Before driving off the lot, make sure that you take a picture as proof of the dolly. Supposedly, it has a zip strip on it to secure it in truck? My only purpose for the truck was to haul an appliance. I requested to rent an appliance dolly, which I collected from inside store and loaded into truck. This cost extra $10. Upon return of truck they also charged me extra $7, stating that I also used the utility dolly that was already in the truck. When I told them I didn't use the utility dolly, management rudely said, "can you prove it"?! I told him I don't know if there was a zip strip on that dolly and no I didn't take a pic. to "prove it" as I did not know I would need to. I had to fight to get reimbursed that $7! I told him I specifically requested the appliance dolly to move one piece of appliance. I had no need for the other dolly, I did not use it, I did not know I'd have to make sure it was zip stripped and take a pic to prove it! Was rudely given the refund. I have to wonder how many other persons get these extra charges tacked on and don't go back demanding refunds? Who pockets that money? humm?

The poor woman who had to run the whole store by herself was not trained properly. This was not a fault of hers but her general manager, who consistently gave her inaccurate information over the phone as she asked questions for each customer she assisted and needed to call him to walk her through trouble shooting and finding contracts. My reservation was canceled and redone multiple times. I arrived at location at 12 noon to pick up prepaid truck and didn't leave until almost 7pm. The truck only had hafl a tank of gas and the associate did not look over truck with me rather just asked me to let her know what the mileage was prior to my leaving the lot. For 30 minutes she was in the parking lot assisting a customer with a trailer while i waited in the shop by myself. and her minor child sitting behind the desk. It seemed this location (6401 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108) was very poorly managed. Terrible experience. And then I received a truck with transmission issues and drove it unknowingly 1200 miles. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Pick up of van was fine. On return, I found a "will be back soon" note on closed doors. After I waited 25 minutes, Andres appeared, saying he had to go to the bathroom. There was a young woman behind the counter and I asked if she worked there. Andres explained that she was not an employee. May I suggest leaving an expected time of return or having another employee over lunchtime?

I had asked to pick it up at Indian School and Eubank, they changed my location with not notifying me which was extremely inconvenient! And we had to make 2 stops because we went to the first one and then where told they had moved us to a different location!

My original reservation was with the 1901 Eubank but my truck was not available and had to go pick one up from the Central location and lost out with people I had ready to help move due to this being not ready and organized. A call needs to be made if a truck is not at a reserved location to not make the trip and find out where to go instead.

There is absolutely zero customer service , I had to walk my rented appliance dolly around the block and locate my own truck. I asked for simple instruction on how the link worked in order to inspect my truck and the guy behind the counter offered no assistance. One on one service is always better than pushing your customers off to a phone app. Returning the vehicle was just as bad as there was no one there and it took 25 minutes to manuvere thru the on line return app. It would not except anything kept giving errors terrible process. I will not rent from this location again

Make sure that 5800 Central Ave SW, Budget Storage is removed as a drop-off location. I went to return my equipment only to be told they no longer did UHaul. That was a frustration at the end of a move. Otherwise, we love UHaul.

I got to the location a bit early, so they were not still open. At approximately 8:45 AM a grouchy counter guy entered the place, I waited, and waited, and waited for him to open the door, at about 8:10 AM, I finally came knocking on the door, he was rude, and said, "I opened at 8:45 AM." He saw me seating outside his bench but said nothing. During the checking process, we were rude, appeared to be angry at something, and took it on me!!

Easy to get into and out of lot. The guy was very helpful - how the truck drove ,gas mpg range,how to hook and unhook car dolly , size of boxes we need for move. Truck was clean, inside and bed area, good tires, easy to use trailer hitch, full of fuel, radio, automatic transmission, air conditioning . Special thanks to Joshua - Eubanks U haul - for helping load car on car dolly. U haul you have good people working for the company. I will definitely use U haul again.

Per the road side assistant that came to change a tire only 20 miles out of town, the tires on our car dolly were so over inflated it was no wonder we blew a tire. He let more than 10lbs of pressure out of the remaing tire to ensure we didnt have issues again. We had a very small car on the dolly and are glad it wasnt larger as the blow out could have been much worse.

I was 22 minutes late for my scheduled drop off time, so they doubled the price. I had the truck for 6 hours and 22 minutes, travelled a total of 30 miles, and they charged me almost $200 dollars. Never using u-haul again.

On April 30, 2019! we went into U-Haul and rented a truck for April 27,2019. When we arrived at the time for pick-up at 1200pm the truck was not there. Apparently Uhual had tented it out and it was suppose to end back by 930 am. The employee called and was told the renters had dropped it off at another location. That location is not open on Saturdays. He called U-Haul and explained to them (Sherraho, not sure if I am spelling her name correctly), she said she could get one for us in Albuquerque, this would add on an additional 90 miles to the trip, plus we would have to take another vehicle, and pay for gas. I told the guy to tell Sherrano that U-Haul needs to compensate me for their mistake, she then starts laughing! We could here her even though it was not on speaker, she tried saying she was not laughing at us, if not was she laughing at a joke someone sent her while she was working with a customer?? Unprofessionally behavior! The. She states on the conversation that she will comp us 92 miles and credit my card for $50.00, aa we were in a predicament we had to take that. When we arrived to get the truck we found it was going to be $257.00, no one explained the deposit. The guy at U-Haul said we would not be charged as we were using a credit card. I was charged $157.00 bit the credit, when I get it will take the charge down to $107.00, still $30.00 more than what we were told by Sheerano stared. I am very upset that she gets to laugh at customers expense, and gets to miss quitar do not tell customers what all the charges will be. I am very upset that o go and rent a truck and that truck gets rented out and it’s no problem for U-Haul. It’s a problem that I have to change my plans because your company cannot guarantee reservation. Your all about the money not the customer! Shame on you!
