This site is SEVERELY understaffed. I don't know how they even continue to operate. The line was ~1 hour mins long and that only served about 6 people. There were only two employees (front counter, checking in equipment, checking out equipment, managing reservation issues, propane tanks, etc). Will avoid if at all possible.Daryl W.

We were two people in the ligne waiting and staff he was on the phone texting like 15 minutes and he never said anything to us after he stand up and started talking his co-work about food he ate last night and I can hear him talkingâ€ macaroni cheese mixed with something ... â€œ listen this guy he is not professional no even close, I waited like 45 minutes waiting for receipt until I told them to send receipt to my email because I was not able to waiting longer, First all the locations the give me to drop truck and equipment they refused to accept and they sent me a another location and second location they did the same they sent me to 3th location 35 minutes from location where I suppose to drop truck and equipment. I was not happy for that I think next time I will just drop them and leave.GEDEON N.

The entire process, was the most horrific experience I've ever had in a business. From the get go. I made a reservation at a location right by my house, (which was time sensitive because I was picking up furniture) and then had to go to the bardstown road location because the other location did not have my truck. Once I got to that location, I waited in line for an hour and a half. There was someone who was tweaking on drugs walking around and yelling and making a scene the entire time. It was extremely uncomfortable and management did nothing about it, the entire hour and a half I was in line. Once I did get the truck, I was very disappointed in how it drove. The steering wheel did not have much control, the transmission was so loud and working over time. The entire experience was horrific.KELSEY F.

The lines were extremely long. Took too long to check in/check out being at least an hour for both. They definitely need to streamline their check-in process. A lot of people were in line and mad about how long it was taking.MICHELE D.
Customer service and employee competence was horrible. I reserved a 26' truck weeks in advance. When I arrived I was told they didn't have any available and I may have to drive to Fort Knox- the next closest location- which is 30 miles away. They ended up giving me a 20' truck, due to that renter being late for their rental. Who knows what happened when they showed up. The man that walked me out to the truck was extremely rude. When I complained about the customer service here and how poorly operated the store was he stated â€œtell me about it, I've been here 3 years and it's badâ€. He also identified himself as a manager which blew my mind. He got in the truck, put it in reverse and floored it. He nearly ran over me and my son. When I confronted him about it he said â€œyou're not supposed to be in this part of the lotâ€. Not sure how I was supposed to know that, since he told me to follow him. When I returned the truck an employee told me where to park and that someone would be back there to check me in. After waiting 15 minutes and never seeing anyone in this area, I went back into the store and gave the keys to the employee at the counter. The rating of 1 star out of 5 is actually higher than I would prefer. For a company this large, I'm amazed this location is being operated this way.SEAN H.

When I arrived my moving supplies I pre paid for online hours ahead of time, boxes dolly, was not already prepared or in the vehicle. When I asked for it, they told me to grab some boxes from the front which was great, however I never got a dolly to use.Tasia L.

After making a reservation for a 20 ft truck when I got there they had no truck for me. after waiting 45 min a 10 ft truck was returned. The GM promised me a $50 credit because I would have to make multiple trips since it was a smaller truck and for my inconvenience. I was charged too much and no credit. Can't get a hold of the GM and uhaul customer service center been on hold for more than 20 min and then got transferred somewhere else and still on hold!!!! THIS IS A TERRIBLE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1Carol D.

The customer service was outstanding. Ross were very helpful, very friendly and patient. Truck was a bit dirty, had a cracked mirror but other than that worked perfectly.Micheal M.
It was just unclear what to do after checking in to pick up the truck. The gentleman said, "they're pulling the truck around to the second flagpole, just wait a minute." And popped out of the room. I didn't know if I was done checking in, to wait inside.. outside.. I wasn't given keys or other instructions. Someone pulled a truck around, but then said nothing to me, so I didn't know if it was mine bc there was also another lady, before me, waiting outside. So I just decided I guess I'll take it, but there weren't any keys inside.. took me almost 30 minutes from arrival to leave w the vehicle and it was on empty. So another stop. All in all wasted an hour of my rental time just receiving and filling up the truck. BUT.. better than the weird "neighborhood uhaul" locations around town that are hella sketchy and have no access to boxes or extra handcarts etc.LISA P.
The manager of the location was over worked b/c many of his staff quit on him that day. He was doing the best he could under the circumstances. He was very helpful and friendly. Tremmell was his name I believe. IMPROVEMENT: your phone system is terrible. Terrible phone customer service. Hard to get throuhg & get any answers to my questions on my bill. I was charged for a furniture dolly, but ended up not needing it and did not pick it up, but was charged anyway.RONALD B.

I have rented several times before and this was unusually chaotic. So many vehicles in yard that they couldn't get the van I rented out so gave me a different one but didn't change paperwork. It had wrong gas tank quantity, Windows so dirty I had to stop and wash them to see out back, and when I returned it only one person was working at desk but was out strapping on towed vehicle and 6 people in line waiting. Had to wait to return the vehicle because of wrong paperwork and then did not get the receipt that I was told would be emailed. Employees were all fine but seemed under staffed.Keith L.
