The representative at his location was friendly and courteous.
Timothy EI rented a small motorcycle trailer. As the U-Haul attendant was connecting the electrical plug to my vehicle, I noticed the wires were frayed and broken on the trailer side of the connection. The attendant looked at it and immediately said he should replace it. He promptly ran inside and brought out a replacement wiring harness which allowed proper electrical connection. The attendant did a good job and I was on my way without delay.

I downloaded the app and my reservation did not populate in the app. I scanned the QR code on the key drop box quite a few times, which said it would take me specifically to the page where I would confirm return. It did not take me to this page at all. This is a coordination issue on your end. The representative was not understanding of the situation and refused to return the $20.

WASEEM AI've had my storage unit for close to 10 years. I remember when U-Haul took over the facility. The unit/area/facility is always maintained well. April Maguire is pleasant and good at her job. The woman I recently signed the Abandonment Letter with was also very nice and helpful. I have always rented U-Haul Trucks from the location on Manchester in Ballwin, but will try the Big Bend location in the future. I do have to say that the monthly cost for the unit seemed to increase very quickly in recent years. The recent annual % increases seemed very high…more than 10 %. But again I've been pleased w the facility and service. Merci.

Frank HWe reserved the truck through the website. When we arrived at the location the process was quick, easy and the truck was ready to go. Although the small truck had a lot of miles on it, it was clean and drove great. Returning the truck was as simple as parking and giving the employee the key. All receipts were done through email which made the process very efficient. We have rented trucks here before and will continue to return.

Perry BMy average rating is a result of pricing. While the staff was great and the facility clean most of the time, the price is ridiculous. I was renting from U Haul for seven years since they took it over and before that it was owned by two other companies so I was a LONG time customer and always paid on time.... 2 price increases in one year was ridiculous. Therefore I would not recommend UHaul.... we downsized at another location because the smallest unit was too small and we knew the price would jump in no time.

Naoufel Fthe truck was very old and didn't run well. It made lots of extra noises and smells. The girl working at the counter was absolutely awful to deal with. She was slow and very rude, then when I asked her to please finish processing my rental she stopped and told me that I was being rude and she would cancel the rental if I said anything else. She had already cancelled the woman in line ahead of me for "being rude" and I needed the truck to move my Aunt so I just shut up and finished the process. BTW, the lady in front of me was not rude at all. Your clerk was looking for a fight. Over the last 6 years I have literally spent thousands of dollars with Uhaul moving kids back and forth to college and to first jobs out of state. I have never encountered such a rude clerk. She seemed to be looking for a reason to object, then immediately claim to be the victim.
Alan WThe truck was well used, over 125k miles, but it ran as expected and we got the job done. The cargo area was clean and the cab was clean. Would have like to have had a backup camera and backup warning signal, and maybe a better way to adjust the passenger side mirror. The office was orderly and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Julie GHonestly my only complaint really would be the gas level. I mean if you guys offer 50 bucks off your rental if you return your vehicle you know full tank all that I could guarantee you a bunch of people would return their vehicles with a full tank. Cuz it really sucks getting a U-Haul rental and there's no gas in it and you already had figured out how your whole day was going to go and it throws a big old wrench in your plan. This location has been excellent if I call them and ask them if there's a truck available with the side rails cuz they only have two vehicles like that they will hurry up and make sure one is ready to go for me if they have it there's an issue with not being able to get the center console down in the small pickup and they stopped exactly what they were doing and came out and helped me get it down and make sure it was working before I left take care of any problems I have as soon as I asked them. They really do make you feel kind of like part of the family when I'm there that's why I actually will go a little bit further to go to this location then literally 2 minutes down the road when I can get one there and not have to spend money on an Uber and everything to get there I'll send the extra because of the service

Rich S | Expérience généraleVehicle DC2755T is in IMMEDIATE need of repair! I used to drive professionally so I know an unsafe vehicle when I see one. The truck is a safety hazard. The side mirrors are loose, could not be tightened and would not stay adjusted. The steering is loose and it was very difficult to control the vehicle. I reported the situation and was told that Uhaul would rent it "until it dropped". I've always gotten very well maintained equipment in the past so this seems like a one-off. Please address the situation before someone gets hurt.

Christine COn multiple rentals, including this one, dealers are unable to provide furniture dollies. The store manager April did call multiple locations but could not find any. That said, she provided the best service I've had in many years of renting from U-Haul.

Every time i arrived big trucks would be parked right by the exit gate keypad blocking your access making it difficult to get to the keypad from your car and leave. It would be nice to pull up to it on the right side of the road like the way traffic goes so your not trying to reposition your vehicle on the way in or out when others are also entering and exiting the property.

I can't say one bad thing about them! They go above and beyond to make moving a less stressful experience! I will for sure be telling my friends and family to always go with UHaul as it's the only way for me to know that everything is going to be done correctly! PLUS, the hours are amazing! It takes away so much stress knowing that they will be open, so no insane rushing! You can get that hotel when driving gets to be too much! Life saving!

The only reason facility access hours were convenient to me was because I paid for them to be that way. I am very happy to be done with this particular facility.

