I felt very unsafe in the vehicle I was driving. The steering wheel was not aligned and had to be cocked 45 degrees to the left to drive straight. I don't know if the power steering fluid was old or overfilled but the steering was very loose.

In conclusion, great place to rent what you need, and as a customer, don't give these working folks a hard time, it's tough doing public service-facing jobs, remember that!

Ben SIsrael was an amazing life saver. I was told by uhaul that I could return my trailer after hours and that is not the case. Israel was there after the shop closed and happened to see us outside. We stayed even later to assist us in the return even though they were closed. We are new to the area and it was late on a Sunday.

MICHAEL GI was surprised that a $20 after hours service fee was applied to my bill. The employee did not mention at all that I should follow the instructions on the website to return it after hours, only that I should park the truck on the street and drop the keys in the box. On the poster, instructions telling me to follow the website instructions were only in very small print. It felt like UHaul was trying to trick us into not following the website instructions so we could be charged an extra $20. Very frustrating.

Keshav BThe U-Haul pickup experience was fine. The drop off was a mess. Was given clear, written instructions to park the U-Haul anywhere along the street for after-hour drop off, and was assured that there would be parking. Sure enough, there was absolutely NO parking anywhere along the street when I came to drop it off. After driving up and down the street for 30 minutes I finally found a spot right by the entrance to the U-Haul - but it had a sign saying that due to construction the spot had to be vacated by 7am. The location opened at 7am, so I called their help hotline to get assurance that this wouldn't be an issue - I.e if the return time was 10:30pm, and the vehicle got a ticket/got towed AFTER they opened at 7am, i shouldn't be liable - right? The girl was not helpful in the least. She had conflicting instructions regarding where to park, knew nothing about the street parking instructions, and could not explain to me until what specific time I was responsible for the vehicle. Best she could do is tell me that if the vehicle was ticketed "before it was picked up by staff," I was liable. When would they pick it up? She didn't know. She had no ideas about where else I could park. I ended up driving around for another 30 minutes and finally snagging a spot a few blocks down. In all, the drop-off took 1,5 hours… it sucked.

Urvi PI had booked a storage space as the part of the promotion and had planned my apartment moving date accordingly. I got the confirmation for the storage space via email, and the U-haul team confirmed it with me on the phone as well. To my surprise, I got to the location and they refused to provide me space citing that they didn't have any available space initially, then they told me that they did have space but it was of a different size and I would have to pay separately!! No one was willing to accommodate me. I had to make another booking through customer service for U-box to complete my move.
KAMRAN II have to give a massive shoutout to Felix, he was incredible and found us a rental after our order was canceled. Felix is our hero and we can't rate him highly enough!

YURIY BThis location is a testament to good people and great service! We came here on a busy morning and Felix was great at getting us a vehicle and going above and beyond in explaining how to refuel it, insurance, and the return procedure. The return process was also smooth and quick, we were provided with the final receipt within 5 minutes of driving in with the truck! Truly, these guys work really hard to provide the customer with a good experience. This is my 3rd Uhaul this month (don't ask why) and I can say this for sure that none of the other UHaul location came close to their level of service and conduct. 10 on 10, would recommend this to anyone.

Scott MThe staff member who assisted us was rude. This is the second time we've been "helped" by him and he has been rude both times. He is short with customers and has an attitude. He maintains a "professional" dialogue but his tone and body language are condescending. Also, there were no dollies left when we got to the store at 10:30. We really needed one as my partner has a broken arm and can't help with lifting.
MADISON VThe drop-off location was quite frustrating. I managed to park in a small space available on the lot, but otherwise I would have had to pay for my own parking on the street. The app wasn't working when I was trying to upload photos of the vehicle for after hours drop off. It kept clearing the photos as the app is so unstable.
ANDREW KHad some confusion when returning the van, especially since it was close to the return time. Also, for some reason my reservation was originally until 4pm but got moved to 3pm when I went to pick up the van. But overall, the staff were helpful and the moving experience was good.
KYLE JThe team was efficient, but could use a little more time to listen to and answer customer questions. The truck I received had a right turn signal that wasn't functional and the right side mirror control wasn't working either. Besides those small, but important factors, I would definitely come back to the location for another rental.

SUSAN Kif there is no gurantee in getting a storage unit that you reserve weeks in advance on the day you reserve it, then why even have reservations at all? Just get rid of reservations over the phone or online and make them only available in person at the uhaul building.

However, when she arrived, the front desk claimed that she did not have a unit. I booked this in February expecting a reserved spot with the price rate and size I booked online. She persisted that I did not have a unit and told my daughter that she can find her a new unit because the one I booked online was unavailable even when I reserved it. I was given a unit but at a higher rate and that was completely out of my control. I did not appreciate the attitude from customer service and I will not book with this location again.

That's different than the listed hours (5am-10pm) for storage access, and especially different on Sundays when the unit is only accessible until 5pm. At no point was this communicated to me and I found myself unable to access things with a fully packed car. The early hours suck as is, but it's especially bad that they're not communicated to you in any way.

He didn't show my daughter the second unit of #346 so she only used one. I was charged a fee of $130,9 from March 7th to June 2022. My account was closed on June 10th because my daughter wasn't using the other unit that she was not aware of. I never received a phone call from U-Haul stating they were closing my account. I was promised a free month of storage I never received. Wendy an agent at U-Haul didn't fulfill this promise and instead just charged me the fee of $110,9 for the 4x4x6 on June 10, 2022.

My only complaint would be the entrance swipe did not work upon our return this summer, so we had to wait to enter the facilities to begin unloading our unit. Otherwise, customer service has always been fantastic, and everything is clean and well lit. (An extra shout out to Ezequiel who was extra helpful back in May when we opened a unit for this summer.)

The customer experience overall is just awful. I chose a location with equipment available, skipping over those where there was no guarantee. Then you wait until the last minute and switch to a location 60 miles away - a bait and switch tactic that customers HATE and is borderline illegal. So I give the facility 4 stars and the executive team at Uhaul 0 stars. You create nightmares for customers in the name of lower customer acquisition cost and asset utilization. You have lost a customer and I will be heading to social media next. Goodbye
