So i rented a box truck unit on 8/17/2018. When i picked up the unit, the gas was 1/2 full. I drove for 7 miles an went to put half of a gallon before i returned it an was charge because i didn't return it with full tank. I called an complain that i only put the gas i only used an didnt get the refund.

check trucks better, got stuck on road for 2,5 hrs. because truck battery was dead, couldn't reach u haul help line and ended up calling AAA,Truck was very old and steering was quite sloppy, dangerous on highway at speed

The attendant Josh has great customer service skills on the phone and in person. They definitely need more than one person at the desk waiting on customers however. Customer wait time would be beautifully managed with one more great customer service rep like Josh. A + for how he managed a difficult/irritated customer on the phone and a room full of people waiting.....he deserves a raise. Good people are hard to come by....just thought you could pass along a this word to the powers that be.

Everything was fine, but no better than that; truck was mostly clean, except the storage / big box area of the back, which did not look well-swept and had leftover broken furniture from whoever used it last.

Driving the Uhaul was awful. I went way over the mileage I budgeted for before side swiping something. I walked into uhaul to return the vehicle and equipment very fearful since i did not have the money for this. Tricia calmed me down & assured me what was important was that I was ok. She offered several options to fix this situation. Bottom line if not for Tricia I probably would have continued to have a horrible moving wknd but her compation patience & knowledge of the situation really made a difference. Thanks so much Tricia, you really turned my moving wknd around.

No Uhaul representative called me prior to pickup! Come to find out the pickup location changed from the night prior, and ended up being 50 miles away! I had to pay for that extra distance, added an additional 3 hours to the move with traffic, and was late to help my friend with the truck. Poor communication by Uhaul (which I was under the impression was guaranteed or else I get $50 credit) made this rental an absolute nightmare. I use Uhaul multiple times per week, and this rental experience with the mobile truck is one I will always try and avoid now.

Rep was not able to tell me why all the sudden I needed to provide secondary contact person. I gave rented numerous times from this facility. When I asked for copy of disclosure they told me to go online but I was unable to locate it. Please send me a copy of disclosure explaining why I need to add another adult as additional contact. Furthermore, they indicated the reason was due to terrorists attack??? Fearing someone to provide information is not a best customer service tactic. I have been in customer service industry for 25 years and this place is still horrible when it comes customer service.

Overall my experience was of over the top hospitality. Try not to park the trucks too close together, it’s hard to back out.

since we were supposed to pick up the trailer in Salem, and it was not available we had to go to the Lynnway. They were very accommodating and crediting us for the inconvenience of having to travel from Beverly to Lynn.

Explain and give options clearly. I was charged for "safemove" even though I did not request for it and I still don't know what it was all about.
