Basically the rental agent handed me the keys and had me walk down a long ally with a dolly that didn't work to get the rental truck... Very disappointed.

I booked this storage unit online weeks in advance. It was the only uHaul facility in town with a 10'x15' storage unit. I reserved it when there were a few left. I get here and the man didn't even know if this facility had any and then put my in a 10'x10' unit with nothing more than a $8 lock for free as compensation. Afterwards he said that he "thinks" they have 10'x15' units just none available but he wasn't even sure because he apparently didn't know how to use the computer system that tells him what they have. If I wanted a 10'x10' unit I could have chosen a more convenient facility than that one. I chose that one because it was supposed to be the only one in town with 10'x15' units. I do not like having to stack boxes so high. One, I'm short, 2 if they fall, my stuff is broken and it's on my dime to replace it. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income I can't afford to replace my things. When I turned in my 6'x12' enclosed trailer he just said he would send me an email for the return and I have yet to receive said email.

Office staff is not on the same page with the other dealers. I had to rent pads from another location (only location that had them) but I could not return pads to the location where I rented the trailer. I had to drive across town to return them. The dealer there said the original location could have taken them. Frustrating. I had trouble with a reservation I had made at yet a 3rd location (San Mateo in ABQ, NM) and will not go back there for my rentals. The office staff (female I dealt with for the rental) was just rude and played the "blame game" with me since the equipment I reserved was not available. She kept saying it was "my fault" that the equipment was not there.

This U-Haul location is in a bad part of town I understand that but when we picked up the truck there was broken glass all over the parking lot including underneath the tires... people obviously breaking into your trucks but I would appreciate having that swept up before I pick up a vehicle. Other than that the service was excellent and prompt

The Eubank store set me up with a trailer that could not be used on the highway then found a trailer that could at a different store. Not Nice, Bad Work,caused me to lose time.

I called customer service to extend my rental and she charged me the fee. And then the uHaul location called telling me that there were no notes on my account and I had to pay the fee AGAIN. I don't know who messed up, but that is unacceptable.

The truck we rented was damaged. They let us know beforehand and we accepted the truck anyways due to availability constraints but it was frustrating to pay so much for a damaged truck.

My vehicle wasn't available at the location I originally rented so I had to get a different ride at a different time to go to one further out of the way. Then when it came to returning it, although I came during business hours and someone was there, they weren't able to take the return at the desk so I couldn't pay on the card I wanted to pay on, so it defaults payment to the credit card I used to hold the reservation.

Theft, theft, and the possibility of my belongings getti g stolen constantly. Management has done nothing to secure the large storage units off of San Pedro. In the few months we were storaing our belongings there, many of the units were broken into. When I approached management, got excuses about hir8ng private security, that never happened. Put up a fence for crying out loud. I will never store anything at Uhaul ever again. The truck rentals are flipping awesome, stick to that.

Dirty windshield and mirrors,no washer fluid. Nothing at location where ordered. Truck in Albuquerque dolly in Sante Fe( really?). No pads at these locations, never advised of changes to p/u locations in advance... Manager at 6th St location helped solve problems. Other locations made no effort.

First of all I ordered a van I didn't get no call or anything to let me know that I was going to have to get upgraded because the van was being kept for a little more time I'm a small person I cannot drive big old trucks that's why I always get a bath they could have called me and told me it might have to take a little while longer I would have waited instead I go show up and find out that I got moved up to a truck and I just have to take the truck because that's all that is available not cool not satisfied with my experience this time on top of that they tell me to go get the truck in the back on n and my truck lines up being on o they didn't even know where their trucks were parked I mean it was just a very bad experience I had to drive a truck that I could hardly even see over the dashboard it was horrible I did not like it I wanted a van I even reserved the van the prior day the day before I went to go get it I reserved the van but it was just a horrible experience I wish next time that I go to the you guys you guys have your stuff in order and you guys should start giving people a call to let them know that if the vehicle they've reserved is not going to be available let them choose if they want a truck or if they want to wait for the van don't just automatically assume that they drive a truck I'm a tiny woman I couldn't drive the truck it was very hard to see over the dash the seat didn't go upward it went forward and back but it didn't go upward so I couldn't get any taller it was just horrible I hope next time I come in it's better and I hope that you guys start calling people or come up with some kind of system to let people know that what they reserved the day before is not going to be available or either that it is going to be available just at a later time keep us the option not automatically assume we're going to be able to drive a big ass truck.

My unit was broken into twice in a 3 week period. It is the least secure storage facility I have ever used and do not recommend it all.

I was given a truck with ~1/8th a tank of gas which promptly warned me I had less than 50 miles of gas with just a few minutes of driving. Worrying about gas issues should be the least of my concerns on a moving day so I am not very appreciative of the bare minimum gas provided. I returned the truck with 1/4 a tank (7 gallons added) so hopefully the next customer will have a better experience.

Nightmare. Don't go here. Get storage at a storage facility. Uhaul specializes in overpriced moving trucks and extorting people with excessive hidden fees. Worst experience ever!!

