The check out guy that was working was very slow, they were busy but he went over to check truck in and was sitting in truck for a while I looked over he was in the phone another five minutes I had to walk over to truck and he turned key to get miles and calculated wrong I told him so he re calculated told me my total i said okay thats better and he sat there silent for like 2 mins so I said is that it do I need anything else?? He said do you want to use card on file I said well yes you already have a hold on it.. he said ok then yea your done. It was very unprofessional and he wasn’t friendly. I have used this location several times and never had that problem. I also used movers through your website and they never showed up!! And now I have to wait for my money back!!! Not a great experience this time at all.

Update your online appt settings. I scheduled a 9:30 appointment online to have a hitch put on while I waited just to be told that the installer was not scheduled to come in on fridays until 12 noon and that they do not even take appointments. This was a huge inconvenience as my mother is 93 and on hospice and its very difficult and expensive to get time away, hence scheduling an appointment to minimize backup caregiver expenses. At 2:30 my service was complete to my satisfaction but the extended time cost me $100. I would like to be contacted by someone at corporate level to discuss in greater detail. 757-714-1824

I rented a truck for about an hour several weeks ago. I returned the truck and had trouble with the U-Haul app while performing self check in. It did not recognize my truck rental reference number. I called U-Haul customer service and informed the rep as to my situation and he notated the account and said I was good to go, as far as check in was concerned. Days later I was charged for two rental days and a allegedly missing furniture dolly. Here is the thing that is most interesting, I turned the truck in under the store overhang in front of the store, while U-Haul representatives were inside and outside the store finishing up with other customers at the end of their business day. I asked if they wanted to check my rental truck in and they declined while advising me to use the app, and if it did not work to call customer service. After receiving the falsified invoice, I filed a complaint with U-Haul and subsequently received an email briefly outlining a refund for the dolly but not the extra day. Again, it’s been several weeks now and still this issue has not been resolved and to make it worse, I have yet to be contacted by a store manager. How easy would it be to roll the surveillance footage from that evening and verify that my return was in fact performed as aforementioned? I look forward to resolving this issue as soon as possible.

Not the usual pleasant experience here. The young person who helped me was unfriendly and unhelpful. His answers to questions were brusque. The rented trailer had many problems. Two bolts where the hitch/frame attach to the trailer are missing. These holes allow rain water to enter the trailer while driving. The right front and right rear clearance lights had burned out bulbs. When I asked about that, I got a curt "We don't have those." When I said "What?" I got an equally curt "They're on order." Location can't quickly and easily replace light bulbs? Really? One and a half or two years ago I rented this same trailer. It was missing a tie down ring on the left front. It still is. I used a jury-rigged wire for that trip, and it's still there today. This is grossly unsatisfactory! When rented, this trailer had something slick on the floor - oil or grease. I cleaned it up enough to use for this trip, but this trailer really needs a thorough (soap/pressure washing?) cleaning inside. My usual dealings with this U-Haul store are not this disappointing. I look forward to their usual great service in future transactions.

Great customer service! Rented a trailer with very short notice with no problems. I was in and out in less than ten minutes both picking up and returning the equipment. Willie is the absolute man at this location if you have any problems here hit him up!

It was short notice and my girlfriend and I were already dealing with a ridiculously ran moving company service. U-haul saved us so much time and money. It was quick, easy, and simple. Didn’t have to do anything extra. Had the truck for about 2-3hours then dropped it back. The other place we were dealing with already had us backed up and didn’t tell us anything. Had to get moved around and it was very irritating with my girlfriend already 14 weeks along. I wanted things to go as quick and as smoothly as possible. And U-haul made that happen. It’s 3:30am as I write this review, but while it’s on my mind then I have to let y’all know how grateful I am for the all the help from U-Haul.

Had my vehicle hitch inspected prior to picking up the trailer only to find out the following day that I needed a different receiver. Manager at work that day had very low customer service skills.
