I love UHAUL!!! My family has been using uhaul since I was a little girl!!! The rental rates are affordable and there is plenty of truck sizes to rent. Uhaul has sooo many convenient locations. My favorite location is THIS ONE: 282 LYNNWAY, Lynn MA. The manager, Alex Bartolo, is awesome!! He makes it a point to provide each and every customer with exceptional customer service!! He also remembered my name!!! Wow!!! I was impressed that he remembered my name. I truly felt appreciated as a loyal customer.. MAINTENANCE REQUEST: I would like to report a maintenance concern on the cargo van I rented. I had a hard time opening the left back door. There is a big lump on the bumper that stops the door from opening. I did NOT want to break the door so we had to use the side door to load things into the van which made it extra work and harder!! Please fix the bumper under the left disclosure door so the next customer does not have this issue. I STILL highly recommend this LOCATION & UHAUL!! I am always happy with my rental.. Whenever I need tape, boxes, moving pads and dollies, Uhaul always has plenty for rental/purchase. Plus Uhaul offers onsite rental storages. Keep up the great job!!!

Alex was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I picked up my trailer on Friday, and was having trouble with it sitting right and jarring. Went back by there Saturday on the way out of town and he looked at it for me and realized it was sitting too low and raised the mount for me. Exceptional service.

The store opened roughly 90 minutes late, setting me behind on moving out my apartment. And the truck that i was driving felt like it had a blown transmisson.

First, I went into the store before 7pm walked in to drop off the truck and the employee said “ oh we’re closed” didn’t even have the courtesy to help me. I think their was still enough time to help me and leave considering the store closes at 7 and not before 7. I said fine, went to do self check out and couldn’t because on top of that he took the keys and dropped them in the keybox. Next day I see I was double charged and hNd to take time to go back to the store to get a refund. Thank god their was a very polite lady who helped me and made sure everything was all set. If the first employee was to take 5 minutes to help me It would’ve avoid everything else that cake after and I would’ve been a very satisfied customer. Instead he looked like he was on drugs and definitely shouldn’t be a front face for customers.

i rented a 10 foot truck and was old. back sliding door was difficult to close, i needed 2 people to get it close. everything else is fine.

My pickup experience was terrible. The online checkin didn’t work completely. My 9am pick up was delayed 45 minutes. The truck was not ready when I arrived and they only had half the equipment I rented. The return went smoothly. The man working Sunday morning was helpful, efficient and informative. He help me refund the missing equipment without a problem.

I am not happy with the attention received at the time of returning the vehicle since they did not even register the return because what they are charging me an extra day even when I return the next day to explain what had happened separately for two quarts of gasoline they are charging 40 dollars

The staff there look disorganized. There must have been an issue with their system, so there where multiple conversations being had while checking in the customer. The young lady at the desk kept referring to me and my father as “love”. So inappropriate for a work setting.

Make sure customers are being charged appropriately. I have been charged 4 times (different amounts) to use a van for two separate days. Probably due to the fact the employees weren’t focused.

I've very, very bad experience. The box where I suppose to find the truck key was broken with no key inside. I lost almost 3 hours, later the crew assignment another truck but when I saw my bank statement u-haul charged me twice. The first truck assignment and the new assignment truck as well...bad experienced.

The whole system was down and it took me about 20+ minutes to get the truck I wanted to rent. I did a reservation online and was hoping to just go in and out, but due to the system being down, I had to wait all that time. The person that was helping me was very nice, polite and professional. But the system being down was just a really bad experience.

The girl working the counter was Fantastic. She was the only person working and it was very busy and she had to use her cell phone to process everyone's service due to the computer system being down and even with all this was going on she remained cool, calm and courteous. She explained the order and expedited the line very fast, friendly manner. A++ Service from this girl. I will definitely use this van rental service again.

Verify your contract!! They were in a rush to get you out the door and we ended up being VERY surprised when we returned the truck (one way rental).

The equipement was cleaned only after a request was made to clean, and then was noted as clean. The truck given had a "tire light pressure on" that apparently was because the sensor was out and the manager was extremely rude. He didn't specify after hour check in ONLINE had to be done on the site. He only explained that you had to check the vehicle in on line to note it had been received. When I called to dispute he called me back and said after I explained he didn't say this: "I find it interesting that every time you come into my store there is a problem." This the first time i have seen this manager. He doesn't know me and has NEVER served me before. For a manager to say this is unprofessional and disrrespectful. Will NOT be using this site again. Shame on UHAUL.

I was able to reserve a truck for 7:45am although the u-Haul did not open until 9am, so I sat there for an hour waiting. I ordered 2 dolly’s and furniture covers. When I finally got the truck and left to my destination, I pulled over and realized the equipment was not in the truck and drove back to get it. I was reimbursed for one bag of covers and one dolly because I didn’t need them and my order was .04 more because I went over mileage by 6 miles. I had explained that 2 of those miles are because of the forgotten equipment. Also, it had snowed the night before and I was traveling the highway. Windows were filthy because of roads and there was no windshield fluid in truck. Overall experience was just horrible

The inside of the windshield was washed with a dirty rag, the first time the sun hit the windshield I was blinded by the dirt. The passenger side windshield wiper was bad.

Reserved 20' truck for one-day rental but last one was given to walk-in customer right before I arrived (they were short-staffed - manager was out). Was given 17' truck instead, was told it would be with pre-paid mileage as compensation (smaller truck so had to make two trips to move instead of 1). Two days later, I was charged for the mileage anyway when the contract (#99242593) was closed out. Unacceptable.

First make sure that there are two wiper blade on it the passenger sides had no rubber then make sure heater works no heat at all. Then when I brought the truck back I got numerous texts that the truck was still out in my name then I got a bill three times what it should have been. Talked to customer service three times and ended having to drive back to the place I rented it from which took another hour. Needless to say I’m not very happy with the service

She was incredibly helpful and personable, offering pointers and making recommendations that helped make our experience happen without a hitch. She explained everything in detail, and there were no questions when she was done. She offered her help and gave us contact information for us to contact her any time through check in at the other end. Couldn't ask for more attention to detail! I would highly recommend working with her to anyone looking to have a seamless moving experience. Her friendly greeting and smiling face helped to brighten our day! Thank you so much, Thachira!

The staff person was so professional and had a very calming charm. As I was waiting the customer being served was very unpleasant because she needed to leave a $100.00 on her credit card or provide cash and your staff person was so calm and professional that I in fact complimented him and stated that I have to deal with people everyday and that if I was in his shoes I would if politely told her to leave the store. He smiled and stated that he feels that he must be respectful to everyone and look at it as if she was just having a bad day. I have to be honest with you. If I had any open position I would be seeking him out. He is a true asset to your company.

The storage unit was okay. But the back wall was broken by the adjacent unit's stuff. It was not filthy. The unit itself had no lighting. It was hard to see in. Frustrated to have to buy a new lock.
