Tell people where the key return is. It took us 5 min to find it because it is below all the locks, the black box. . At least show me where the key return is when I rent. I almost gave up. It was my first time there. In toronto it' always a red box. If I was disabled I would have never seen it. You guys were closed when i retuned the van. Service was great. Thanks.

I am happy with the services at this location but was not happy with the gas consumption of the vehicle I rented. I only travelled 59 km but when I was at 30km, the gas gauge indicated I used more than an 1/8th already. When I put in $20 of gas to return the vehicle, the gauge barely moved so I put in more fuel then it jumped to 1/2 full. I travelled less than 5 km from the gas station to U-haul and the gauge went down to 3/8. I think there is something wrong with the gas gauge because I feel like it is not registering the gas level properly. I won't recommend this vehicle to a friend.

Anticipate busy hours based on historical data and have U-Haul team members available to help speed up over-the-counter service at peek times. Even with the slightly long wait for service, it was an excellent and professional experience.

The staff at UHaul were great! ... There was an issue with the original truck and they had to exchange it on the day of pick up. They were kind enough to add a day to the return, which was greatly appreciated! Return in Calgary went smoothly. Overall, a positive experience.

I waited in line to return because I know I had a credit if 20 % and the lady at the desk said the guy outside would help me settle the bill. The guy outside just took the trailer back and did nothing with the billing reconciliation. I'm pretty sure U-Haul still owes me money from my rental.

I had to drive quite a ways to get the dolly after my son's car broke down on the Coqihala near Hope BC. The closest one was in Kelowna so having more stick available at all locations would be helpful. Hope was open but I could not get in touch with anyone at the location.

Easier drop off would be nice. The area in front of the store where equipment is supposed to be dropped off, was plugged up with vehicles, trucks and vans. So I turned around and went directly to the yard to drop the trailer. Unfortunately there was no attendant, so I walked into the store and told them I returned the trailer. The counter person logged the trailer returned, but no one checked that I had in fact returned the trailer. I just think there should be a easier way to returned.

The young lady at the counter was very friendly. I would have liked to have someone at the truck to explain how things worked - from the ramp and the shutter to the fuel gauge and the air conditioning, as this was my first time renting a truck.

My only issue is the drop off area. If it is busy, I have to wait for vehicles blocking the way to move. This is frustrating when it's slow.

The vehicle had a flat tire, and I needed to immediately go put air in it, the vehicle also was less fuel than expected; 1/8th of a tank of gas but I was requested to bring it back with 1/4 tank seems odd.

We reserved a furniture dolly yet there was none available when we picked up the rental. This is unacceptable!! They said they have a limited amount and first come first serve..WRONG! If you allow for reservation of it than it should be available. It's an easy fix, only allow so many to be reserved. This cost us a lot of time and extra money. NOT IMPRESSED!!

It's a good thing we took pictures of the truck. in the inside of the truck half of the cover of the steering wheel shaft was missing. We took pictures of it and sent it back like we were supposed to and when we return the truck four hours later, the guy asked us if we did that. I don't know how they can send their equipment out this way? They say if it's marked with an X not to worry about it but if not, take a picture of it I seriously took about 15 pictures.. I can understand dance in the truck, but for half the steering wheel shaft to be missing is a little much.

When I dropped off the truck at the drop off location outside the building. The staff member was a young lady who was knowledgable and efficient and great to deal with. She explained to me how it worked sorted out my final invoice.

Where to start initial fuel reading was wrong, terms of contract were not described properly, reservation system is out of wack, employees do not know how to use the system. Mis guided and I'll recommended. Will actively inform friends and family to avoid at all costs.

This was my first time using ahaul truck and uhaul tow dolley. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful in guiding me through the process. I found the experience disorganized. Additionally, my morning got off to a bad start as I received a VM the night before saying my equipment was available at my "preferred location". However, when I arrived at my preferred location (Findlay), I was told my equipment was at the Enterprise location. I mentioned this to associates at both the Findlay and Enterprise location, and no one cared about this feedback. No apology, or even a "thank for letting us know..."

Staff were friendly, prompt and working as hard as they could, the issue is the location is much to small for the size of the town! You need at least one more checkin counter with someone working at it. I arrived 5 minutes before opening and and 21 people in front of me and within 10 minutes I had 12 more behind me.

