I was charged for 91 miles while i drove 13 miles and i took picture before i started driving ahown to uhal guy there he checked it too and said he will update your staff about it but still i was charged extra then i had to email for refund

Do a full inspection of the vehicle before it is rented out. Make sure some one responds to the call directed to road side assistance extension. Literally I was waiting for someone to pick my call for more than an hour. And the towing guy who came doesn't even have an idea for what he is there to tow!

Was not impressed when i dropped off the trailer. No one was there to accept return, i had to disconnect a big 12x6 cargo trailer alone! I had to call in and ask if someone was coming. No one came. I also was charged an extra DAY because i dropped off at 2 pm and picked up at 930am, what a joke. Maybe i wouldnt be so upset if someone was there to help me drop off. Not great customer service.

U Haul is taking advantage of customers in the following (documented) : 1- The Customers are asked to fill up the tank up on return to dispatch level. The U Haul strongly suggested table of liters to go back to the target level of fill is 20 % over estimated . This results in customer giving up about 20 $/ per rental to U haul. This is in fact a systematic and biased nicle and diming customers. 2-in conversion from mile to Km is rounded up in favour of U Haul. 3- Up on my objection in return YOUR staff raised his fist on me and hit the barrier Plexi-Glass towards my face. Subjecting me / the customer to A VIOLENT gesture.( video in your location is self explanatory. 4- He was not putting his mask and the mask as seen on your video is hanging bellow his chin throughout the exchange and perhaps throughput the day. 5- Your banking /payment machine does not accept tapping . This forces the customer to inert cards and in essence facilitates another path for Covid dispersion in the community. Some issues: The online check-in was not set up correctly. I had wait till they opened and completed it at the counter The steering wheel needs to be calibrated. It was not in the center with a gap when you turn it.

Overcharged for extra day as took forever in line just to find out to leave keys in truck. Also when picking up equipment was told no furniture dollys available even when I had 2 reserved and was advised that location only had 2 in total. No one ever advised that they did not have to allow me time to arrange elsewhere

The whole experience wasnt a good one First of all first time using the mobile app and i spent a good amount of time trying to find the van and went to the front desk to ask where the van was they had just taken it to the back and parked it. Therefore they told me to go all the way around to the back ask the guy for the key when I asked the guy for the key the van was in between other cars so then he moved the car in front of it to see if I can have enough space to get out which there was no space to get out whatsoever and then I waited again because he had to go to the office and get another set of keys in order to move the other vans that were blocking the van that was provided to me then after waiting for a while he then came moved two cars in front of me in order for me to be able to get out so definitely wasn't a smooth experience nor was it an easy one I thought by booking through the mobile app things would have been ready and I would have been able to just get into the van and drive to my destination but it took more time being wasted and going through the entire process.

Overall it was an okay experience. I couldnt find the cargo van listed and had to refresh the van selection 4 times until one appeared that I could find. Also, I don't understand the point of doing the online registration then having to wait inline in the store to receive the keys. Other locations have lock boxes to avoid lining up.

I was not impressed that I was given a truck that was out of gas, and that I was told to drop off the truck with ideally a quarter of a tank - in other words the gas differential was to be a hidden fee not itemized on my bill. The empty tank also meant that my first stop needed to be to a gas station where I basically had to guess at how much gas I needed. The truck's air conditioning wasn't working, on the highway the transmission had a really bad shudder, and the cargo hold had not been swept out. I was, however, impressed with the location and quantity of truck/van inventory they had available, and the rental rate was pretty competitive.

Not charge them for gas that was filled up prior to returning and then proceeding to say "check your pictures". The pictures clearly show the gas tank at the appropriate level. This location takes advantage of after hours vehicle returns - please try to return during operating hours to not get ripped off by the owner.

Second and last time I rent anything from this location. Last time the trailer I received was full of mud. This time the truck and trailer that I rented wasn't ready at 10am, even after pre-booking everything the night before. What is the point of pre-booking online for 1/2 hour and then going through all of it again in the line? Once I received the paperwork for my truck, I asked why they rent out trucks with only 1/4 tank of gas? Now I had to go fill the tank up before my 200km trip, and plan around bringing in back with only 1/4 tank. Then I went to get the truck. Almost empty, and ... the cab smelled like sh**. The stench was unbearable. Back inside I went again, where I was told I would get a fuel credit because it was less than 1/4 tank. I said I couldn't sit in that truck for 2 hours so I was given and new one and told to go and pick up the trailer at the back where someone would meet me; another 15 minutes of waiting and back inside for a 3rd time. The trailer was at the front, not the back. Hooked up and ready to go 40 minutes later. When I came back, I was asked if I could unhook the trailer myself and leave it in the spot where I picked it up. ??? They wanted me to unhook the trailer and return everything? Back inside for a forth time to pay my bill. I asked about the fuel credit I was promised. Nope. Because I was given a different truck with more fuel, I wouldn't get the credit. If you aren't in a hurry to move anything, and don't mind the dirt and stench of the interior truck space, then this is the place to rent from.

