The original pickup location that I booked was in Orchard Park. Then I was transferred to pickup at Broadway Ready - a convenience store which was closed when I arrived. I had to call UHaul and be transferred to the Genesee street location. This was very stressful and delayed me by an hour. The Genessee location was great and this was not their fault. It was UHaul’s which poorly handled scheduling my pickup location.

I pre-registered 3 days ahead of time and requested a very much needed appliance dolly. But when I picked up the truck no appliance dolly was there. I had to make do with a standard dolly which made my move much more difficult. But the place was very clean and the employees professional and congenial. I would definitely rent there again.

the only problem I have is the reading of the gas fulfillment. The paper gauge reading for gas should match the gas gauge on the equipment rented. ie.., (E------1/4------1/2-----F).

I made a reservation several days in advance using the share feature. I received emails and texts confirming the reservation. When I got to the site and tried to use my phone for pickup as instructed, I got a message saying no vehicle had been assigned for my reservation and I needed to go inside. When I went in I had to wait while the one person on duty (the manager) waited on two customers ahead of me causing me to be late for an appointment. When I went to return the vehicle there were several customers waiting, more coming in and only two people on duty, one of whom was making mistakes and his incompetence was confirmed by the other (the manager). Again, I had a long wait. I will not be using this location again.

After an awful experience at another location it was refreshing to work with the staff at this site. The guy who checked me in took the time to call corporate and accommodate the last minute change, the one cleaning the other trucks stopped what he was doing to help me on my way, and when I pulled back in I wasn't even parked and they were helping me check in. After the terrible experience I had earlier I'm the day at a different location, I can't say enough of how nice and helpful this team is. They fully restored my opinion of uhaul and you should be proud to have them represent you.

return was a horrid event. they could not check in the truck. flinch in computer. an employee is cussing. had to stay over 40 minutes they could not resolve the truck issue. I have made a complaint against the incidents and await from CEO. we requested our refund back. this was unacceptable

There was a guy continually outside cleaning and putting the trucks in perfect line. The manager, was very professional and he should be teaching new managers and staff at all your locations. The manager and crew he has there are perfect at the 1400 Genesee Street, Buffalo,NY location. No improvements needed!

Truck was dirty, One of the headlights were out and than the truck broke down. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes i finally was able to put in a request for roadside assistance online. Yes I tried online but the site wouldn't let me put in the correct address. After trying the website on 3 phones, 1 Tablet and finally A desktop i was able to complete my request. Than had to wait for them to show up. I had to pay my movers for an extra 2 hours, because of this break down.

I have used this location numerous times for moving over the years and I have never had a problem until this past weekend. I reserved for 8/17/2019 @ 930AM w/confirmation emails a 26" Truck for 6 hours. When I arrived at 930AM they did not have the truck that I reserved available and they had nothing available because everything else was booked. They told me I could wait around for the next batch of reserved truck times to see if anyone wouldn't show up (he told me they have an hour then they cancel reservations). I explained to him I couldn't wait that long because I have hired movers coming at 10AM and I only paid for 3 hours. He said there was nothing he could do because the person who was supposed to return the 26' Truck I reserved didn't return it. While he helped another customer I got on the phone with UHAUL's customer service 1-800-468-4285 to which they stated there was a 20' Truck available at the Perry Street UHAUL location. At this point I would have taken anything because I had movers coming and I just needed something. I received a confirmation text for pick up at 1015AM at Perry Street. When I arrived there it was brought to my attention that again they did not have a truck available for me and the reservation that was put in by the customer service representative was for 5PM. The gentlemen at Perry Street told me to file a complaint. I went back to the original reservation, they still couldn't help me. So I rescheduled for today 8/21/2019, thankfully the movers were accommodating and changed my date without charging me for such a late cancellation, even stating that they have recently had a lot of issues with UHAUL so they weren't surprised. Today went off fine just disappointed overall because unfortunately I had to work today so I had to have someone else take care of my move, which shouldn't have been because it should have been done on Saturday the 17th my original reservation date.

You weren't clear in the booking process. I started by calling the location near my house (main street). I booked a truck with a live operator and no mention was made of my having to pick up the truck at a different location. So I had to drive an extra 10 miles to pick up the truck which added to the total miles and wasted time on a four hour move. She asked if I wanted a dolly and I said yes. she said there were several sizes and I settled on a furniture dolly. She said there was one for appliances and one for furniture, so I settled on a furniture dolly. I assumed "dolly" meant a hand truck. I was given the useless floor dolly which I have never seen before and they didn't have any hand trucks left. I think your sales people should explain the difference. It meant I had to drive to a relative's house to get one and wasted more miles and time. I would not have been able to move the piece without a hand truck. I plan to put negative reviews everywhere I can find online. It was a miserable experience.

Was not greeted when entering the building. The employee took 5 mins to realize we were there due to being on his cell phone watching the nba game. Only reason known that was because my husband joked with him about it. Then when I had asked him about charges he handed me sheets of paper and said this well tell you everything you need to know. Then when we went to get the trailer the employee did not properly hook it up. He did not plug in the lights of attach it right to the ball hitch on my truck. My husband had to do it. Last was when we asked where do we drop it off when we bring it back they said same place we got it. Now i know that was not true. So when we got back the store was closed there were many returned trailers and tow dollies so we left it with all of them. I would never use that location again. Ive been to several locations in the area and this was far by the worst customer service i had with your company. Yes i would return but not to that location.

The poor office staff had no air conditioning. There was a backup in customer service bc one staff member was late. The man working alone when we first got there on 7/10/19, was OUTSTANDING, knowledgeable, personable, and doing his best to help everyone even thoigh his co-worker was at least an hour (probably more) late. I wish I knew his name.

This is by far the worst location. I would give it negative zero star. Not only was there hardly any gas, the U-Haul was dirty, didn't give us the right car dolly (almost damaged the car when getting it off, due to wrong size) & no furniture dolly was given to us. The service was very poor. Lack of training. The lay out of the inside is not flowing. Cleanliness is very much needed. Please look into this location U-Haul Cooperate. Thank you.