Stop advertising that you have free storage for a month and available storage units and hire employees who aren't rude, hateful and terrible. I spoke on the phone to one who told me that by renting a truck I was eligible for a month of free storage. I rented a truck twice this month and they charged me tons in fees and mileage. I had to rent a truck twice because my old job and new job both scheduled me to work my days off and made my move a living hell. I was sleep-deprived, weak, dizzy and not doing so good. I asked for moving help and the people at this Uhaul location were extremely rude and hateful to me. They took my money and didn't refund me when I decided to go to a different location for storage because they refused to give me free storage and wanted to charge an ungodly amount. They probably charged me several additional days on the truck. And they told me they had available storage units then told me no there were none left just a few minutes later. They wasted my time and energy and money, when I had very little left. I hope I never need a moving truck again, but if I do, I will go out of my way to avoid using Uhaul. I filled that gas tank to 3/4 tank full and somehow they still keep charging me extra! Anyway, stop the false advertising and be honest. The free storage thing really made my day a lot harder and I have had to ask friends and family for money because the moving experience was so much more expensive than I thought. And I thought I planned and had enough to cover it all. Anyway if you're moving, go anywhere else but Uhaul unless you feel like being verbally abused by lazy rude assholes. They told me that they had a large storage unit but it was out of order because it had a huge hole. They said that the website inventory doesn't match the actual inventory. They also said they don't give free storage and that they don't care what the website says they charge full price. I'm just glad to be done moving and that I don't have a storage unit through that place.

On my particular truck, I recommend you seriously check the brakes. Going downhill with a full load was very difficult to stop even at a slow speed. I forgot to mention this to the person that checked me out when I returned the truck because she was there all by herself and someone was waiting in line. The driver side visor needs to be replaced or fixed, it keeps falling down. The mirrors do not seem to adjust properly. They seem to only go in predetermined increments, so when you look in the mirror you either see half of the truck or none of the truck if you push it too far out. This truck may just need to retire.

The location was fine… the problem I had was a supposed guaranteed reservation, but when I got there they didn't have the car dolly I reserved and said they were already reserved and then up charged me for a car trailer. Not the best customer experience

The door was stuck around 8pm to the outside entranced I called the oncall manager he never called back and I asked he even call me back the next morning to let me know the door was fixed he never called back. I even sent an email. The people working at the front desk where nice. But the managers Customer service is terrible. Luckily after about 50 tries.

The facility, had problems with the door, sometimes the key would not give access. The area needs a fence around it for safety and key accesses. While the floor is clear of Debris, a device to scrub the floors would be advised. Especially with COVID. I have discontinued my storage in Albuquerque only and getting notice need to pay?

Central facility at Albuquerque NM. No security gate, the facility floor and ground are in need of a cleaning. Security, there is no fence surrounding the property, this means the property is at risk. The staff , only have good thing to say, Courteous and professional. This is near a military installation, and making good money on storage; however, it is a disappointment (because of Maintenance and security), which there's no excuse for ;because, making good money on government storage. My trailer attached had also not had not had a proper safety check and look as though had been repaired( however, door came undone at destination). I will be seeking another storage facility in ABQ, I don't feel safe and because of COVID-19 Cleanliness is a needed priority. This will create an inconvenience to me and cost me money. Because of the facility condition had no choice, but to carry insurance. I feel when a service is involved there are expectations for safety and cleanliness. .

Was repeatedly harassed about this unit. Never moved in and had the unit transferred to a different location. Was still billed for 3 months and then a lein was placed on said empty unit. Overall poopy experience. Never will I deal with this shady excuse for a business!

The Problem I had was not your people. It was the Homeless. Someone was trying to Steel the tow Dolly, I used to pull my car. Someone bent my lock to get the tow Dolly. I told your office to put a fence around it.

Office never had change (not coin). I'd often try to pay my storage rent with $100 and seeing my rent was $95 I wouldn't think $5 in return would be huge strain but I was always treated like I was a nuisance. Items for towing, moving, storage and renting storage units are available to purchase but regardless no change. I found syringes in the elevator while visiting my unit on more than one occasion. Also my rent was going to be increased which prompted me to look at other facilities. Come to find out that I was paying much more compared to other Uhaul locations and with the increase at this location I was able to rent a bigger unit at a different location with better amenities. Other than the only Lady that works in the office the rest of the staff were unpleasant, unhelpful, rude and lazy. Never moving from in front of the computer screen or doing anything to genuinely assist customers. I'd never recommend this facility.

The facility is almost always clean but recently (on July 22nd) I visited to pick up some belongings and the elevator had a sticky floor, there was garbage in the halls, and there were numerous visible cockroaches in the space. When I returned yesterday to move out, the conditions were again improved. But late July was a horror show!!

I don't know I never used my storage and it was only 10 days and cannot get a partial refund since in ever used the storage I'm upset the manager still hasn't called me or emailed me to see if I can get some money? I paid a lot of money and ended up getting an apt faster than I thought I would so I know longer needed andbeen trying EVER SINCE the 5th of June and still no response

My card never worked in the RIGHT slot. Great big nasty guy didn't believe me and made me walk back and forth across the lot several times instead of just letting me swipe RIGHT inside store.

I had wanted to get my truck at Central because I am familiar with their service, but UHaul had set me up with Pete's Auto. I wasted 2-3 hours trying to get a truck. Finally back to Central took 5 min

The worker got my name wrong on record even when given an ID, she still could not input the name correctly. The key card access was also difficult to enter because there was a long delay to open.

Ridiculous how many times I had to call, leave messages, and go to the store to get my storage rental closed out! Removed my stuff on 6/2, yet the records say it was 6/15. Obnoxious & unprofessional.
