I cannot, in good conscience, recommend U-Haul to anyone I care about after the experience I endured. From the moment I picked up the truck, I was met with issues that were both frustrating and alarming. The vehicle was handed over with low tire pressure, difficulty starting, and a check engine light illuminated-conditions that were casually dismissed as "sensor issues." These are not minor inconveniences; they're signs of neglect, and they left me questioning the safety and reliability of the vehicle. The customer service experience only compounded my frustration. Long wait times at the help desk left me waiting over an hour before I could even begin driving. What should have been a smooth process felt unnecessarily chaotic and unorganized. Then came the issue with refueling. Despite my repeated efforts to fill the gas tank, the nozzle shut off as if it was full. The gas station employee assured me the tank was filled and advised me to continue driving. Yet, I was later charged twice for insufficient fuel-charges that felt both unfair and exploitative after I had done everything I could to ensure the tank was full. This experience left me feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. The hidden fees, the subpar vehicle conditions, and the lack of accountability were disheartening. Renting a truck should not come with this level of stress and distrust. For these reasons, I will never turn to U-Haul again and would urge others to consider alternatives when seeking a rental service.

I told the gal who was helping me that I already had a reservation idk if she couldn't find it in the computer but then she ended up ringing it up all over again. And charged me 250 dollars more than I was quoted for i asked her why it was more and she told me it must be due to taxes. I had to go back for a box dolly because the one I asked for wasn't in the truck. I was sent to this location when the Buckley location realized the truck they had for me was dead. I would have rather worked with the gentlemen over there. He seemed at least like he knew what he was doing and tried his best to help me rectify the situation. Moving is hard enough without everything else going wrong on top of it. I was getting a1 way 20 ft truck I was supposed to have a car dolly and was given a trailer.

There was a problem with my bill and the clerks called for me and informed the person of nothing that I pointed out to them. Then the person I was supposed to get a call from never called. Them when I went to close my storage unit out there was no clerks around I was about to call while in the lobby. She had a bad attitude when she finally came in and I informed her I never got a call then she turned it around and said I talked to the wrong people but I talked to her. Unprofessional and the elevator I thought was going to break down there was no inside left part of the door. Glad I'm gone.

Have someone outside to facilitate a quicker return process. There were 3-4 trucks/vans outside and no U-Haul rep.

When renting the truck I had reserved two days earlier, I was given the key and told to walk to the east side of the building to pick it up. There I found eight or more trucks that were covered in snow. It took about 5 minutes to find the correct truck. I had to remove the snow from the windshield. While this may be standard practice it's not customer friendly in my opinion. I would have expected the truck would have been pulled out of the parking spot with the snow removed. And then when returning I had to wait 10 minutes in order to be told to just leave it. The equipment was in good condition but customer service was lacking.

The vehicle I drove shook a lot. I even went to the Dr after I drove it because my head started hurting. Fix this problem before someone gets really injured.

We have had our personal goods stored at this facility for the last 7 years and during that time we haven't had any issues with our items. We would recommend this facility to anyone who wanted a secure and climate controlled location to store their personal goods.

I've rented this same van a few times before. This van was sluggish and rough. I also filled the gas tank to over half which it was under half when I picked it up. I have photos to prove it. I was charged for 3 gallons of gas. I will recommend everyone to stay away from this U-Haul maybe even U-Haul in general. Dishonest. No integrity of safety

Brahita the store manager has been extremely helpful and kind to me. And she was always courteous. Also the in store personnel was very kind. Barnaby helped me close out my storage on October 6th. and I appreciate the kindness that he showed me. Yes I would recommend this Uhaul facility to others

I pulled in to drop the trailer, the attendant told me where to put it. He unhooked it from my truck and said he would complete the rental and email my receipt. I get a call the next morning from another employee with a bad attitude telling me that I haven't returned the trailer when I had the day before. Being rude to your customers is unacceptable.

I completely forgot my laptop in the rental. They called me about it after I dropped the truck off, but I told them that I wasn't missing anything. I remembered that it was my laptop he was talking about when I came home to use my laptop. Please advise

Not charge a hidden fee for returning to the wrong location when I never picked a location in the first place! The reason I didn't is because it wanted me to return it almost an hour away and there was 1 20 minutes from my new house!

i did not like the zip tie on the door. i did not have scissors with me and did not know i would need them. luckily i was able to muscle it off, but then the alarm went off and gave me a headache. also, the free lock was nice but again, really hard to open without a cutting tool with me.

This was the worst experience I had with u haul ever. I thought it was going to be smooth. I was lied to over and over by staff stating they fixed something. I went to 5 different locations to rent and return my equipment. U haul sent me all over the world. Also I didn't get the size equipment I rented and I had to throw away items.

Andrea D. (Facility Manager) is a hidden gem (diamond). She has the most caring and sympathetic spirit for her customers than anyone I have ever encountered at U-Haul. Andrea and her staff under her guidance went above and beyond to assist me with my move-out and truck rental, I am disabled with severe neck and back spasms due to injury, Andrea offered to personally help me with moving out of my unit. Over several days, I was fortunate enough to observe her interaction with numerous customers, she interacted and personally assisted them equal to my experience. Words cannot truly express the character, concern, empathy, and genuine attitude and attention she gives to ALL of her customers. Although she has a great team, She is Clearly the Alpha. SHE IS A GOD-SEND, U/Haul did an amazing job in hiring her, and should do everything in your power to keep her,

I had to wait over an hour to make a payment for my storage. There were 3 or more employees. One person do reservations and the two other were acting like the were working. One employees was on a personal call. I heard her talking to her man. It wasn't work related. I asked for someone to help. There were customers walking out. There were 5 to 6 customers in line after a left. No one apologized.

This location seems to be really understaffed. I understand that's not the employees' fault, and they're doing the best they can, but it's beyond frustrating as a customer. Lines were long each time I was in the store and they moved very slowly. When I checked in to my storage unit, the person helping me didn't explain the access card system to disarm the alarm. As a result I accidentally set it off, my card kept showing error messages, and I had to wait in line for half an hour to fix the problem.

Manager Prince had excellent customer service skills. He along with other associates made my total 3 1/2 - 4 year stay storage and truck rental a very pleasant experience.

The location didn't have a 10x10x11 so they gave me 2 small ones side by side . Storage is suppose to be 1 month free but they charged me . I had to speak with a supervisor twice for it to be corrected . They kept charging my card . Idk , not a good experience for me . Same with the movers !

One of your employee who drives a purple truck, tail gated me all the way to the u haul storage one day. I almost was going to curse her out in front of all the employees. But god don't like that. But the next time she does it to the wrong person they might hurt her at her job, or damage her vehicles. Other than that excellent place. And I promise you I'm not lying. I have had this storage since 2017 and I don't like the fact that you kept going up on the price every six months to a year and when I moved out I left a chair that was in good condition and was threatened to be charged for leaving trash AFTER I was packed up and had no where to put the chair. The customer service wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best. I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone because it is way more expensive than all of the new storage places popping up and they are not changing prices after a year.

Thank you to each and everyone of you guys that work or have worked at this Uhaul location… Every employee that I had any interaction with was at all times helpful…. No matter my issue and thru the years of renting here, there were MANY!! I was almost sad to be packing out of there and making my final trip to Texas with the last of my belongings… Again I appreciate everyone there… you guys made my life easier by just being so cool, respectful and understanding!!!
