The truck and trailer were both in great condition ready for a cross country trip. I had no issues during my travels and met all my needs.

On May 5th about 3pm The gentleman who checked me in was friendly and efficient. The two other co-workers were sitting in a UHaul pickup truck in front. I had to ask for help to lift the trailer off my hitch in the pouring rain. The guy didn't even get off the phone, I might as well have not even been there.

My reservation was for a 26 foot truck, they gave me a 15 foot truck with no notice that what I ordered wasn't available. The truck rattled horribly! I thought it would fall apart. Although there was no trash in the truck the walls and console had spills and gunk on them. I was not compensated for them not having what I ordered but just told that that was all they had and no options but to take it. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone and will most likely go to a different vendor next time.

location was very crowded, not enough staff to handle the amount of customers. Long line of rental returns blocked access as a customer coming in the pick up. The associate didn't help me assign a drop off location (one way rental) and left it open. THat led to a random place being assigned that was nowhere near my destiantion. And there was no after hours telephone support that could help me fix that. So I had to drive 90min out of the way to drop off at the randomly assigned location in order to avoid the threatened charge for dropping off at the wrong location. THe customer service also couldn't tell me how much that charge would be.

I'd suggest a customer service refresher course for your counter people. The guy that helped me was very unprofessional and rude. In the middle of our conversation he answered the phone without saying excuse me or anything. Then my truck wasn't there when I arrived for my reservation. The guy told me “life happens” and walked out of the store. Needless to say I am very unsatisfied with my experience with your company

The customer service was good but there was a delay in picking up the van due to one not being returned on time. That's not the employees fault. Just need better 2nd plan when vehicles are not returned timely. I was considered late to pick up which took an hour away from my rental time. We did get a gas credit since the van was provided with limited gas. The staff handled everything best as they could so I'm thankful for that.

I ordered blankets but they weren't in the truck. Make sure that extra items ordered are made available. Other than that the ordering process was easy and trouble-free. Returning the truck was also efficient as well.

I dropped the truck off early because the engine was making funny noises and the check engine light came on. I was planing on keeping it till the due date to pick up new furniture. When I stated what was wrong and that it p7t a big dent in my plans she replied with that sucks. The guy that helped me unload my car didn't even say I word even when i was thanking him. I get that it's a flat fee but I should have had a reliable truck and should have been given options when I had to return thr truck due to mechanical issues. I will not be using uhaul again.

The office staff is super nasty and rude. It's like they have a attitude because you coming to rent a moving truck. Also it's unprofessional to be eating why people waiting to get the paperwork. I was so unhappy with the service I started self checking myself in at line. Now the outside man who check the trucks in was really nice but he need some help he can't do all that by himself. But the office staff is poor y'all just hiring anybody at this point don't care who.

A jacking system mounted on the trailer tongue that will enable easy connection/disconnection from the towing vehicle's hitch when vehicle needs to be used separately. When trailer is loaded it is too heavy to lift the tongue by hand.

Stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to be waited on. Boxes and clutter everywhere. Looked more like an unorganized garage than a u-haul store. The person that assisted me was nice however, she seemed uninterested in my issues with where I picked up the u-haul. My guess is didn't want to get into a conversation about refunding me for the fact I had to clean the truck.

The trucks were reasonably well maintained but there were MANY signs that they have been used and abused over time. It is obvious that they no intent to ever fix the general exterior condition, but it was very beat up. The interior had multiple tears where the vinyl had torn from simply being used. The truck rode well once it had weight in it. Empty it was dangerous to drive. No where in your materials did you remind your clients of that condition. Staffers at the store, were very cold an indifferent as they walked the store facilities/yard prior to their formal opening time. No eye contact and general grumpiness. They did not act as though they were pleased that we were there. Once the store did open, they put on the façade of being pleasant. This job does not require the level of courtesy of a Chik-fil-A , but that standard is spreading and this franchise should take heed of the new standard that they need to emulate. I choices where I go to rent vehicles. Something to remember.

Truck was in terrible condition (broken side view mirror, smelled like smoke, spare tire and wheel were on truck, interior was dirty as well as the bed of the truck.). When I returned the vehicle to the store, the attendant boys were sitting in the garage playing on their phones and after I searched them out, the response was, "just leave the keys in the truck". When I went inside, the attendant entered the wrong mileage in the computer. After much confusion, they realized they were attempting to check-in the wrong truck.

