A representative from the store called my phone multiple times the morning after my rental trying to pressure me into returning the truck early. I was supposed to have the truck from 1/16/20 to 1/19/20 but 7:21am on th 17th I got several calls asking me to return the truck early. Then another call later in the day to ask if I knew where to go. I'm in the middle of a relocation, loading and unloading my entire house so I didn't need someone constantly calling me if it's not even close time for me to return the truck.

Truck windshield was very dirty truck appear to be not driven for a while dusty inside...i don't believe the miles was charged for was correct...was told I driven 19 miles and was charged for 40...altho I didn't write down ending miles so I can't prove it....was spoken rudely by employee when turn in truck on the truck that was turn in on 1/1/20 ..but returned on 12/20 and rented again... Will probably return but miles will be written down b4 and after....i really feel I was over charged

You people place a hold on an amount and than still charged me again..and then tell me that I have to wait 3-5 days for me to receive it back when it only took seconds for you to place a hold on it..what I will be looking into is that how could you place a hold on 2 amounts on someone’s debit card..I will definitely research this because it just doesn’t seem right that 2 holds placed on someone’s card

The truck rode very rough and wobbled. I was sent to several different U-Haul Locations to drop off the auto transport and when I arrived no one wanted to help me and didn't want me to drop off the auto transport with them. Sent to another location where I was told they didn't have the space to accommodate. As a retaliation for my frustration I was sent to a location that turned out to be an empty field. The representative at the 8083 Elm Dr., Mechanicsville, VA wrote the address on a piece of paper and handed to me. She said she just got off the phone with the lady and she was expecting me. It turned out to be an empty field. Originally, she gave me the directions to the Laburnum Ave, Richmond location and I told her that was too far. So after all was said and done I get to the empty field where she sent me and I call back in and I was directed to the U-Haul right near Laburnum anyway. Worst experience I have ever had with you all.

I got the keys to my truck @5pm, came back after work @8pm, and there was a homeless man in the truck! He refused to get out. I had to call the police. The next morning, the manager was very nonchalant and careless about the matter. She stated they do not lock the vehicles to keep the homeless from breaking the windows. Uhaul should have an insurance to cover those instances/incidents. I am VERY disappointed. VERY.

The truck had not been fully cleaned out. Some before me had smoked in the truck and ashes were left in the cup holder and the cab smelled. In the back of the truck was a knife and packing blankets were left on the floor in a pile.

Please, correct charges for mileage. This time u-haul over charge me 2 dollar over. Then u-haul take a month to release the charges back to the credit card. Second time this happened, not acceptable.

The van should be picked up full, if you expect your customers to bring it back the same way. We received the vehicle 3/4 full, unable to filter 3/4 so had to just completely fill the tank, and was told we could not be compensated for the difference in what we put in and how we received it. The next person will be charged for full and it wasn’t, by you that’s could be considered fraud

This is the second time I have rented a Truck and both times I have had added charges at the end for which I opt out of...once again even after selecting no to the insurance for the truck it appears on the contract and end up paying for something I don't want. Your worker at the location she is very nice and helpful so this has no reflection on her.

When I checked in the lady asked my name and then stopped helping me to answered her cell phone and had a conversation with her kid while I was standing there. The other lady got on her cell phone after getting off the work phone and walked away while there was a customer behind me. The truck was not clean, previous renter smoked inside it with ashes in the cup holder. There were also protective blankets tossed all around the back that I didn’t ask for.

Had to reschedule to Saturday 30th, it was confirmed, then pickup location changed to Hampton. Then when we got there, there was a line out door with two people working and one of those was going in and out.
