Everything was great - the location, the staff, and how clean the vehicle was. The only thing I didn't like was the vehicle itself; it needs to be updated, as it's not in optimal condition. Other than that, everything else was excellent.

MARCUS CWhen I arrived to drop off, the site's drop off lane was backed up. So, I pulled into the parking lot and went inside. The agent called out to one of their employees to help me with the return. When the employee came out to the parking lot he scowled and complained that I didn't back the trailer into a spot…..what an asshole! If he wasn't so lazy to have cleared the return line before I got there I would have been able to access it.
GARY WDrop off was one way and was not this pickup location. The dropoff at 108 San Jacinto, Bryan Tx was amazing and helpful.

ROSEZELIA S1. Requested cargo van ended up with 10' truck. Unable to hang clothes on straight bar like you can with cargo van and 10' truck has no ramp. 2 . Steering wheel and dashboard covered in dust and am guessing dog hair. 3 . Shock absorbers completely worn out. 4. Drivers side rear view mirror loose and facing down constantly ( see #3) and upon return trip through a monsoon which meant I was driving with no rear view mirror. 5. The drivers seat was coming apart and out of alignment. I have photo if you need to verify. 6. The passenger door was difficult to close. 7. When the AC was turned to high it created a loud shrill whistling sound. 8. When I picked up the truck the low tire pressure sign was on and was informed the sensor was out. So… how was I to know when and if I did indeed have low tire pressure? I have used U-Haul many times in the past with no issues however, this was the worst experience I've had with a rental. To end on a positive note, I do appreciate that I was given the cargo van rate. I will be renting a 15' box tuck in 2 weeks and hope this past one is an aberration .
ROBERT EFriendly staff. There was a pretty big line of customers when I arrived and only one agent at the desk to serve them. I did appreciate that he acknowledged us and let us know he'd be right with us. He let us know that the only other person there was helping get people equipment. Another person joined him at the desk after 15 minutes or so. She was lovely. I think she was the general manager. From what I picked up on a phone call she received it sounded like another employee was late coming in that morning, thus the long line of customers. The gentleman who helped me with my trailer rental was terrific as well. I'd say the quality of the staff helped make up for the long line. Good job.

The day we went to pick it up we were told that they don't have any 10' trucks at that location, so they upgraded us to a 15' truck at no additional cost to us. If we hadn't already made plans, including a return flight, we would have cancelled and worked to secure a smaller truck. It DID cost us more. We were driving a truck that was bigger, harder to maneuver & park, and took more gas.

From the front of the store to the back of the stores operation this team has it going on. Did I mention how friendly everyone was!! Now that's customer service at its best. My next move U Haul has my business.

Rod MThey delivered the U-boxes right on time. After loading them, we went back to the store and requested that the boxes be picked up a week and half before scheduled, then taken to their storage which is included in the price. The boxes are smaller than I thought. Unless you are a pro at loading, then do not expect to be able to load an apartment full into one box. We had 3 boxes and could not fit all the furniture into them, but that is my fault because I did not hire professionals loaders and even though we saw one box before hand underestimated how much they would hold. This is far a long distant trip, which Uhaul will deliver for us. That alone makes it worth t he cost. One of the boxes was damaged before we received it, but still usable.

I tried to book one through the Uhaul app unsuccessfully, but it worked immediately when I went to the MovingHelp.com website. What should've been an easy move turned into an all-day affair.

ANDREW S | Expérience généraleThere was roaches in the unit. Someone threw a rat trap down from the ceiling into my unit and got it stuck on my boxes. Then roaches were all over it. Totally disgusting! Roaches were on the outside of my boxes stuck to the tape as they tried to get in them. I told staff and they denied doing that but who else is going to drop a sticky rat trap in there? I have pictures to prove it too. There was also a hole on the inside of the unit door. I had a reservation for a moving truck I did through customer service yet the employee couldn't pull it up. He kept trying to make me one and I said no I already have a reservation. Then when he finally fobs it, he acted like no details were there and kept asking me questions I already answered. I told him this and he said well they didn't put the information in your reservation. Another employee came over after seeing my frustration and she showed him look it's right there. Very frustrating to have an employee not want to look properly at the computer screen to find the details of my reservation and want to just 'start over.' It shouldn't take 3 employees to figure out how to read details of a reservation on a computer screen. Also, this facility charged me for a late fee of 20 when I turned my equipment in on time. When I complained about these issues I'm told of talk to our manager Monday, I don't have nothing to do with that. Nobody seems to know how to do anything at this location except take your money.

