Lobby needs to be bigger or declutter ,too much merchandise in the way. But facilities was very accommodating.

I had reserved a 20' truck two weeks prior to our move. In the days leading up to the pickup, the rental location was changed twice. I still called the last store indicated to ensure this was the right location with the right equipment. I was assured by the store associate I spoke with that this was the case and all the equipment I reserved would be available at the pickup time. When we arrived (on time), we were told that, yes, there was a reservation, however it was never confirmed and therefore there was no 20' truck available. The store associate was unable to reach U-Haul operations to see if other accommodations at another location could be made. We waited a considerable amount of time with no success, and we ended up having to rent a 26' truck without the necessary equipment. Unfortunately, the store didn't have a hand truck or the two furniture dollies available either which we had also reserved. We had to make a run to Home Depot to rent the equipment we required. Very frustrating. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. Especially since I made the effort to confirm via phone with the store that everything was ready and available for pickup. My trust in U-Haul's operations in general and this location in particular has been severely eroded. I will make another truck reservation in the coming days for the rest of our move but I am honestly not sure if U-Haul is the company I will go with after this experience.
JOCHEN FMake sure all the doors work properly. I had a hard time opening and closing the bay door. I end of putting extra gas in the truck I wanted to know will I get reimbursed? Plus I liked the fuel efficient truck it's was good on gas I didn't realize that. That's why I put extra gas thinking the gas would run out.

LONDELL HThe unprofessional conduct exhibited by the young woman with dreadlocks was unacceptable. I observed no justification for her rudeness and disrespect, and I maintained a cordial and respectful demeanor throughout the interaction. However, she responded with an attitude. Initially, I entertained the possibility that she was experiencing a personal difficulty, but it soon became evident that her behavior was directed solely at me. Despite her unprofessionalism, I remained composed and respectful. It is evident that she requires training in customer service and satisfaction. As a complete stranger, she had no legitimate reason to be rude. In contrast, the customer service provided by Ashton was commendable and greatly appreciated.
CHIDINMA MThe only issue was that I could not put sufficient gas in the truck when I attempted to return it... I tried to gas locations (Valero and Chevron) and both pumps keep turning off when I attempted to pump gas. The intake on the truck would not allow the pump nozzle. Please address this. Merci.
MARK GCustomer service was horrible Kieda S. I think that was her name snatched my ID out my hand and threw back at me because I told her my address was on my ID. Gave me a truck that was blocked in and I had to wait 20 minutes more before they gave me another truck .
LAMARCUS PI took the truck from Marietta GA with 3/4 of a tank. I was told to return it with 3/4 of a tank….. I did that and was still charged a fuel charge. That did not make me happy.

You need to help out the staff with a better system. The two women that helped me were just great. I really I enjoyed the interactions. The drop off was wonderfully easy. The dental man that helped me was great. Really good job overall.

KEVIN TFront office staff joking and carrying on but then they come out and hitch my trailer AND FORGET THE SAFETY CHAINS. Charmain calls me later after looking at the picture she took and tells me to come back. No. So I pull over in the highway and fix the chains. I'm towing my grandfathers 1920 Model T immeasurably valuable in sentimental reasons. How dare you risk the safety of my life and property like that! When I ask for a refund local manager Ashton tells me to call national and when I call national Ms Harris tells me to talk to my local branch and again when I call my local branch it rings to National. I talk to national and have to elevate to a supervisor in order to get my refund started. When I checked out you need the phone# of a third party and you call it?!? Why does a 50 year old man who has rented trailers dozens of times need to get his wife's permission to rent once again?!? "Because people are stealing our trailers." DONT TREAT ME LIKE A THIEF. There's other rentals out there that are a tenth of the drama hassle and trouble.
William RU-Haul is making the rental process more and more tedious for me, their valued customer. Even though I make my reservation WITH MY U-HAUL ACCOUNT, I have to take a selfie and photo of the front and back of my license at the counter. Then I have to "confirm" the equipment plate number on the yard and finally I have to take a half dozen photos (front, back, sides, cargo area) and attest that the equipment is clean yada yada. What's next? A DNA swab to actually make sure it's me? Jeez, lighten up U-Haul and slim down the rental process.This is gotten really annoying.

She intentionally did multiple things like (extra phone calls) (forgot about the furniture pads) calling my sister with an attitude to verify she is ok with being a secondary person of contact like I'm some child. I also didn't get things I requested like dolly, etc. The truck was dirty when I got in it per the pics I sent. I wouldn't return or advise anyone to come here.

The gentleman shut the door on my partner and I and said they're closed 4 minutes after the closed time even though we called. The man spoke to us through the glass door instead of opening it and was useless. He was rude and treated us horribly.

The female employee I worked with literally couldn't speak complete sentences so I could follow what she was saying. At one point she just stopped answering questions, I asked 3-4 questions during my exchange and apparently that was too much. Not only were the employees hardly competent, but they had a terrible attitude.

This was a mistake on you'll part failure to complete the paperwork once I returns the truck. This is something no one should have to go through knowing they returned the truck and getting a call at 8 o'clock in the morning saying that the truck was in return.

CHARLOT GThe employee who checked me was rude and not communicative, was also not clear about the process such as where to locate my truck to hook up the trailer, and in general I had a horrible experience with that employee. Quite the opposite of what I was expecting. When I returned the trailer, a different employee told me just to leave it there, and that she would take care of the checkout, and that they would send me the checkout documents online. The next day, I got 2 consecutive phone calls, from two different employees of that facility, asking me when am I planning to return the trailer, although I returned it the day before, so there was a lot of miscommunication there between them.

DAVID RWhen we arrived. We were charged even though we had booked with a code that gave us the first month rent free. We also requested to have first floor and was told that we had to be on the 2 nd floor with no elevator which was difficult for us with all the stairs. Will never recommend that location ever.

The unit I originally booked which was a down stairs unit was already taken so I had to take an upstairs unit and the place doesn't have an elevator which was a hassle. 2. I was charged for late fee's when my account was on auto pay. When I contacted customer service and customer service contacted the manger she basically said she would wave my fee as a one time courtesy, which I think isn't fair because if my unit is in auto pay and your system fails to recognize that, it's not my fault. The 3rd reason is I moved out before the next time my bill was due. I did everything that was asked on the app for move out and a few weeks later I received a bill for my unit…I called no one answered so I called customer service a ticket was created. Few more weeks later I received another notice of being late and late fees. Now this is where I get annoyed, if your personal or Manager would walk the units and paid attention you would have seen my move out request. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops for you to do your job. I would never rent from this place again but overal U-Haul was fine.

Nonetheless, I kept getting late notices and letters in the mail. No response. Finally I contacted UHaul customer support and they were shocked at this incompetency and were very helpful. This ending soured my experience with UHaul moving and storage at nrg and I will never rent here or recommend it again.

I was especially impressed with her leadership and management style. She seem to work harder than anyone there and cares about the location, people and her employees.