The storage facility was amazing , we had both an interior smaller storage and a larger exterior storage to hold our household goods ( even our irreplaceable photos & negatives) between the two. We felt safe there after hours and at night when storing or removing items with the security system abs lighting set up! We highly recommend this place if you need to store your safekeeping items.

Eventually I got a unit. Only to finish and find out I needed a lock. She didn't state or mention it. Worst part I was in a domestic situation on the lot, cameras are there. No one intervened or called the police. I had to call the police! It was semi the worst experience ever!

ELMER P | Expérience généraleI booked online, and never actually had any contact with any employees at the facility, but the online checkin and checkout was very easy. The facility was very clean. My only complaint is the large road reflectors on the floor right inside the door to indicate where to park the carts. This makes it very hard to go in and out the doors with a loaded cart. Several times, a cart wheel hit a reflector and caused things to fall off the cart. A painted yellow line or tape on the floor would suffice and not cause any problems.

Uhall's trailer/truck rental equals free storage unit is unbeatable, and I can't think of a complaint (though the online reservation process can be frustrating, the actual workers are great all around). If you're moving, no one else can possibly compare. I really don't know how these people are making any money, but the consumer benefits, no doubt there. Thanks to Uhall's staff, from Springfield, IL to Ballwin, MO, for making a rough move all the more manageable.

My only issue was with the elevator. It closed almost immediately, and was constantly closing on me as I loaded stuff in on the carts.

The unit that I had reserved previously was not available I was given another unit that apparently was also not available but they had no awareness of that . The code that I was given did not work. And after finding out that the 2nd unit that I was supposedly going to get Was occupied I was told they had no other units available in that size. Even though I had gone in several weeks earlier asked for a specific size offered to put down a deposit and was told it was not necessary. A poorly managed facility and a disastrous experience.I will never do business with u haul again.

Salesperson said she could not resolve it with a little larger bin because the computer would not let her. He was sent away with nothing or no help. My experience everything worked but I did not like what happened to him. No solutions offered.

Rodger B | Expérience généraleI was not able to move into my unit (Thursday) because it still had the padlock on it. I didn't know that UHaul was locking units until people moved their stuff in. I had hired movers to help me move in. The access code did not work. It was after the store had closed. The only phone number I had was the store number. I had to call UHaul and was on hold for a VERY long time. I ended up spending over 2 hours and three minutes on the phone trying to deal with this matter. The next day I was able to call the general manager of the store. We worked out a resolution to put into action the next day. I was finally moved into my unit on Saturday.

When I arrived at the unit after renting online, the unit had a lock on it....I had to walk all the way to the officer, make contact with someone and have them remove the lock. They removed the lock before I got back, and I looked around for the FREE LOCK which was supposed to be inside the unit....IT WAS NOT, making me walk all the way back to the office for the 2nd time. If you're going to advertise no contact move in, and move in completely online....then HAVE THE UNIT OPEN AND READY!! LUCKILY the office was open, if it was closed and I was unable to get into my unit, I would have been late to return my truck at the location on Manchester. These two inconveniences COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE, but it was still an inconvenience! Got my steps in for the day tho, so yay for that!

Super clean and always well stocked with moving carts. No issues. Rented for about 2 years. Staff was always very helpful and professional. My only suggestion would be to make the trash dumpster easily accessible. I could not access it so I had to transport any trash I had back to my apartment to put in my trash can. Since I was slowly sorting items on site, it made a lot of trips I had to take. There is a donation room on site that if you have Items like furniture or books, etc that you don't want you can leave them there. You are also free to take whatever anyone else has left. Did get some spare boxes from this room! No hesitation in recommending this location for storage units or to rent trucks/buy supplies. They are very fair and honest.

Absolutely no assistance was given in attempts for identifying thieves including manager refusing to come to office during normal work hours, until county law enforcement made the request. I will never ever recommend this facility and actually went out of my way to use equipment from other locations to assist in my move out.

The key pads to all the doors were not working, so Jared immediately walked over to the building I was in and opened the main door, and apologized. When I needed to switch to a smaller unit, the paperwork was quickly accommodated. Over those three years, many of the staff who may have simply been parking or washing a truck took the moment to say hello. Another feature I really liked was the green room. I used it often as I consolidated to leave behind things for others to take.

Exiting is made difficult by the typical staging of trucks waiting to be rented, and the entry is weird due to layout that really isn't the fault of the staff. My biggest complaint is that on 75 % of my visits to my unit, there was non rented Uhaul equipment parked in front of my unit. This was even more aggrevating due to the fact that the unit directing across from mine sat empty the majority of my time renting this unit. When my needs changed, and I downsized units, I took my business to another company. While I never dealt with a rude employee, the little aggravations added up.

The facility itself is well lit, very, very clean, and has security cameras in just the right spots. NOT ONCE DID I SEE A BUG! I opted for a climate controlled unit and the temperature was steadily right around 80F. My unit was on the second floor and with the spacious elevator and the always available carts very convenient. I drive an outback and always had plenty of space driving up for loading or unloading my items. This storage facility is definitely well thought through when built and has many bonuses like the restroom accessible from outside the building and the donation room where you can find all kinds of things ( even boxes) or donate items that won't fit your style anymore. Excellent facility!
