they charged me for an extra day even though I talked with customer service the day before and they said it would be ok to return the truck that day and it would not have to be 6:00am. I guaranteed it would be back that day, just not at 6:00am. They said it would be ok and there would be no additional charge. However, they did charge me for an extra day without telling me and without a signature. I called customer service about this and they were going to call me back. They never did. each time I call customer service I am on hold for 10-15 minutes.

Over the last two weeks I have tried to get a hold of someone to change my reservation to 48 hours. Due to your phone system and your website I experienced a lot of frustration. Multiple call with wait times over 10 minutes and a chat box with no response for 5 minutes. I finally gave up and tried again on another day. I really think you need to focus on customers being able to communicate with you. Locations provide great service, but customers can not communicate or get information that might not be available on your website, you could be loosing business.

I got a call a few days before my pickup date and they changed the location to one that is 10 miles further away from me. When I asked for some “comp miles” given it is $20 round trip out of my pocket the guy kept repeating the same answer which came across as arrogant and rude. I asked if there was a manager to speak to, he replied that he was the owner and no one was above him in the Denver market. In prior instances, whenever I have had something come up with UHaul they have either helped me out in some way or at least be apologetic...this guy was just like take it or leave it, I have other people who want the truck you reserved. When I went to pick up the truck, the gas gauge was at 1/16. After driving one half mile it was at the empty mark. Fortunately there was a gas station close, I don’t know that I have ever rented a vehicle with less than 1/4 tank of gas, especially a huge moving truck where options to refill are more restrictive. Poor experience and will never use this location again.

We understand Colorado has illegal dumping and tent cities along with a Democrat running for President who was booed off the stage in San Francisco. But all you need is a lock and the managers also are all complaining nationwide about your switching over to checkin with hand heads

Whomever it was that set up my rental didn't inform me that a credit card is needed to reserve it, not a debit card. She still made the reservation anyway but when I got to the location I was refused a truck until I found someone who's credit card I could use. The overall experience was fine, but better discretion would've been appreciated.

Your "policy" of demanding a secondary contact number, which you then must call and speak to the person before you will rent a vehicle, is antiquated, overly intrusive, and completely inappropriate. Not only that, but it confuses the other person. Why should anyone else be involved in something so trivial as a local Uhaul rental? The person is left wondering, are they somehow responsible for something? Further, I have already learned of another recent customer at the same location for whom you did NOT enforce this policy. I have rented many times in recent years from other Denver metro area locations without such a silly request. You have ID, you can charge the credit card, you can ask for proof of insurance, but it is completely inappropriate to intrude on someone else's life with a phone call out of the blue before you engage in a $200 transaction with a grown man.

This was beyond the most horrible experience I have ever had. The representative lied and over charged me. This is a total scam. I will contact every outlet to expose the deception. I reserved a truck. I called to spoke to Alfredo on the phone about the zipper being broken on the pads. He said tear it open. I get overcharged saying the mover didn’t return the truck til 7:19 next morning and he knows for sure because he spoke to the guy about the zipper. Lies. Then he says it was dropped in the drop box So which is it. They got the truck before They closed and cameras will Show this. I am exposing the rip off. Not only did they lie to me. But overcharged me. And lied on the people who help move with their company. This is a fraud and I’m contacting all news outlets... you cannot take advantage of customers. Never ever use this company. If you want to move use anyone else.

The checkout process though I already scheduled lasted over 20 minutes because the link expired while uploading pics of the truck. Store personel asked me to call customer service. I placed over 6 calls most of which got dropped off or hang up on. Finally the last person was courteous and said I had already checked out..27 minutes later after my initial arrival.

The price for a 6 X10 open trailer is too expensive. Though I said that the trailer was not cleaned it doesn't matter for me, I think paying $39.44 for a trailer that I only need it for only 7 hours. Too expensive!!!

The mileage was not correct and I called the office and someone advised that they would "note the account" that the mileage was 200 miles off!!! Then, when I was charged, they charged me for way too many miles. I also tried to check in after hours and the web portal was not working. When I spoke to the representative he was beyond rude and, again, said that they would "note the account" about the issue. I have no idea if I was charged correctly for the number of days that I had the vehicle. This is the second time that U-Haul has screwed me over!

There were computer problems while we were renting the van which really slowed the process. All the staff however were very friendly and apologetic and were doing everything in their power to expedite the process.

The employee that I worked with was not knowledgeable about how anything worked. The driver seat in the truck had loose bolts and when I brought this to the attention of the uhaul employee he said that they do not have tools to fix it and that I would have to call roadside to come and tighten the bolts. When I spoke to the manager he had it fixed within 3 mins.

Got my truck in the morning and the place was fulled staffed. Came to drop the truck off 3 hours later and there was only 2 staff member's left and stood on line for 25 minutes !! Staff was polite and professional and said the managers went home for the day at 12pm! WTH??? left them to do all the work alone and it was so busy. Piss poor managers!!!

