. The mgr/owner refused to unhook the vehcile from the trolly and said it wasn't his job. Wow! We just left. What an angry man.

Well everything was fine until tonight. I found that I was double charged again for two days of use. I made reservations on Friday 03-06-20 for Saturday a.m. 03-07-20. Everything was great and I brought the trailer back with in 5 hours, Charged $66.00 + including insurance. Paid by debit card! Brought back and the attendee said everything was good. He took a picture. Then on Monday I get charged for an additional $133.00+. I call UHaul in Louisville and complained. Lady said sorry for the mistake and would send in a request for my extra two day charge.

Due to a HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I will NEVER choose U-Haul ever again I asked for a credit due to the following circumstances: I DROVE TRUCK TO LOCATION WHERE I HAD INTENDED TO PICK UP FURNITURE WHEN I ARRIVED 20 miles ACROSS TOWN I WAS NOTIFIED THAT MY MOVER GAD TO CANCEL HELPING I PROMPTLY RETURNED UHAUL TRUCK TO FRANCHISE UNUSED WITHIN 1.5 hr I WAS RUDELY NOTIFIED THAT I COULD NOT RECEIVE A CREDIT FOR FURURE RENTAL IN SPITE OF MY PAYMENT MADE & GAS FILL UP THIS MERCHANT 4445000022517 4128 BARDSTOWN RD, LOUISVILLE KY 40218 WAS NOT ONLY RUDE-UNYIELDING & DELIVERED POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I WILL NEVER BE A UHAUL CUSTOMER AGAIN THIS FRANCHISE WILL RUIN THE COMPANY’S GOOD REPUTATION. When I came to return my rental there were 2 men in the store eating. Neither of which would take my cash and said I had to wait for another man. I stood in that store for 15 minutes listening to these 2 men talk about food. It wasnt until another family came in to rent some equipment that they helped her. I was still standing there waiting and waiting. So I left.

There should be a better process for unreturned equipment. I returned on time and was not notified that the return process was not completed until after the trailer was reported stolen. I had to ask the location to check the cameras to confirm the return was made.

I would never recommend the location. I picked up the vehicle on Thursday, and a drop off location and everything. The next day I receive a text message saying the drop off location has changed. I had to drive 30 minutes away instead of 5 minutes on top of not having unlimited miles. I waited outside for 30 minutes with no one to come outside just to find employees hanging out not paying attention. The sign states “please wait here in your rental” so I waited and waited. I paid nearly $1500 for inconsiderate staff and terrible service. Very upsetting.

This truck bed was leaking water during the travel when it rained throughout transport through 71s. Windshield wiper was damaged and bit inspected. Fix leakage before renting out to next customer. Was not worth worth waiting around to file claim as only lost paper documents in boxes. Service rep (female) was very ride at the KY location...

I was told gas was at 1/4 tank. It was almost on empty and I almost ran out of gas sitting in traffic. I still put the gas level at 1/4 tank even though it wasn't there when I got it.

My truck was fine, but I ordered a furniture dolly. The dolly I had was missing rubber protecting strips and while i was unloading my brand new, $5000 range, the wheel came off the dolly causing a shift and damaging my new stove. It was an absolute nightmare and could have been easily avoided with maintaining the equipment.

This is the second time I have dealt with this location. The first time was a few years ago, and the same ill mannered people were there this time. There was one guy, the one who checked me back in when I brought the truck back, that was awesome. The one who looks like Usher. Sorry I cannot remember his name The rest of the people there did not care about customers at all. The guy at the front counter treated an older man pretty crappy, and tried to scare him into buying their insurance. They were watching a movie while taking care of customers. Very unprofessional. Again, I would like to state that the gentleman who finished my transaction was wonderful, and acted like he actually cared about his job. On an unrelated note, the dolly that I rented from them was in pieces in the back of the truck. I didnt notice until I got to the moving site. I called customer service, and they had me drive back to the store to pick up another one. Not a huge deal, were it not for the fact that it turned what could have been a 1 day move, into a 2 day move. I paid for the gas for going back and forth so many times, the mileage, and the use of the truck for 2 days. Overall, I give this experience 2 stars. It would have been 1 star, were it not for the guy who checked my truck back in at the end.

I have absolutely no complaints with how we were helped this weekend. The staff was so helpful and happy, and even connected the trailer to our car because we were two young women and were completely lost where to start! The only thing I would suggest is maybe having more than one person working the desk on a busy Saturday morning! We were helped very quickly, however, the employee was working extremely hard and I think having another employee at the desk would have helped them out, and in turn helped the line go a bit longer. BUT like I said we were helped quickly and the employee was so helpful and happy, just considering for employees sake! Thank you all for being so awesome!

This is the second time that I've used 24-hr pickup and the second time it didn't work correctly. Not in a minor way, but wait an hour until the location opened way. Both times customer service was extremely unhelpful and second time that the rental location already had the required information. It'll be a cold day in hell before I used Uhaul again.

The truck was badly damaged, the exterior was not clean. The truck lost power four times, twice on the highway. The truck should not have been rented out. The experience so bad I returned the truck a day and half early because I did not feel safe using it. I will not be renting from you haul again for a while.

Asked for furniture pads, they weren’t included in the truck. I just now got my bill and not only did I get charged for 12 Furniture pads, but also got charged because they said 6 were missing when I returned it. It’s only 10 dollars so I don’t really care, but I think that’s poor customer service and a bad way to conduct business

I rented an appliance dolly with the truck and it was not in the best of shape. On one side it was missing the frame protective cover. The one that was on dolly on the other side was destroyed. I guess it is partially my fault since I did not personally inspect it.

The only reason I did not give an excellent rating was an employing told me I had to close out my storage rooms in person, which was difficult due to this storage rental being for an out of town move.
