John S.This is a small thing but annoying as I am in customer service. I filled the gas about 30 miles before I got to the location. Filled just over the 3/4 mark per what was required. The guy who checked me out leaned in and said it was a tick below. this is $8 2 gallons but to me it was a product of the angle he was looking at it. I questioned him and he told me it is just $8 and charged me. Left a bad taste in my mouth after an overall great experience. For your consideration.

Bryan W.The guy who checked me out was a real jerk. I brought my two sons with me to get a truck and move a couch. He asked if there would be another driver. Is asked if there is a charge to have another driver. He then launched into how he doesn't have to rent me a truck and he can call all the sites and tell them not to rent to me. I assume there is some kind of fraud associated with renting a truck and letting someone else drive it? But he talked to me like I am a criminal. I am a school leader. Both my son and I have licenses and insurance. I cannot help but wonder if he would have just answered my question without the threats and lectures if I were white or male?
Angeline Y.For the vehicle we had the pull-out ramp was jammed and we spent a lot of time to get it unjammed and to be able to use it. It would be helpful to make sure the ramp is in operating order as part of the checklist uhaul does after vehicles are returned.

Jason S.Actually confirm gas tank is full. When I checked the van out, it dropped from the full point less than 2 miles after leaving the rental facility. I chose not to argue this issue. After filling the tank full myself, I was able to drive 80 miles before the gauge dropped one bar… that means it was approximately 4 gallons short when I picked the van up even though it was showing as full.

He took his time to explain everything in as much detail as I requested, with a great friendly attitude. I browsed around the store and changed my mind about a dozen times about every item. He never reacted annoyed or negatively; each time he made the adjustment requested without issue. They helped me load the utility dolly into the vehicle, without hesitation. He also checked me in upon return, and he asked me how the vehicle was, and how my experience was overall at the facility. Honestly, I've moved quite a bit, and always use UHaul, whether In Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles… I've engaged in more than a few transactions at UHauls. This had to be my best experience ever, hands down! You just don't see service like this anymore; especially outside of the south! HUGE Thanks to Henry and the other wonderful staff at this location! I'll definitely continue to use them, Even though the Dorsett Rd UHaul office is closer to me, the service here is worth the extra few miles!

Return is clearly marked and Henry takes good care checking back in. Overall a great location. Care of you real nice!

Paul M.There is exception to the question of whether the equipment was clean and well maintained: I am a non smoker and was assigned a vehicle that reeked of cigarette smoke. It would be great if you gave option for vehicles for non-smokers. You need also to make the after hours return instructions more clear OR to let renters at the time of creating the contract what to do for after hours return with regard to: 1)making the scan code more prominent and reminding renters to follow the app screens BEFORE dropping the key to the vehicle into the drop slot. Maybe placing the scan code together with the drop slot is for returning keys to the vehicles would prevent people from making the mistake of going through the check in on the u-Haul app/website.

I had to make them do it when I rented 3 unit different time. Then to move out was horrible, asked day before why when i rented truck and moving service threw your web site. They were EXCELLENT. But uhaul told use it's at different uhaul, I need to switch the driver . They said you didnt need to just give my phone number . WRONG not only show license change account to him. Made him pay $122.00, he didnt have any credit cards with him. So THANK GOD my sister was out in the car. She paid. MY CREDIT CARD IS IN FILE . why didnt they use it. So another person is living 2 locker's down. I was by my self. 56 yr old white women. SCARED THE CRAP OUT IF ME. AGAIN. The first time I talked to upper management, they said that he had been working on fixing the problem. I said really they said they had no idea someone was living in the unit they rented me. I SAID WOW YOU REALLY DROPPED THE BALL. So now it happened again.you need to fix this. You are a nation wide company. REALLY. This is a news worthy store. So how will this be rectified??? Disappointed customer.