Upon arrival, we found that our truck was parked behind 3 other trucks. The attendant asked someone to get it, but somehow we still waited 20 minutes for them to bring it to the front. We ended up losing about 30 minutes before we got into the truck. This was extremely inconvenient, as we were moving out from a condo with a limited time window to use the elevator. Will not use again

Your app for check out and check in is terrible. Both my husband and I are fairly tech savvy but your app would not work. A wonderful lady ended up coming out to help us. When returning it defaults to miles but in Canada we use kms so again would not let me return. I think I ended up with an additional charge because it was after hours and so it had to be done the next morning by the store.

Had a reservation for 10am. Unfortunately it seems like they overbooked as they had the last 26' truck in for repairs. It took an extra hour but in the end the gentleman behind the counter was able to do a quick fix on the broken horn for me so it could be rented out. Merci.

Truck had less than half a tank of gas. Fine, i will return it with the same amount...I got charged for a full tank and then some!!! when I email customer service, they told me they spoke to the side director and found no reason the refund me the additional 138 $above the 103 $they took for the rental. the truck was driven exactly 30 Miles. how did I take the truck with a full tank and return it at 1/3 of a tank??? they just wouldn't listen. SAD!

I had ordered 10 foot vehicle and got confirmation through email but when I was there to pick they told me your order was canceled and you have to pick from other location. Then I was there to other location as directed me to your sales staff that location was closed. It was wasted my time then I had called uhaul they told me that only 9 foot vehicle is available instead of 10 feet then I don't have any choice to get this 9 foot vehicle. I had worst experience my time gas commitment all was wasted and my small furniture was damage to too and I have to get extra time and gas to complete my work. I request to compensate my loss because uhaul was at fault to not provided to same vehicle which I had ordered

Because of our need to relocate both our home & business, we have experienced a number of storage companies; Public Storage, U-Haul, Apple/Access & SmartStop. The last 3 had indoor climate controlled units. Apple/Access were just not clean. U-Haul was far better, but did not have the size required (10x30) when we need to rent. SmartStop was the best. Your bay doors are the best. The lights really aid to the safety and provide excellent information regarding when to enter or leave. The facilities at Lawson & those of SmartStop are superior because they were built for that specific need. Apple/Access have adapted warehouses to meet their needs; which in my opinion, just did not work as well as yours. Miss Vanessa, the manager, was very helpful and was always smiling.

So many things went wrong. When we got there we tried to do the self service and the system would not work so had to go in. Ended up having to take 10 pictures of my drivers license to make it work. When we finally got it to work which was 20 minutes into my scheduled time with the truck we went outside to find our truck wasn't even there yet. We had to wait another 10 minutes for our truck to be ready so 30 minutes into my scheduled time. Then upon returning there was no where to park the truck so we had to park along back then got in trouble saying we shouldn't have done that. I get my receipt through email and notice they charged me 230$ more then they should have so now I had to call again and complain to get my money back. Found out they charged me for 2 days even though we only took an hour and charged me to have the gas tank full when it started at a quarter. I finally got a receipt with my refund but its taken multiple days to come I know its that banks are slow on refunds but still annoying because it shouldn't have been charged that amount either way. I think 1 this company needs to take there time and read over things before unchanging someone 230$ and 2 be more prepared my truck should have been ready at 10am when my pick up was not 1030. The back of the truck had wet paint on the floor from having been recently repainted most likely by the maintenance crew and it stained a few of my items. The lady at the desk was kind enough to give me blankets to put on the floor of the truck for free though so kudos to her for a great response!

The booking experience seemed simple and straightforward and all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I was informed that a scheduling manager would call me 1-3 days prior to the bins being dropped off and that it would not be an issue for same-day pickup. This was an key reason we booked with uhaul. Fast forward to the week of pickup I did not receive a call from a scheduling manager and was transferred and passed off to client representatives everytime I called to inquire about the boxes being delivered. It was an unnecessarily frustrating experience starting on Wednesday - Saturday. We were finally able to speak with an individual the morning the boxes were scheduled to arrive (we had to call you!) and was informed the boxes would arrive late and could not be picked up on the same day. This was infuriating as we resided in the urban core. Thankfully, Sam was on the job! She went above and beyond to resolve all of the issues we had faced with uhaul. She was kind and considerate, and promised to rectify the solution. We did not receive all of the boxes we had ordered, Sam ensured that an additional box was dropped off and even came back in the evening to pick the boxes up from the street. On requesting that the boxes be delivered at a later date, Sam checked in and verified the time of drop-off and pick up. Sam single-handedly redeemed our U-Haul experience!

U-Haul storage at Milton cross roads is amazing! I was there for over a year and never had any issues. Always clean and well taken care of, and plenty of bays to move in and out. Vanessa, the general manager, is incredible! She does her job thoroughly and professionally, always displaying a high level of empathy and compassion, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this particular location for a of your storage needs!!!

booked online, then did same thing in the office, all my requirements wasn't met. i believe i was overly charged, and i made nothing less then 3 calls before i went in person. and what i was told in person was different from what i was told when i called. not looking forward to using U-Haul. Services in the future.