Drop off was very congested. Trailer return was difficult due to so many rental trucks blocking the drive through. Had to back up in a very tight spot and drop off in a different location at the site. However, staff were excellent in responding and making it right.

I have only good things to say about my time with your UHaul facility. The staff were wonderful yesterday when I moved out, assuring me not to worry, they'd have the lock cut off by the time my movers arrived. And they did! You keep the facility so clean. I'm impressed. I'm Mr. Clean's wife, so it takes lots to impress me in that department:-) Thanks for giving me the opportunity to store my treasures in such a quality storage unit. Doreen

Making the online reservation was simple and straightforward but when we arrived to pickup our truck. We were given the keys and told our 2 reserved 'furniture dolly's' would be brought out to us. When the customer service rep brought the dolly's out, he said they were all out of the furniture dolly's and they could give us tiny dolly's (about 12"x14", definitely not capable of moving large furniture) or 2 regular dolly's free of charge. We reluctantly took the 2 regular dolly's, but knew they likely wouldn't be capable of moving dressers, sofas, etc., and we were right, they were completely useless. This significantly impacted our move, as we ended up having to carry every single piece of furniture by hand and things were VERY HEAVY and hard on the back. The worst part was that we were told we wouldn't be charged for the dolly's but when we received the email receipt, we were charged the full rental amount for 2 dolly's. Will definitely be going back to uhaul tomorrow to sort that out. VERY unimpressed by the incredible inconvenience, extra hassle and back pain, that the lack of furniture dolly's (that we had PRE-BOOKED!!) caused for our move. Rated this location as 'Average' due to this. Why didn't someone contact us in advance to tell us our dolly's weren't available and/or why did someone book out the dolly's we had already reserved???

Adapt the electric connection so there doesn't need to be an adapter, or make sure it's not forgotten during hook up. Not huge, but a slight hassle and this would streamline things

I was on holidays in Kelowna when my storage became unavailable do to my daughter's move. I reached out to U-Haul and they offered me FREE storage for the duration of my two week holiday and a U-Haul trailer to take my furniture home. I highly recommend, kind, courteous staff.

This was a one way rental from Ontario to BC and when I picked up the truck and trailer I was told i would be credited at destination for unused km's and days, i returned it 5 days early and over 1000km under what was included. I was denied any refund or credit for anything and was informed by both the return location and uhaul head office customer service that no such credit exists for one way rentals and the pick location lied to me. So now they can rent out the truck and trailer again and double dip on charges. Uhaul corporate was no help and said that "every renter should read out the entire policy over the phone to corporate when picking up the rental to ensure it is accurate". Uhaul Canada reminds me of when I served overseas and every 3rd world street vendor is trying to scam you.

The staff are very helpful and the place is definitely well maintained. When I was there yesterday there was a guy mopping the walls! You need a long handle to get the top bits lol. There's always someone scooting around checking the lot too. As for storage spots, my first experience with Uhaul, I wasn't thrilled with the building I was in, only 2 parking bays. My 2nd has been great. Large bays for parking and room for several vehicles at once. The rental prices are very good too. I was at a much more time expensive facility and they were the ones who recommended I give Uhaul another try.

The Elevator to the second floor sucks it takes way to long for the door to open. This should be addressed and fixed asap. Nobody has time to wait for an elevator door to take as long as it does. Constant alarms going off, enough to drive a good customer crazy.

I was in a real tight spot. I live in another city now but still had most of my belongings at my daughter's here, in Kelowna. Her landlord had announced to her that she is selling the house so within 2 weeks my daughter found a small condo to move into. I needed storage fast and I needed to get my belongings to my new town! U-Haul not only offered me an affordable trailer for my van but a hitch also and what really put me over the edge with gratitude was free storage for the two weeks while I was still in town. Amazing! The young lady who served me was so kind and understanding…. a big shout out to Harkirat Saini she is wonderful… I gave her a big hug as I was so emotional!!

I would have given five stars if the monthly storage fee wasn't so expensive. For the smallest storage space you're looking at nearly $100 a month and the elevator is sooooo slow. They could make logging in easier with an electronic device tapping system instead of having to remember a password that has random numbers you don't get to choose yourself.

