ben A.My original location ended not having my uhaul rental available at the time of pick up. Was then sent to another location that refused to be able to let me drop off the uhaul at my original selected location. Rep at the new location I was forced to go to was unhelpful, disinterested and was clearly focused on upselling me as opposed to trying to make it right. Uhaul is full of non- executors and I will make sure I that I never use them again.

But up till tonight, the withdraw Uhaul taken yesterday 3 times from the bank is still not cancel and give me the new bill. This is not very good. It looks like no one is working. And the call center peoples English is humongous slow.

Overall experience here was horrible and I wouldn't recommend this place at all. He need to be replaced he has horrible customer service skills.
alisha P.The general manager at this location needs to be retrained or fired. He told me his name was Miguel(no name tag present). When asked to explain my bill he couldn't. I explains the 115 charge all he said was he couldn't see. I called another location who explained to me that see different cards and told held was 334 however manager locked contract so could see and to call Uhaul. I called uhaul after 1 hour and a half for a supervisor who was very respectful and knowledgeable explained and I paid her with no problem. The issue I have is the way the manager belittle me as if I was asking because I couldn't afford. He taunted me make sly remarks which made me uncomfortable and not want to give him my money at all. Rolled his eyes, breathing hard, and even chuckled a lil while I was leaving. If this location is short staffed or has issue this guy would be the problem. Wouldn't wish that type of service on my worst enemy.

Christopher B.Horrendous first the guy at the counter snuck in an upcharge for the $14 insurance package claims I added it when I had the reservation right in front of me proving otherwise. Why would I add that when I have a 5 million dollar commercial liability insurance policy with a rider to cover rental equipment? I'm sorry then he refused to take it off told me I would have to reach out to you hold directly but would make a note on my account will find out if you really did and if they refund that bogus charge. Then he sends me out to the truck tells me it's on a quarter of a tank and it's below empty! Then says well if you return it with a quarter of a tank we will give you a $10,5 credit towards your bill. So let me get this right you want me to return it with $70 more in gas than it had to start with to get $10,5 knocked off my bill? Stay away from this location. One thing is a mistake but both of these things happening goes to show they're just trying to con people and if you look around at the different locations they have one of the worst ratings and I understand why. Unfortunately Penske didn't have a truck available last minute and the next closest 26 ft was 10 mi out of my way so I took a chance but it was nothing but headaches
Matthew M.I found it hard to believe that 1 person was responsible for the entire operation on a saturday morning at opening. There was a line about 6 deep when I got there and we waited until about 7:10 to begin the customer service. Once the young man processed my reservation and the person in front of me, we then had to run outside to get us set up to tow. the person in front of me was a customer that needed a lot of time to be able to commit to and it was challenging for the person to have to run back and forth. The return was really easy and efficient and the agent was very friendly and helpful. It took me about 2 minutes to check out, but was about 25 minutes to check in.

Make sure the contract and equipment #s match..they don't know what to do if it doesn't and makes you feel like it is your fault.

I purchased the best insurance under the complete assurance my belongings would be covered I made a police report because our widow was busted out and my tools along with some personal items were stolen I make a claim assuming I was covered like I was told I was in case something like this was to happen which unfortunately it did and uhaul has the odassity to tell me they wouldn't be covering any of my Belongings!!! Plus I didn't even get to rent the vehicle I asked for prior to me coming in to rent I had to go with a more expensive vehicle because that's all they had left supposedly,putting fuel in the vehicle was a pain in as because we had to use a funnel or the gas would spill out, it took forever just to put a quarter tank in

I reserve online and this location is approximately.5 miles from my House. The quote asks if I'm flexible and want to save $270 with 4 day allowance and 598 miles included for $129! I took insurance $82 and an additional day $45 TOTAL should be under $250 ! This is not acceptable that I'm being billed for almost $900 I will be expecting a REFUND!

Very rude and obnoxious. Don't go to this location. This just might push us to another rental company. Also the van cost 35 in gas for 98 miles. My 98 suburban get better gas milage.

Ron G.I reserved the truck I rented online. It was suggested to upload my driver's license and enter my credit card info to speed up the process when I picked up the truck. When I got to U Haul I was asked to provide my license and credit card info. I told him that I did online. He said that it didn't come through. Then I called the U Haul phone number because at the end of the registration process it mentioned that I didn't list an additional driver. As my son was going to drive and I didn't see this when I filled out my info - I called the UHaul info number. The rep told me that as long as the driver was over 18 and had a license - nothing else was required. At U Haul when I told him my son was going to be driving the truck - he said that he needed his driver's license. I told when what the UHaul rep had said on the phone about no infor needed for an additional driver. He said "who told you that"? Seems that there were some discrepancies with the online registration and the phone call to the U Haul rep. It wasn't that big a deal because the store was not busy at all but I spent extra time uploading my license and putting in my card info - only have to redo it at the store.

Wasn't awful but to drive an hour out of the way because the original location changed our pick up time twice and then never had the truck was quite an inconvenience. To which we were only credited miles. This put us out 5hrs from our original plan causing us to need to miss our hotel reservation so that we'd make it in time to return to work, losing out on another $400. But the icing on the cake was our *new* truck breaking down 10hrs into our trip and having to transfer all of our belongings to a new truck and after uhaul offering to have movers come help, that never happened either. Our 18hr drive turned into 36hrs and all we got were a few compensated miles. We will never use nor recommend uhaul services again.

Next day came in to load my storage and first, I wasn't explained correctly about the buildings & the letters not matching the building # - THEN once I got into the building there was still a lock on the unit. From getting my truck to leaving the storage unit i had to walk back inside over 3 times due to issues and not being ready for me.
Rachelle G. | Premières impressionsI will commend your company for holding my storage as long as you did, but my biggest complaint is when I received a message stating I could get my items at no charge, then not giving me any way to access those items. The items in the storage were my deceased brother who died not long after Covid started. I received a message from Erica at 24th st and McDowell office stating I could come get my items at no charge. I was working at the time and did not get the message until after they had closed for the day. I went down on Sunday with the means to get the storage cleaned out and was told the lock on there was unable to be opened. So I had to leave and not get my stuff Sunday. I called immediately when they opened Monday morning as my storage was due to go to auction and was told there was nothing they could do. I felt that this was the worst thing you could do to somebody, make them think they can get their items and not give them anyway to get it. I still have not even been contacted about the personal items that should have not been included in the auction. I expect this from Public Storage, but not U-haul. I will not ever get a storage with your company nor will I ever use your trucks, ever again.

Jason J. | Online Move InThis storage unit was rented for my son who had to move out of his ASU apartment. When he went to check in he was told that he didn't have a reservation. After arguing with the desk person his reservation was found but it was pulling teeth to have him show my son the location of his storage unit. His card and code would not let him have access. The desk help used his card to open the gate and told him to call yesterday to get a new code. He called yesterday, got a new code, drove his car packed with all of his belongings to the storage unit and the CODE did not work. He has to be at work at 8:00am today with a car full of stuff. It is two days from the day we rented the storage unit and can not access it still. I would definitely never use this facility again.

I set up autopay for all 3 of my lockers day 1 & somehow 1 magically came off of autopay & I was charged an late fee… the same thing happened the following month but in the 2nd month, it was 2 of my lockers that dropped off of autopay causing me to pay 2 late charges. In total, I had to pay 3 late charges due to a faulty system & had to make sure to pay manually every month due my lack of confidence in the system. This was 100 % system error, not user error.
