I wanted to reserve in Warner Robins GA to make it a one way trip to avoid additional mileage charges which meant I would drive there. This location assured me that the final price would be approximately 140 $. I was charged 209 $. It seems that profits came before customer service.DARRELL B.

Make sure you all have proper equipment and gas is on 1/2 a tank not empty to the point it started to smoke. The headlights were out and when I called, the woman at the uhaul call center said as long as it's not the engine smoking it's fine and rushed me off the phone. I was told that the person that set up my rental when I picked up the UHaul charged my card twice. So clearly there are some training issues. Not only did he run it as credit, he ran it as debit. I had to call to extend my rental time and was told multiple times that I wouldn't be charged for it and, surprising to no one, I was charged for a second day when I returned the UHaul. This is actually the 3rd time I've had to go into the building after returning my rental for this kind of issue. Additionally, when I picked up my rental, there was visible (significant) damage on the turning light (front driver side), passenger mirror, both skirts were dented in, the latch on the gate was "sticky" (in that it was difficult to impossible to close at times), and both sides were significantly scraped up. But when you don't have a choice, what do you do? If there was a closer alternative, I would take it immediately.CHALLIS K.

This young man Chris who rent rented me the van was very nice, respectful and knowledgeable.. The van however was filthy, when I brought it to his attention he offered to clean it or give me another one which I should have taken.I was in a rush, it was close to closing and I had a deadline to meet. When I got on the road I detected a foul odor in the cargo van, bad enough to make me nauseous.. I had to travel with the Windows open.Michael W.
Staff could not find my updated drop off info on their computer, and said that I was missing the dolly. I had to show them the reimbursement receipt to prove that I did not rent one. All-in-all they were good with the info that they had.Barry M.

Customer service is needed- and it is just for one agent. The lady agent I spoke with on September 22nd around 7:50 am was very rude and condescending. I had an issue with returning my equipment through self service . The lady talked to me like I was a burden to the company, like I was asking for free services with a disrespectful tone. She hang up on me while I was about to ask for a supervisor. Then I called back like 5 to 6 times and she dis not pick up the phone at all.SUNRIS D.

What's the point of reserving equipment if no one can guarantee it being available? I've gotten phone calls that the desired location didn't have equipment, only to be moved back to that same location for pickup. I started renting here about 2008 so it's been 13 years. Over that time this facility has changed from being clean and well run to being dirty (especially at the loading dock). There is also a stink inside the facility that covers about 1/3 of the downstairs which has been present at least for the past 4-5 months. Something is inside one of the units that indicates decay of some type. The managers don't seem to be concerned. I was also promised security to the facility in the beginning, but that no longer applies. The door is always open and my access card is no longer needed. Access to the loading dock is usually limited to only one vehicle on the steep side because U-Haul trucks are parked too close to allow a second vehicle to back up to the dock. It's a bad situation to need to be there and not be able to pull a vehicle close. The high tent installed to accommodate returning rented trucks is too close to the turning point where you need to circle near the loading dock. If a vehicle is parked in one of the spaces on the corner of the loading dock, it makes it nearly impossible to pull a pickup truck through. Bottom line is this is a poorly run, badly maintained, and improperly designed facility. I would not rent here again. There are several other options in the area which are all better.CHARLES F. Since 1986 I've been a member of U-Haul I have always had Exceptionable help From any U-Haul storage employee. Vehicle has prior damage that was not indicated on the photos during checkout. Completed checkout and check-in myself. Checkout was to much like work that should have been preformed by the employees not the customer. I always use u haul, but this made me want to go elsewhere. I had a great experience there. Everybody was really pleasant and professional. Nice workmanship by the installer. The reason I didn't quite give an excellent rating is because I tried to call and confirm my appointment, and was told I'd have to wait 12 minutes to talk to someone. So I drove over, and went back 90 minutes later only to find the wrong part had been ordered. It wasn't a huge deal for me to wait another couple of hours, but that all should have been sorted out before I ever got there.Doug Z.

The staff was excellent! The truck was clean and functioned well, but the accumulation of damage from previous rentals had not been repaired. This included a cracked windshield, damage to the lower body of the truck box, as well as damage to the fenders, and front bumpers on both sides. The damage is unsightly, and a is a disincentive to new renters to take good care of the truck. If it is U-haul policy not to repair cosmetic damage to vehicles (including cracked windshields), I believe this is a counterproductive policy.STEPHEN F.

I was very upset with this Location!! I had book a truck for a 2 day local move. When I arrived I asked for a quote to drive the truck to Florida I was told over a thousand dollars which not in my budget because I had just spent a lot of money purchasing a new homeThe general manager Rodrigo Guerrero would not change the quote that his work Sarah had messed up I had to call corporate which I was on the phone an hour and was charged 1 000 $deposit because they felt that I could be a flight risk with their U-Haul!!! Also the representative on the one 800 number kept questioning me if I was going to take the U-Haul to Florida just tell her !! I was very insulted and embarrassed by the whole incident !! The truck was returned on time Monday morning in perfect condition and I was charged 100 $. I had to use a credit card unnecessarily and put 1 000 $on it I would not recommend this location the way I was treated they employees need to be replaced or re-trained immediately! I hope there's a follow up to this incident now that I'm putting a review and I also called corporate to make a complaint!TAMMI B.

The young man who reserved my unit was friendly, professional, and helpful. However, the young lady who checked me in was indifferent, unfriendly and unengaging. She neither smiled nor thanked me for my service. Additionally the office area is much too cluttered and hazardous and the loading dock platform had jagged something or other hanging around the edge in some areas and there were loose rocks in the parking lot near the front, which one of my helpers almost tripped over. These issues lower the rating considerably for my experience and made me reconsider using the more professional, safer, and convenient higher priced Extra Storage Space.Doris W. | Premières impressions

We were told that we would receive a prorated reimbursement due to moving out at the end of the month but not getting to the facility to turn in the card before the next draft occurred. Now, a manager is saying that's not how things work but the representative confirmed that he told us this. The location is secure but my gosh, it smells like a dead animal in there. The second unit - which I had booked online - had no lock inside as promised according to the rep. When I went to the office, I realized I needed an additional (3rd) unit. The rep decided it was more important for her to sell me my third unit and THEN charge me for a lock, rather than to inform me that I would get a free lock if I stood there and booked the unit online. If there were a star rating below 1 I will rate it as that. This storage facility have no type of loading and unloading space. Every time I went there were no parking, there was always an odor very horrible, it smelled like death. The employees there seem to be all young and playful (speaking only on the young ladies).
