The left mirror was cracked on the truck and I called immediately but there only response was let them know at the end? Let them know at the end? I needed a mirror to be able to see behind me! Never offered to fix it or help or anything, then when on the highway the truck tops at 50 miles an hour, going any faster it downshifts you right back to 50. It took twice as long to get where I was going. I did call, but we had to keep going we could not wait for service. Plus that would have taken another day of time, hotels and gas. The truck experience was awful. The employees were kind. I'm requesting a refund because I took three extra days off work because I was expecting to get to my destination three days sooner, but the truck would not go faster than 50! Which nothing said this when I paid for the truck. Also calling they said the truck goes faster than 50, well the one they gave me did not. Not being able to see behind me because it had no side working mirror was awful too, I'd never recommend a truck with no rear mirror. I'm requesting a refund. A small issue but I did buy a truck outlet at uhaul but it was never put in the bag when I left chamber store but my receipt I was charged for it. You need to refund me because the truck should have been in working order not how it was - it's not right to do to me.

"Of course you won't be making - A Donation" " Just select NO. I was like wow..OK. I guess I should not be surprised. Considering just two weeks ago, they had me race across Atlanta to get, to this location for my rental. To only get to a closed location and the wrong key in the drop box. Still waiting for my callback...... Waisted time & energy.
Laprell D.I specifically asked if the lights were working and the attendant told me they were. I drove home and packed and packed the trailer. My wife was following me in a separate vehicle and asked me if I knew the trailer lights didn't work. This was 10 miles into a 350 mile trip. When I returned the trailer we confirmed that my wiring harness worked and that it was the trailer's wiring that had a problem. Really disappointed that the attendant told me the lights worked when they didn't.
Alan W.There was a lot of mix-up with my rental from beginning to end. Not sure who's fault it was but I was being overcharged. It was corrected once I returned the vehicle but it should have been avoided. I rent a lot from Uhaul and this was the worst experience. Let's not get worst let's get better!
Deborah W.Arrived late for pickup. Was told my reservation was cancelled because it was over 1 hour late! No other trucks of the same size available. Nowhere on the SMS / email / website does it mention that if you don't show up within the hour your reservation is cancelled. I checked the fineprints on the email confirmation. The clerk ended up finding me a smaller truck (cargo van) available. That's all there was, so that's all I got. The first one was damaged: spare tire had been installed, dead tire inside the van and the tire cable dragging on the road. Complained on site (I had not left the parking lot). Got another cargo van. Dash glass was broken and the fuel gauge was broken, but the rest worked. I'm sure I ended up filling it up more than necessary at the end of the day because of the broken fuel gauge, but I was able to accomplish what I needed from the day of rental in the end.

Naimah R.Full context: Had to rent pickup for in-town using out-of-state drivers license. Documentation online versus at-location requirements for secondary assurances did not match. Attendant insisted on third form of assurance after providing phone number for myself, and for my wife (documentation only states two are needed). Pickup had several places on exterior where something had been spattered on it and not cleaned. Online app for inspecting vehicle does not work seamlessly with DuckDuckGo Browser, requiring user to know how to manually take photos and then upload to gallery. Arbitrary limits on number of photos to upload with no way to delete/choose another is poor UX. Staff outside of office were friendly and helpful. Truck functioned properly. Entrance/Exit for facility is truly not great. A hairpin driveway immediately next to a highway on ramp and access road split is hair raising enough in a smaller vehicle. I can only imagine the stress for a larger vehicle operator.

Sherri G.Have staff that are honest and trustworthy. I left 2 items in the truck when I returned the truck. I called the store to let them know I was on my way back to retrieve the items. When I reached the store I was told the staff member who did the final check of the truck didn't see my items. I made it VERY CLEAR my items WAS in the truck and I want it now. I followed the staff member outside and he pulled my personal items out of his car trunk. Prior to this, the manager swore that if the staff member had seen anything in the truck he would have told the manager. Obviously THAT was a lie!!! I would NEVER spend my money at this location again!!
Sharay M.I am a long time renter at this U-Haul location and have been treated fairly for the most part. I was surprised to find that U-Haul was unwilling to work with me in accommodating my storage needs when I attempted to rent an unavailable 10 x 10 storage unit (at this location)and wanted to merge two 5 x 10 units to accommodate a 10 x 10 unit. I was told that corporate is not allowing such arrangements and I had to rent two 5 x 10 units instead until such a time a 10 x 10 storage becomes available. I understood the business side of the argument that storage rentals are in high demand and the business is good right now and would prefer to rent two units independently as oppose to merging units together to make one unit. It would appear that the company best interest isn't from a customer service standpoint and was unfortunate.

Frederic H.First location I went to did not have the trailer I needed despite having a reservation, so I was sent to this location. Picked up the trailer off the lot and got to my destination before realizing there was a pad lock on the trailer. Had to go back to have it cut off. This experience was incredibly frustrating but the store manager was very kind and apologetic

Jack R.Train the person putting the trailer on the hitch to tighten the receiver. Trailer fell off my truck 3 minutes up the road from the uhaul facility. On the side of highway I had to stop the trailer that was under my truck because saftey chains caught the trailer. Had to put it back on my truck, tighten it .then continue my journey. Tried to call the facility kept saying 20 minutes wait time. Everytime I called.

That was accurate and we had no problems

The turn over rate at this place is ridiculous and no one wants to spend their money where the service is horrible and the employees don't fully understand or can not fully communicate the standard rates and fees well enough to successfully secure a storage unit for a customer where it's not a big confusion when that employee is absent and some else is assisting the customer. It seems to me that no one is trained properly at the place. This was by far my worst experience ever at uhaul. That says a lot.

The manager is also always onsite and assisting his team during any complications. I had to give a phone number of a friend and sister. There is no reason for you to involve ANYONE, for any communication purpose, involving my storage unit. You contact me and me only and don't ask for ANYTHING else. I don't want anyone involved in my life, issues, or storage unit. I have a mailing address and a physical address. You don't need both. Nobody gets both. Why do you need it? Had I known that you were going to ask for all this info, I would have taken my business elsewhere. You need to change this policy or at least give a logic reason as to why you need this.
