These people are fantastic. I had some tech difficulties with my phone and could not upload the info required for my predawn pickup. Jared was kind and very knowledgeable and helped me to download the info remotely even though I woke him up at 4AM! He was cheerful and generous with his time and successfully got me on the road. Another team member actually came to the site an hour before his shift to be sure I got the key and was able to access the van. The van was clean and comfortable and well maintained. Returning it was a breeze. I cannot say enough about how wonderful their customer service is! Come to see them in Ballwin...you will not be disappointed!

The 19.95 price is a little deceiving. The mileage charges and fees make it unreasonable to rent again for a short distance. I needed the truck for an hour and went a total of 11 miles. The fuel indicator went from 3/8 to 1/4 the minute I drove away. I was charged $19.00+ for fuel, when I returned it at 1/4. Will never use again.

Quicker check in time. I came in on Tuesday to reserve the can and gave all my information, then when I came in on Saturday to pick up the truck, I had to give all the information again.

My rental truck was at a different location than the supplies i purchased, i had to travel from the u haul location to pick up the truck to another u haul location to get the supplies i had already paid for. It was about 3 or so med and large boxes and 2 flat screen boxes. The first location clearly had these items in stock. But the cashier was unable to find my order for the supplies. The second location even had trouble finding my order for the supplies. Ultimately everything had worked out, but the experience was inconvenient to say the least.

Equipment was not ready and waiting but they loaded dolly and furniture pads quickly. There was some misunderstanding with furniture pads as when I paid for them I thought it was purchase and not rental and I was never told that I had to return them with the truck in the end. This caused issues at drop off.

The entire process was so easy and seamless from from start to finish. Ladarius, had a very positive energy and was thorough from start to finish and Alexis was friendly and quick and offered upsells to our experience. They were professional and very accommodating and quick. U Haul is very lucky to have them on their team. We will absolutely use this location again as well as spread the word regarding our great experience.

First, make sure you tell the customer if there has been a change in their pickup location when you confirm the date/time. Second, be certain to have the equipment that has been committed for a rental. Next, make certain not to tell an already upset customer that their pickup location is a preference when they were not once notified of a new pickup location. Next, try not to make an operations problem your customer's problem. It's not my fault you can't find your truck, the keys, or manager your technology. Continuing on, you shouldn't tell a customer that you've solved the problem and just need to switch out the truck when you're actually "refunding" the charge only to have to charge the customer again. We're not done yet; when a customer has been in your office trying to secure a truck for 1.5 hours (after already being redirected to your store from the location they were supposed to have picked up their truck) and you finally find a truck to work, maybe offer a discount or comp the supplies they're buying. Don't give a thumbs up and tell me to have a great weekend. No, it took two hours to secure a truck that isn't the right size, you tied up $1700 of my money, and barely acknowledge this problem - and you're the owner! This was positively the worst experience I've ever had. A broken process, terrible service, lack of empathy, inability to solve operational issues and make me feel like it's my problem. Simply awful.

Starting mileage was entered incorrectly. Was charged for 136 miles when actual miles driven was less than 80. Will never use U-Haul again.
