The online vs in person information was vastly different. My reservation was changed by someone at the call center, and then the in-person guy told me he didn't know why they changed it but at that point it was impossible to get my original request back. I ended up with a piece of equipment that was harder to move and not what I wanted. The person in line next to me was having the same issue. I have no issue with the person who was assisting me, though he did seem to be taking my frustration personally when it was with Uhaul in general. It should be more widely stated that the best guarantee of getting the equipment you want is to go in person to the uhaul pickup location to make the reservation.Emma C.

We were told to return the truck to the same spot, regardless of how far we had to go to move. Told us we couldn't keep it an extra day , so we went out of our way to return it, just to see that they charged us for another day and took the truck back. This is the 2nd time they have charged for 2 days at this location after we returned the truck when they told us to. When we arrived there, there was another lady inside the store screaming about a similar situation. Very dissatisfied and will not recommend or refer this location to anyone.Pam M.

No improvements needed! This location is incredible! We used it for numerous services - rental of a truck, u-box loading, trailer rental and installation of wires for a hitch. The staff are incredible, the manager amazingly friendly and helpful, he bent over backwards to ensure we had all that we needed. These u-haul centers are busy and there are so many things that people are asking for and needing especially in the summer months and he was so kind especially when we realized we didn't have the wiring for a trailer. He took the time to fix it so that we could leave when we had planned.....eternally grateful. Thank you to all the staff and to this U-haul location....so grateful we have it nearby. Can't recommend this location enough.....go here if you want your moving experience to be happy and less stressful!Juliet S.
Had the hitch initially installed on 6/28. The first time I went to use it (600 miles from home), it came detached on one side and the nearby uhaul location noted that it was improperly installed (third bolt on that side either wasn't installed or not tightened properly). The GM of this location apologized profusely and fixed it himself (while I watched). He noted that the installer was no longer there and that there were other issues with his work that they had had to sort out. I wouldn't say I'm happy with the experience overall, but I am satisfied that they fixed the issue when we brought it back. At least being a national company, I was able to take it to a nearby location for getting it patched up enough to get home (though not enough to haul a trailer). Roadside assistance was required and other arrangements had to be made for transporting the things that I rented the trailer for (I got a refund on the trailer rental).Matthew L.
Location was on a busy street, there was construction. We waited a while for the truck, then we were rushed off the lot before we could even finish confirming the state of the rental with pictures. Construction workers were rude and yelling, traffic was reduced to one lane.Dylan K.

Was told that we had to return the truck back to Lebanon NH. because they said they did not get many like that. It would have been closer and easier to return to Rutland VT. I was under the impression that you could return to a location nearest The destination, If you go online you are given a choice as to where you want to return the rental vehicle? It added unnecessary cost for mileage and was very inconvenient. As we have relatives in Rutland that was going to pick up the driver. Thanks for asking.. ScottPam M.

My hitch on my 2022 Kona was improperly installed! I It is suppose to have 4 mounting bolts and only 3 where installed! It does not appear the bolts provided with the hitch had been used. In less then a week the hitch started to vibrate and has dropped out of position and is no longer at the correct angle. Installation was done by someone who had no clue what they were doing. Didn't have size truck available that we needed. Gave us a trailer to make up for it but it was not equivalent to what we needed. Daughter ended up getting another uhaul bc it did not all fit. We had reserved this week's abs weeks before and they called us the day before we were to pick it up to tell us they didn't have it. They said they would not charge us for the trailer but then tried to but the woman working at the desk changed it. It was a fiasco and made our moving that much harder. One way moving mileage should be allowed more than 68 miles. They expected us to come back and get the trailer after we packed the truck. This would have added miles to our trip which we would have ultimately had to pay for but wouldn't have to if we just had the original truck. And updating your system with picks of dents and dings should be on your customer's to do. You should be responsible to know what damage was done previouslyBraedon V.

Update your software. You do not have trailers that people need. Your computer system says you do. I for one, wanted a 5x9 open ramp trailer and reserved one. Went to pick it up the next day. Don't have one available. So I got charged the extra money and insurance for a 6x12. Don't feel that I should have been charged the extra. And i cleaned out the trailer mysef after i got done using it. Plus, I waited for about 45 minutes for the counter persons to figure out what is going on.. I have rented trailers from them in the past, not going to again. Taking my business elsewhere. There were other people upset also. Don't charge the customers extra, we have enough to pay out on other stuff we need!Mark H.

On my way there, 30 minutes in, I got a phone call and was told that location was closed and I had to pick up the truck in Hanover at 3pm. This storage facility is the best. I have used others in the past and none come close to U-haul. I have storage my belongings for 6 years there and previously years ago.. The code we were given with the online check-in process didn't work, and the woman manning the desk had no idea how to fix it. She found another woman who tried to fix it and couldn't. Then they asked another man who worked there who tried to give me a key card and the key card wouldn't work. So I went back and waited with my stuff (and crew of people who were helping unload the truck) until they got me a keycard that could access the place where my unit was. On to the unit. The storage unit we were given was marketed as a 10 x 15, but when we arrived there was a massive square removed from it (for I'm assuming stairs to the upstairs). For 200 dollars a month I was expecting (and needed) a full 10 x 15 storage unit. Very disappointed about this.Stephanie R. | Online Move In

Hard to get your stuff into, must walk up stairs then down stairs to get to the unit. Massive conveyor belt makes it easier to get stuff down but dangerous for kids. It was clean.Emily O. | Réservation