I reserved my U-Haul 2-3 weeks in advance because I know that trucks get reserved early. I got called 2 days before I was suppose to pick up my U-Haul telling me that they didn't have a 20 foot truck in the Denver Metro Area. I got a $50 off of a $211 truck which I honestly didn't think was even worth it for the size of the 15 foot truck that they gave us instead. We didn't get all of our stuff in this one truck so now we are having to pack our cars and move the left over boxes and hour and a half away. It was very inconvenient, and probably going to look other places when looking for truck rentals. Also they never told us it was due back at a certain time they just said it was due the next day. Overall this experience was the absolute worst and definitely not worth the money at all.

Denver had a blizzard my complaint not with this location but with UHAUL- this is 2nd incident- !st one we had no heat in a snow storm and went from Colorado to Mo. 12/2018 Then we got things unloaded only to find my husbands football memorabilia from high school ruined ( has NFL career history) from a leak in the roof ! I called only to be told we had to spend hours and a lot of time trying to send pictures into corporate etc. so I just let it go, ( I am very busy! Now we move back to Denver and the blizzard hit, making national news even on 03/2018, so we book a trailer online for one day ,but it was enclosed so when I realized it I called the same number and ask to change it, no problem done ..easy. So we google the address and find out that the location was changed without my knowledge to an hour away from where we needed ... ugg so we drive out there ...guess what they wrote us up then went took hook up and an enclosed trailer was still on my order..ok I m getting mad right?? so the guy fixes it 20 more minutes and we finally head out to pick up couches.. this was the day before the blizzard right so we go all the way back past our house onto the other side of Denver ( Golden co. ) get the load then take it back to our house and we got routed by our map and low and behold we drive right by the location that DID have several tailors like the one we wanted just a mile from our home, so we stopped to asked if they where available to rent all day that day or had they been pre-booked right??? Turns out we could have gotten a trailer same thing as we had hooked up..... right there and saved us 3 hours of driving and not to mention by the time we where done it was dark and raining all over our brand new furniture. So I uhaul.....I explain all this, I also told her that we dropped off the trailer at the closer location because it was not our mistake and we wanted our money back, all of it this time. this gal tells me ( after knowing that we where in a national emergency and blizzard a warning had been put out that day, and hearing the whole story of the crud we have dealt with both times... and believe me I was very polite not mad, just wanted to be done right ya' know??) She has this tone that changed, told me I better go get that or I would be charged 200 dollars plus if I did not have that back to the place I picked it up at! Well not only was I not going to do that but unless they somehow call me back and fix everything from both these trips ( I have use Uhaul for all my moves over 44 years ), I will not recommenced them or ever use them again. I work with a multitude of corporate outfits and I will never use them to haul any of our products, move our employees..NOTHING.....unless this gets corrected. God Bless, The Evans Family

I gave an average grade to the pickup site for a couple reasons. I likely caused much of the issue myself when I made a change which brought some drama to them they didn't need on a busy Friday evening as they were already operating at max capacity and with a snow storm already starting to come in. Unfortunately this site is a bit understaffed for the level of customers they had that evening, perhaps partly based on there being 2 very new people working out of the 3 they had on hand which included the manager who was fairly amazing in her abilities, and patience. ALL WERE WORKING VERY HARD to take care of me and other customers that were coming in, but there were apparently some issues (computer oriented) with printing my updated contract, and perhaps some confusion with the regional scheduler (if that isn't the right term, sorry) who had been most helpful as well. That all said, after an hour (+) or two, I eventually got the truck. When I came back for the trailer the next day, it wasn't as bad, but it still seemed that they could use more help due to the number of customers. It was also in the middle of a heavy snowstorm. My main problem is with the actual charging of my credit card each time the contract was attempted. While I was told that there would likely be a delay with the refund for the smaller truck I turned in and a new charge for the truck I picked up, there were actually several charges that had to be refunded from the attempted contracts. The delays for the refunds posting were not truly long in coming, but it did put a pretty large sum sitting on my card till the first refunds came, and then the other refund for the turned in truck was figured out and eventually also refunded. I don't have any complaints about the site or the staff. Please get this site at least a little more help as the manager there is undermanned and maxed out and then some with the amount of customers, many of which simply needed propane fills, which she was the only one qualified for at the times I was there. Only negative was truck side mirrors could not be adjusted so had trouble viewing traffic beside and behind me. The associate who assisted me in rental at time of pick up (Ivan) was friendly and helpful as was the gentleman that checked truck upon return. I inquired about the use of ratchet straps to secure cargo, and none of the associates could answer my questions. Turns out, NO, the straps sold in the store will not work (easily) on the wooden rails in the box trucks. Also, I rented blankets online, we discussed them in the store, but was already loading when we discovered we didn't have them. Attention to detail would be appreciated.

The only issue is that the bathroom was never cleaned by your housekeeping staff and there were never any paper towels in there as well. Was happy for TP and soap.

Making people pay for another month when they won’t be there is robbing people. My place was ready on the 1st and I had to move my belongings out of the storage two days before to avoid paying