Uhaul phone help was wonderful but after 2 hours and then trying to contact Milton staff I still couldn't enter. We were charged for the first month even though we had a one way rental.

My experience at This particular location was disgraceful. I have booked a size 20 truck 2 weeks prior only to get there on the day and was offered a size 10 truck. Naturally I was angry but what got me really upset was the guy at the front desk. He could not even apologize, instead he told me to go call 1800 Uhaul and register my displeasure with them or not take the size 10 at all. I was shocked at his response, he was very rude. Another lady came out and appears to be the manager, she said she didn't like my tone and decided to cancel the size 10 truck too anyway. She said she Uhaul does not rent to my type anyway. I was left with no truck that day and my whole day was ruined. I am a black man, and I genuinely believe I had my first direct racial abuse that day. Otherwise, what does she mean by "Uhaul does not rent to my type anyway". It was disgraceful. If my size 20 truck wasn't available, I understand these things happens and I expect the customer service person to apologize, atleast show a bit of empathy. His words were "dude we only have a size 10, take it or contact uhaul" . I could go on, it was disgraceful.

I did an online rental(without going to the physical store) and the unit allotted was pretty much in the other corner of the entry point/elevator. I do notice that most units this size are empty as I walk to my unit. And the unit was not locked with a tag that could be broken as per the email. Rather it was locked. So I had to go all the way back to loading area, drive to the front office and then do it all over again. The unit and facility is pretty clean and the next visits were smooth. Still not so happy with the 'faraway' unit with so many empty units in between.

Milton location on Lawson Rd provided me with EXCELLENT customer service. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. One suggestion to maybe have another person on the shift to ensure the phone calls are answered and not required to be put on hold all the time. It appears this a busy location and another body would be required on a shift. Nonetheless I would certainly use them again.

One issue we have had to do with the service elevator. The door closes way too fast, and the floor of the elevator, when stopped at a floor, rarely lines up with the floor of the level. This results in (1) difficulty in even getting into the elevator, and (2) a challenge getting the dollies/carts up and over the lip of the elevator. Also, the carts would be better if they had brakes on them, so as to not roll away when loading or unloading. Finally, the loading dock does not line up with the back hatch of the trucks (we were using one of your trucks), resulting in either a hazard getting in and out of the truck, or having to leave the truck well away from the dock, in order to have to fully extend the ramp. Merci.

The storage facility was lovely and wonderful, however I would never rent a moving truck from them, ever. I reserved a 20 foot truck five weeks prior to my move, and was told 40 hours prior to the move, that there was only a 17 foot available, and I was not allowed to get a trailer (apparently they are not to leave the GTA.) Nothing like finding out two days before your move you will not be able to fit all of your personal effects. Storage unit was great.( after calling the destination Uhaul drop off - who could not understand why I wasn't given what I'd booked- they called the Milton location and then a 20 footer showed up just in time. Huzzah. Overall the Truck rental at this location was a disaster.)

Your facility seems well organized from the docking bays to the free trollies to the great lighting. It was my first time using a U-Haul Storage Facility and I am thoroughly impressed.

I cannot comment on the facility as I was never there, but the system will not let me leave them blank. The staff were great and the driver was very professional. U-box's were clean and secure.

I didn't visit this facility in person, but I had a very positive experience with the delivery and removal of a U-Box. The staff were very accommodating, having removed the box on an earlier date.

One of the cleanest, secured and covered storage facility that I have been to. It is nicely built and can be accessed all year round. Helpful and friendly staff ready to serve you with a smile.

I had precalled for access, however, I had to wait twenty mins for access so calling was pointless. A very busy depot with a long line up. I'll use you again.

On Wed, Sept. 26 I asked that my U-box be on a trailer and ready for pick-up by 4pm on Fri. Sept. 28. I was assured it would be ready. On Fri. it was not ready by 4; had to wait until after 6.

Extremely inconvenient storage access hours. Misleading website. Rude customer service. Many times doors were not open hours after the open time and I had to ask. Got charged an extra month after left

Not 24 hour access as advertised. Could only access thru the warehouse which was closed half the time I visited. Office didn't seem to care or were uninformed. Reliability is important to me.

You should watch your stuff even it is %100 secure. I just put my locks with the keys on the floor to organize my furniture in the truck, somebody took both ! just in 15 min. ...

Arrived at 5:45pm ;huge line-up to get storage unit; full truck/movers. No unit until 6:45pm could not unload.Had to leave the truck overnight. unloaded next day/ no movers. charged 2dbl for truck

I got a quote to het Uhaul deliver my U-box to my home on a specific date. They did not do that. They refused to give my belongings to the subcontractor that I needed to hire...(more that cant fit)

PRE-BOOKED my U-Box for p/u time 48 hrs in advance. Showed up & waited 2 hours to find box & put on trailer despite not busy. Staff poorly trained, disorganized, indifferent. 2nd time issue at Milton.