I called the Kelowna office to book a vehicle on Sunday, Feb 25th, 2024. It rang and rang and rang many times. It then went to a fax machine, blasting through the phone. I then called again and someone picked up. I asked about booking a 10' truck for Monday. I was rudely told that they had no trucks and then when I replied that I was booking for Monday, I realized that they had already hung up. I was upset, but then I called West Kelowna and received a much nicer individual who helped me book a truck for Monday to my satisfaction. I understand staff get busy, but I was bothered by the rudeness. I can handle it, but I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Also, I have booked many times through Uhaul and been pleased with your service, but this is the first time to my knowledge that I have been asked to fill out a survey, which I'm happy to do. The staff at West Kelowna and the gentleman I booked storage through in Kelowna both deserve to be appreciated. Merci.

This winter was a very difficult one my storage locker got flooded.i did not really see how much damage there was until further inspection.its close to a 30 % loss.in any event mother natures fault.not uhauls fault.uhaul on enterprise were extremely professional they contacted me within minutes of this happening.they are very great people the management at enterprise uhaul are first class thankyou folks.you are the very best.please don't forget it.always.mr.ty.watts.kelowna British columbia.

The unit it self was awesome.The hallways inside the building were rough and bumpy making it difficult to transport items in and out without falling off the carts.The alarm system screamed every ten minutes every time we were in .Very annoying when trying sort out items.

It was great, the directions were clear, the only criticism would be that I didn't realize each unit was alarmed and the reasoning behind the access code. When door opened I thought I didn't need to use it and promptly set off the alarm. Otherwise, it was great.

The uhaul brand locks force sold to renters are junk. The arbor only moves with the key; 1 out of 12 times turning said key, if you're lucky. The anti-homeless alarm goes off every 5 minutes which is particularly difficult for ny autistic son to deal with while we worked . The thing might keep 2 people a year from living in there, and drives EVERY SINGLE customer nuts. The thing doesn't even need to go off during business hours. The elevator is the most latently acting unit I've ever seen. The doors close after 2 seconds while you struggle to race your carts inside.. which is amazing because they take 4 seconds to open again All this, after a year and a half of dealing with what was sold to me as a 10x20 drive up unit .. and turned out to be 2 - 10x10 units accessible only by elevator. When you exit the "drive up" area, you have to do half-lap around what was once a Semi Truck factory thru various other compound before driving past the door you entered at. Don't get me started on UHauls practice of insuring all vehicles out of Arizona.

besides renting a truck back in July 23 and being charged over $500 for a half day rental of a 15 ft truck to switching storage unit from 15 ft to 10 ft it was a hassle as the staff at the Kelowna outlet are very inept. Too bad that uhaul kind of has a monopoly on rentals in Canada because if they didn't i gladly would go elsewhere

I have back and forth with the UHaul in Kelowna on Enterprise. They have been more than helpful. I have rented big trucks and 1/2 ton pick ups and they have always been very helpful. When I needed storage I was able to get a month free and then I downsized within a couple of months into a smaller unit and it was about 10' from my original, so I have a smile on my face.

Please allow me to explain... not all staff were unfriendly or unhelpful but majority of the interactions I had with staff ended in me being more upset. I had told this specific uhaul that I needed my payment dates moved to the 20th of every month,yet they still drew money out on a day they weren't supposed to resulting in nsf fees and late charges. Access to the unit was a pain too. They put locks on my storage even after arrangements had been made and partial payments were approved... not to mention my access code didnt work and the alarm went off every 30 seconds... so good on them for having alarms, but figure it out. When I called they said I just had to "ignore it". Uhaul in general has helped me out in the past , but i almost always get the run around no matter what uhaul I go to. I feel as though all staff need more training, and hours should be more accessible to people that work until 6 pm or later. The units should be accessible until 11 pm especially when there are access codes given..

Only complaint is once moved to the smaller unit in the other building #4157 the door slide does not align and could take up to 30 minutes to lock. Other clients are helping each other so I was not the only one having trouble trying to lock and leave. Staff was always excellent to deal with. Merci
