The attendant was surly and rude. He did not understand I had no alternate phone number to verify I was a human, so he asked where my father was. He's dead, I said. Without blinking, he asked if I had a sister. I don't have another number means just that. I asked why he needed it in the first place. Because people are stealing our trucks he tells me. Really?! Put a tracker on them. I don't know a single rental company that doesn't do that. You're telling me that Uhaul doesn't? By the way, that verification is no where to be found in any of your information. I will actively tell anyone I come across about this awful experience - including on social media. Shame on you for hiring such fools.MARY B.

Associate jose galicia was not helpful and seems to hate his job. I noticed my tank was less than 3/4 full and when he found out he gave me wrong keys. When given correct keys, he told me the new truck was next to the old truck so I had to try several next to them.Patrick Z.
The truck they assigned me did not have working A/C. It was the hottest ride for the first 80 miles until the sun went down. It did not drive smooth and it made a constant loud sound the entire time. Because I was on a tight schedule I did not have time to return it and start the process over again. Also the pick up process was very lengthy. I was supposed to do an electronic check in and pick up but the system didn't work so I had to go inside. The employees didn't move with any sense of urgency. There were two employees present. Only one was helping customers while the other appeared to be troubleshooting some problem on his phone (could have very well been a company device). It just seemed that it could have waited a few moments so that he could help clear the lime of waiting customers.LAKISHA M.
Uhaul had a flat tire when we picked it up. It had to be returned once loaded for the tire to be changed which wasted a lot of our last day for packing which caused us to rush and made us sick. Also, the truck had chips in the floorboard. Finally, the tow Dolly for the car did not turn properly which made the trip horrible.Nathan B.

I had to call the 800 number for customer service 4 times. 20 minutes on hold each time. One tried to transfer me and cut me off and I had to keep calling to finally get a person who had the training and capability to set up a one-way rental. VERY POOR call center support!!!BARRY M.