When I got to the facility I was told that I didn't have a unit for my belongings. I was very upset I had a 20 ft truck a trailer and a SUV were was I supposed to put my stuff the young lady that was helping was very overwhelmed the Uhaul Place was extremely busy so another young lady came to help me. When I was making my reservation I told the lady that I needed the biggest unit because I told her what all I had, I ended up with a unit that I couldn't fit all my belongings and ended up putting the rest of my belongings in my niece garage because by this time the office was closed so I had nowhere to put my stuff. When I turned in the Uhaul the next day I was told that I went over 14 miles well the reason for is because I had nowhere to put my belongings so I had to store them in her garage the plan was to leave the truck there at the Uhaul place needless to say I was not happy with my experience and also when we went to pick up the truck in North Carolina we were sent to the wrong address my experience was not at all the greatest. Hopefully I would here from someone.

You guys auctioned my stuff without talking to me..... I laided in the hospital fighting for my life after contracting covid..... I gave an average because I was given false information on what I could fit in the storage I received. Although the staff was helpful, providing false information isn't acceptable. I said I would recommend someone else to UHAUL because I did get a polite staff, but again, they should be truthful on what can actually fit into a storage. If they are not sure then they should say so, and tell the customer that they recommend them to see it.

I enjoyed being with u haul but I went to take a few things out of my unit I found bed beg on my queen size mattress an box springs also they were on my king size box springs call the office an got alot of round around. I am not pleases at all.

Worst customer service I've ever had. I wanted to confirm our reservation and was left on hold for an hour and a half. We made it halfway through North Carolina before getting answered. The girl on the phone was beyond rude and short about helping. We finally get there and she tells me that they're closed I ask how I can sign in online and she just repeats that they're closed and she can't help me at all. It was 7:03. I asked where I was gonna put a huge truck, moving from Florida to Virginia and she shrugged at me. The next day was no better trying to get checked in. Same girl. Same bad attitude. Whoever called later to resolve an issue was much better but we're never using uhaul to move again after this experience.

It's a two story storage facility with no ramps or elevators or hand trucks. The doors were wide open both times we were there, anyone could have walked in or out. My sister was able to cancel and close the account, whose name was not on the account at all, and nobody even called me to see if I wanted it closed- glad she wasn't somebody's vindictive ex or stalker! This facility is not at all secure.

Uhaul has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and this facility falls right in line with the poor standard set forth by uhaul. Whether it's dealing with customer service over the phone, or directly with the facility, Uhaul maintains a consistent level of abysmal customer service. If I can help it, I will never use uhaul again for anything and I will make sure that any of my Sailors that work for me or with me, follow the same suit.

The reason I wouldn't recommend is one months after I put my things in storage they raised the place. Not a year or six months but one month later. I need storage for six months and budget for six months. I know cost of living etc go up etc. but they only gave three week notice after one month. Not a 60 day notice but hey it's thief business but budget with more in mind because will go up

I'd rented at this facility for 2 years in a row (during the summer). When COVID hit and students were forced to leave campus I again went to this facility. We live in California so I was forced to rent the unit for 14 consecutive months because Hampton did not reopen their campus. Month after month I asked the staff if there were any discounts being offered and was always told no. In light of all of the COVID restrictions and where we live it would have been nice if there was a discount offered.

We wound up going to another storage unit place because the halls for the storage facility were too small to where we coiling maneuver things into the unit. The doors for the 8x10 units are too small, large furniture would be difficult to fit in. The entrance into the units are fairly hidden so we had to ask where the entrance was. There was one or two helpful workers there that got us the help we needed. The ceiling on the inside looked like it was falling apart

I appreciated that the bathrooms were clean. The only issue I really had was that the angle and height of the entrance to the storage unit made it near impossible to move my couch in.

The questions above do not capture the difficulty that I had with this facility. The difficulty is in the design --- narrow labyrinthine hallways, low ceilings, limited access points, lack of carts, lack of elevators or lifts to the split-level units -- which made this facility very unwelcoming. I took one look at the unit and said "forget it." Went around the corner to Extra Space Storage and got something much more acceptable.

The questions you ask above are not adequate for an accurate assessment of this facility. Although the facility was mostly clean and the staff was helpful, the set up of the facility is very poor. The limited number of access points, the narrow passageways, The small doors, the low ceiling, and the stairs required to climb make this a very undesirable storage facility. I decided immediately to go find a different facility. I would not recommend this one to anyone.

My only issue is that when the doors were changed, the new keys for the lock weren't mailed right away. I waited almost a year and then had to send a friend who lives locally to pick them up for me. The lack of communication regarding the keys was not what should have happened. Every time I called, someone who tell me that the keys haven't been mailed because they were waiting on people's updated addresses so all the keys could be mailed at once. To me, that doesn't make any sense. They could have mailed in batches. Aside from that experience, the storage experience was good.

Great facility. Only complaint is that one of the access doors never worked. I had my card replaced a couple times but it was the card reader that is messed up. The staff always helped me to get in but it was a little bit of a hassle to go to the office each time I needed in.

Renting here and paying my bill was easy. My only issue is this, lighting is needed inside the actual storage room. The hallways are well lit, but to see inside the storage room you need the light from the hallway.