Quite frankly I'm not even sure why I'm filling this out as you guys were sending me bills for a contract I never opened in the first place. My drivers license as well as my whole wallet was stolen last year somewhere around the end of June 2022 a few days before July 4, 2022 by a gentleman named Craig A. Pittman who come to found out had used my identity as well as my credit cards at his convenience. He was able to rent a uhaul truck and apparently a storage unit at the above named facility. How could this have happened, do you not check identification to confirm the individual is in fact who they claim to be

Kentrell K | Premières impressionsI received a free month of a storage unit due to renting a Uhaul truck. When I went to move into the unit, the employee told me that I had to pay for the first month and that my second month would be free. I did not need the unit for 2 months, but figured if the second month was free anyway then I might as well keep it. I was annoyed about having to pay the first month because nowhere on the deal did it say that, but I accepted that nonetheless. We moved everything except for one desk out prior to the beginning of the second month, so it really wasn't necessary but again it was free so why not use it. When the second month came around, I was charged for it. I called UHaul and they could not help because there were no notes on my account, so they sent a message to the manager of the location to call me. I explained my situation to her and she said that the first month should have been free because they do not do the second month free. She processed a refund for the payment, which I appreciated. At the end of the second month I picked up my final item from storage and processed my move out. A few days later, I was charged again despite having moved out of the unit. I called back up to the facility and the manager refunded this payment as well. I am most frustrated about the amount of times I had to call to request refunds and also about the fact that I could have had one free month and then moved out, but the employee had no clue what she was doing. This was obvious at move in as well because she tried to move us into an already occupied unit and it took over 30 minutes for us to get everything taken care of so that we could move in.

She sends this kid out to look at my unit after I clearly told her that the thieves placed another lock on my unit after they had broken into it. She didn't budge, it was like she could careless! She tells me to come back the following morning and she would have a locksmith come out to remove the lock. I asked her "can't y'all just get the lock off". She said, no, this is their standard procedure. Came back around 9am the following morning for her to just have her guys cut the lock off, just like I had asked her when I noticed that my unit had been tampered with! To top it off, the insurance that I paid for, wasn't even worth having! They denied my claim, saying that it only covers forced entry. I guess in order for the insurance to cover it, they'd have to have rammed the door down even though they swing outward, not inward, or maybe cut into it with a sawzall. It sure is funny how the manager didn't show me the terms and conditions when purchasing their worthless insurance, and because of that, I truly believe this was an inside job! I will, NEVER, do business with UHAUL, EVER, again in my life!!!

The only thing i did not like was that the website shows the hours for access hours, however once i got there, i was told the access hours for the inside units were the hours of the office hours, i think that should be noted on the website.

So many people being forced to move into different living arrangements and having to move last minute. However, everyone was kind and the manager also helped me find a rental sooner than expected on a Saturday afternoon. The storage was convenient because I was going to look for a storage facility however my helpers said that the hallway was very narrow with not enough space for my sofas. It was extremely difficult to get my furniture into the storage. All in all, the transaction went very smooth and for that I am grateful. Merci.

I came back month later to move I find mold on my property,tables still wet.Mold fur growing on chairs.I had also noticed the climate control was to hot.I also let them know and was told no it was cool when I was back there,it was 76. I also took a pic thermostat on 78. I ask what the process I get a circled brochure followed by I don"t know. Then I say I guess I need to take pictures then they offer to take them too. I rent my U-haul that mind u blows kind of cold then stops blowing period then goes in in out so we had no ac in the middle of Texas heat. Then one reverse light was out. So moving was kinda late I came in said Im running late they said its ok . Bad weather came in and it was flooded I called in said no worries we will extend you .I thought they were being nice and then I was charged. Now I will have to call back because he charged me for 2 days and I paid first day, Never will I use this store again, most helpful there was lady with glasses and Randell the rest that I dealt with could have cared less. I ended up over charged and with a loss of furniture.

kenneth w | Expérience généraleRandell was completely out of line. First off, the experience was already a little frustrating because after fully loading the truck, it wouldn't start. They sent out roadside assistance who fixed the problem and we were on our way, it just put us back a few hours after an already long morning of packing and moving. That's fine, I understand things happen and staff was helpful with getting someone out to us. But we get there and after unloading the truck it was really hard to maneuver out of the storage area ( we had a 26 ft truck and our storage room was in the very back with sharp corners and trailers and vans and cars in the way making it even harder ). I called the front desk and asked for help because I didn't want to risk any damage to the truck. They assured us we should be able to pull out easily because they do it all the time and that we had to pull it all the way to the front in order to be checked in. That may be true but I don't drive these trucks on a daily basis to know exactly how to do it. There was also a van parked there that I asked if they can move so we can at least try to back out of the area. No one moved it. So we had to pull the side mirrors in and literally squeeze through the drive way. IT TOOK FOREVER and a whole lot of going back and forth but we finally made it near the front. We come in and all the person helping me move said was there was a trailer parked in the very back that made it impossible to turn that corner. Randell responded very rudely with how he does it all the time anybody should be able to do it he kept mentioning how it wasn't his problem and was like "it's not my fault you can't drive" and was really just being very unnecessary for no reason and things escalated. I work in service industry and I know how it can be dealing with people but in this situation it was completely uncalled for and unwarranted. Idk he was like on a power trip or something it was really weird. I told the person helping me to leave because things were getting out of hand and as he was walking out Randell proceeded to follow him out the door like he was going to attack him. He only stopped following after him when I yelled I was going to call the police because if you were there you could see the way he followed him he was looking for a fight. I had to walk outside and find a lady to finish helping me check out.

There were even times when the staff would call me because I had left my unit unlocked so I could come and secure it. The unit was clean and I never noticed any issues with pests or rodents. I am very pleased with my experience and would recommend them to everyone!
