I was VERY disappointed in uhaul. I have worked with this company several times and I am highly unlikely to use it again. The people answering the corporate phone number seemed to try however the people in New Hampshire; Lebanon, Bradford and traffic control, were rude, unhelpful and unclear. I made NUMEROUS calls to try and coordinate the end of contract and hit wall after wall after wall. Listen to the calls all of them. eventually Tim who identified himself as the NH traffic manager promised me (call on Saturday 9/17) that my boxes would leave Bradford on Tuesday morning at 8 am and he would call me. Mickey the manager from Lebanon claimed I could call him as well. Tim did not call. The boxes did not leave until almost 930 am and Mickey didn't answer. this was unnecessary stress for me. the complete failure to communicate within your company is inexcusable. PS I tried to use the online link and it did not work, repeatedly. The entire experience was painful, unnecessary, sloppy and lazy. Although I am sure I will move again, I can not imagine using uhaul again. very very disappointed.Danielle P.

First, give people accurate information about where their Ubox is going to be. I was told my box was going to get shipped to a different location but is actually got stored at Lebanon. When I went to the office to inquire about getting my box delivered because I was told on the phone it would cost almost $300 to ship it to my new location, that is when I found out it never left Lebanon, the staff their were a bunch of children that were extremely immature, throwing things at each other, playing on their phones and were extremely disorganized. One lady was able to help me finally figure out where my box was and helped me schedule to bring it out of their storage, which I scheduled for 9:00am. 2 weeks later I went to that location and arrived just after 9am and was told they hadn't taken it out of storage yet, when I asked how long it would take the man said about an hour. I expressed that was unacceptable since I scheduled it for 9am and it would be after 10 when my things would be ready and I only had the rental truck until noon and still had an hour drive. Another worker said he would get on it right away. It still took about 20 minutes for him to get my box out of the storage. I asked the first man why it wasn't ready by 9 and he said because sometimes people don't show up at all and then it gets rained on. Before leaving most of the employees were outside standing around a couple of motorcycles and socializing with some other people that showed up. I walked inside and checked out and suggested to the woman that helped me to call customers an hour or so ahead of their reservation to confirm their arrival time to avoid this issue. On my way back outside I said the same thing to the man that told me it would be an hour wait. His face expressed he hadn't thought of that before.Hannah H.
The person checking out the truck to us had the paperwork all wrong, wrong mileage etc and it had to be re-done. He looked young. The cabin smelt like cigarette smoke bad. Overall we would rent again from this location, just hope the paperwork is in order next time.LEONARD P.

No one was assisting customers returning rentals. The person was was supposed to be doing that was cleaning the windows of vehicles and told another customer that he was going to finish that before he would check us in. The line of trucks and trailers waiting to be returned was backed up into the road. Inside a few other employees were having a loud conversation complaining about who has worked more hours lately while a line of customers were waiting to be helped. I ultimately found an employee working in the garage and he helped check me in. He was very nice and helpful.Matthew C.

When I rented the 9 foot cargo van, Olivia got me started, she was so sweet and everything was very straightforward and simple. When I returned the Van, I dealt with Jeremy Jackson. I was so exhausted, and again he not only made the return pleasurable because he was so personable, but he was also very fair. He didn't try to con me like had happened in the past. He was quick and very understanding that I was exhausted and rushed to make the sale quick, while making sure I understood every individual charge. I would absolutely recommend this location because of the staff that made a very stressful time a little bit more tolerable. :-)chelsea N.

Made my reservation a month in advance. I called 5 days before to confirm it and everything was all set. I then received a phone call from the general manager that I missed in which he asked me to call back. I tried to return the call for 2 days and no one responded until I went in myself the following day where I was told my reservation was bumped to a smaller truck which wouldn't work. I then had to wait for a truck over 8 hours after my original reservation. This meant my move ended at 2am and I still had to pay $160 .Logan W.

They received the truck and told us that they would send us the bill. I never received an emialed bill, however I did find it on my U Haul account. Everything went very well. We had left our EZ Pass there, and they found it and returned it to us- very helpful.eric K.

Uhaul changed our pick up spot. Which was an hour and half further away. We were driving through the night from NC to southern NH to pick up my 85 year old mother and her stuff. To move her to NC. Moving the pick up place on us added 3 more hours after a 16 hour trip. Plus even after we called and talked to them 3 times on our way, they canceled our reservation 3 minutes before our 3:00 pick up. NOT RIGHT!!! Upon return, the employees misread my fuel gauge and charged me for gas despite the fact that I had filled the van with more gas than would have been required. The online vs in person information was vastly different. My reservation was changed by someone at the call center, and then the in-person guy told me he didn't know why they changed it but at that point it was impossible to get my original request back. I ended up with a piece of equipment that was harder to move and not what I wanted. The person in line next to me was having the same issue. I have no issue with the person who was assisting me, though he did seem to be taking my frustration personally when it was with Uhaul in general. It should be more widely stated that the best guarantee of getting the equipment you want is to go in person to the uhaul pickup location to make the reservation.Emma C.

We were told to return the truck to the same spot, regardless of how far we had to go to move. Told us we couldn't keep it an extra day , so we went out of our way to return it, just to see that they charged us for another day and took the truck back. This is the 2nd time they have charged for 2 days at this location after we returned the truck when they told us to. When we arrived there, there was another lady inside the store screaming about a similar situation. Very dissatisfied and will not recommend or refer this location to anyone.Pam M.

This storage facility is the best. I have used others in the past and none come close to U-haul. I have storage my belongings for 6 years there and previously years ago.. The staff is friendly , always willing to help. The storage areas themselves are immaculate. The hallways glow as well as the units themselves. Cleanliness is amazing . The code we were given with the online check-in process didn't work, and the woman manning the desk had no idea how to fix it. She found another woman who tried to fix it and couldn't. Then they asked another man who worked there who tried to give me a key card and the key card wouldn't work. So I went back and waited with my stuff (and crew of people who were helping unload the truck) until they got me a keycard that could access the place where my unit was. On to the unit. The storage unit we were given was marketed as a 10 x 15, but when we arrived there was a massive square removed from it (for I'm assuming stairs to the upstairs). For 200 dollars a month I was expecting (and needed) a full 10 x 15 storage unit. Very disappointed about this.Stephanie R. | Online Move In

Hard to get your stuff into, must walk up stairs then down stairs to get to the unit. Massive conveyor belt makes it easier to get stuff down but dangerous for kids. It was clean.Emily O. | Réservation
