The app was exceedingly difficult to work with. It kept crashing when we went to pick up the keys. We spent one hour to get the keys and afterwards spent one hour trying to document our usage before we gave up on the crashing app. We wasted 2 hours wrestling with the app and in addition had great difficulty finding street parking to leave our vehicle.

Take more time with the customer. Felt kinda rush. We also had to adjust what uhaul said about the gas, they said it was full but it only had 3/4 of a tank on gauge. Told a worker about it and he took the contract and said he initial it and it should be ok.His initial was DH.

I originally went to another location where I made my reservation, but they politely told me the reservation was changed to the Cambridge location. I arrived at Cambridge at 6;59pm, 1 minute before closing. The door was locked and the lights were already turned off. I did knock and manage to get the attention of one of the associates. When she opened the door, she was rude and said they were closed and she couldn't help me. I begged her to help me with the app that said in one place the reservation was at Cambridge and another place said it was at the original lkcation. She checked the computer and told me I didnt have a reservation. I showed her the app and told her what the person at the other location said and nsisted I had a reservation. She checked again and found it, but said she couldn't help me and I had to call 800gouhaul. She closed and locked the door and left. Oh, it was raining and I was standing outside getting wet the whole time.

This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I reserved a car and storage unit 6 weeks in advance, only to be told uhaul had no car available for me (I was ultimately given a massive truck that was difficult and dangerous to drive in my neighborhood with tiny streets) and no storage locker except one that was less the half the size I had reserved. I did not reserve an appropriate size locker just for fun - I did it because I had an entire apartment to pack up and needed the space immediately because my lease was over. The employees were wholly unsympathetic. I was offered no refund or discount or anything for this massive disaster that uhaul caused me. I had to drive an extra hour to store my belongings out of necessity. The employees even refused to allow me to drop off the truck at the new location saying I would be charged heavy fees even though this was a problem entirely of uhaul’s creation. To say I’m disatisfied is an understatement and I feel it’s absolutely ludicrous that no one at uhaul apologized or compensated me for this huge and inexplicable inconvenience.

My rental was a pice of crap. I used it locally but would not trust it on a long trip. Service was OK as usual even though I did the pre check in it still took a while. I usualy rent from this location a few times a year.And will continue to do so

Finally nobody told us that the gas station close by was not working,and we had to go 2 miles to find another one, a heads up would have been nice.

My original reservation was at location: 240 N Beacon St Brighton, MA 02135 For an open utility trailer. There was one, but after hooking up, the wiring for the trailer brake lighting did not work, and there was not a second trailer available to substitute. Luckily this Cambridge location had one. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes (and took 20 minutes to get there), whereas it took almost 45 minutes at the Brighton location..without a trailer. C'mon! Time is money.. the materials to move was further delayed by late afternoon traffic, which made the experience even more frustrating. I better not have been charged twice.

Very helpful staff. Our movers suggested we buy tie-down straps for the truck. Unfortunately, this location recommended (and we purchased) straps that don't work well inside their trucks. [Fortunately, the UHaul return location let us return the product.]

The left mirror was moving while driving on the highway which I lost sight, specially when I need to switch lanes. I called the office and the general manager supposed to contact me which never did. Also, I had a problem to return which I was not able to do it on the website and Uhal charged me an extra day and service. I contact the office and they did remove the bill. This will be the last time I will bring business to your company.

When I called by phone the day after my rental to confirm what my final bill would be, the person I spoke to told me that the vehicle had been marked "late" and "not returned." I told this person that I had parked it on the street by one of the meters. Anyway, the person could not figure out what was going on, so he/she was going to call me back. The communication on this phone call was not very clear - I got the impression that the person I was speaking with was not really LISTENING to what I was saying. Perhaps the phone operators need training in LISTENING carefully - it's not easy to always be listening carefully for a person who is fielding calls all day long - but it is very frustrating for the person on the other end of the line (me) if it seems like the operator is not really listening closely to what I am saying. But, overall, the service was great, and when I called back an hour later and spoke with another operator, they were able to confirm my charges. Thank you

I was originally charged for 3 gallons of gas, having only traveled a distance of 7 miles. The staff initially took a "blame the customer" attitude for the mix-up, which was upsetting. The problem was ultimately corrected but not without first causing distress.

I also went to the Sommerville location on Linwood, the service there was exceptional. Manny made us feel like VIPs and made sure we were able to get a truck for our move. Christopher at the Cambridge location was a joy to work with and we called the help line multiple times and had excellent service each time. REALLY impressed by U-Haul, would book again 10/10 times.
