There were several extra spaces inside the lot, but no way to get there. 3 of us were sitting on Randolph Road scratching out heads and one person called and was told by the automated system there was a 55 minutes wait!

Luis M.You need to treat every customer fairly. I had a reservation for 1:30pm, I did not get a uhaul till it was past 4pm. I was told that though I had a reservation, my requested equipment was not available. But I was there when several 15 foot arrived and were given to different customers. They promised to call me when there was one available. They didn't call me at all. I went back there after 4pm and there were several parking. I was not treated fairly.

Adam H.We personal at the desk were professional on the paperwork, but the truck was not cleaned in the cap and there was damage on both sides of the van and the upper right corner was smashed which left a whole into the box. The app didn't work to report these items and when addressing this to the yard personal, they just said to report it when returning. I had to patch the whole myself, as they didn't wanted to do it. Poor attitude, and doesn't care about the states of the vehicle
Jens F.I was not quite satisfied though. I was charged wrongly up to$70 .if I didn't argue the guys in this location would have cheated me. I was so disappointed because I realized that as a regular customer, that's how I have always been cheated. Even though they later apologized to me for what they did.

charles E.I initially reserved it at 8501 Snouffer school Rd, they made me wait 2 hours just to tell me they can't deliver my reserved truck because they lost the key. After requesting for a different locations, she points me to this one which is 30 mins away from the moving location. In the mean time , my moving help from uhaul starts charging me as I am late to pick up the van. They only worked for one hour because of the incompetence of the store people from the first location. I had to pay them extra to help me for a little extra. This was a horrible experience. I'll think twice before I request uhaul service again .

David S.After hours drop off was confusing. Web site wanted to know my location through location sharing which was not necessary- I should have been able to enter a zip code and select it. I could not enable location sharing without downloading the uhaul app. Offered QR code reading as alternative which did not work.physical location of correct QR code was not clear on the property - there was an equipment one and another one and i didn't see the difference immediately. Spent 20 minutes just trying to figure all this out.
Aaron K.As a non-resident to this area, we came to the store from the back side and pulled into the area where the trucks were, assuming the entry door was also there. We were wrong and I had to walk a long ways (I'm partially disabled) to find the entrance. It' would've been so helpful if there'd been a sign on the back side of the building saying and/or pointing to the actual entrance. Residents would've known better, but U-Haul isn't for locals only or it wouldn't offer one-way rentals.

Kiauna T.When I dropped off the truck an hour early, the employee told me that I don't need to do anything on the app. I even showed them the app and they said to not worry about it. About 20min after I left, I received a text from U-haul saying that the rental is due for a return. Out of concern for making sure that the return was processed, I called customer service to ensure that the return would be entered. If needed, I even still had time to go back to the location. The customer service representative told me that it was processed and they sent me an e-mail showing so. At the same time, they told me that I should have processed the return on the app on my own and taken accountability for the return even though the employee at the Rockville location told me that I don't need to worry about it. The customer service representative said that sometimes the location employees don't get to checking in a return until much later and then it's the employees fault for not returning the vehicle on time even though it was. I'm concerned that in a time when technology is surpassing the usability for many people, that the blame so quickly gets placed on the customer for not following through the app online set up. If the employee at the location told me to follow through with the app, personally I would have been able to but I was trusting the employee and appreciate that they followed through. However, from the customer service perspective, it's unfortunate that a customer who may not know how to use technology could be blamed and then charged more for the service. For me these are issues of accessibility and equity, what if someone doesn't have money for data or doesn't understand all the direction associated with an online set up? I'm only bringing up points and hope that these will be considered to ensure a better and more equitable user friendly service. Thank you!!

David R.The truck we reserved was not available, and we were given a smaller truck. We were using the truck for a move and so we absolutely needed to move that day. We had reserved a large truck and had reserved the ability to pick up from our initial location and return to a location near to our new house. When the larger truck was unavailable, they required us to return the smaller truck to the original location. They gave us a "deal" on mileage cost, but this change required us to drive twice as far with the truck (meaning we spent double on mileage and more on gas), plus we needed to bring a second vehicle, which cost us more gas. We were forced to agree to a situation which cost us substantially more time and more money to get a truck that didn't fit all of our belongings, which resulted in us having to make more trips to get everything. It was an unacceptable solution that we simply did not have the time to try and resolve further. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

In addition, there is a sign out by a major road displaying, one month free how can I be charged? It's a special too. He never apologized he didn't explain who I am getting my money back, no apology nothing. I wanted a larger unit he just said there were none. I think he said it because the line was getting longer and he did not want to look which...he didn't. And on top I received a very strained up unit. Poor service he provided. Don't have his name at this time.

When I raised the issue with the attendant he said there was nothing they could do and said they were not responsible. Clearly there were issues pre-existing as I see there are traps everywhere. Charles S. | Expérience généraleStaff need to be retrained or replaced because they are very curt, and don't know how to speak to customers in a respectful or welcoming manner. The wait at the counter was two long in both instances and they kept walking away without acknowledging me or explaining why I was left standing there. I was assigned a unit with a used/smeared sticky trap in it, which made me very concerned about rodents. To enter the loading dock I have to enter my code on both keypads but consistently there's a problem; my code works perfectly on the first keypad, then I'm denied access on the second one. The parking at the loading dock there is a disaster; it's frustrating, chaotic and dangerous. I'm glad about the air conditioning; that's it. Negative experience overall.

Al the spaces where often used to park large U.-Haul trucks which made it very difficult to particularly load or unload heavy boxes or larger items. Parking on the loading and unloading docks should be reserved for your customers who use your storage. That problem was very often very frustrating.

I found it annoying that the sliding doors were often locked even during facility office hours, and I needed to track down a staff member to use the sliding doors. It was also frustrating that the sliding doors were locked outside of office hours. I had a dining room table I wanted to store at 6 pm on a Sunday and I had to wait until 7 am the next day to store it because the sliding doors were locked during regular access hours.
