I wanted to mentioned Eder. He inspected the truck and he located me at check out to bring a small box he found. It was an irreplaceable ornament from the White House, it could of been thrown away but Eder decided to bring it to me and I was so thankful! Very courteous and excellent customer service.

Online reservations system was beyond disappointing. It hasn't worked for two years. First call to reservation center this year was not helpful and when I did make the reservation (2nd call), the reservation data was entered incorrectly. We straightened things out by going to the U-Haul Parklawn location. They were outstanding. We have rented from that location every November year for >10years to transport equipment for a bazaar and have never had an issue with the equipment or service. Next year, I will bypass on line reservation and call center and go directly to the Parklawn location to make my reservation.

All went well. Chris was very efficient and communicated clearly. The truck was clean and equipped with the pads I ordered. A bit of confusion in the pick up lot but it was resolved quickly. I did the remote drop off and that went well. Overall a very good experience

Quick and easy pickup of the trailer I had reserved. I was in and out of the Rockville, Md location in about a half hour. The trailer worked out very well. I have rented U-Haul equipment from this location before and would certainly do so again.

After I was done In the office with the paper work I was told that I have to walk all the way around the building and look for someone to help me with the truck I was going to get. After a short walk I I found a guy behind the building and was tossed a key chain and told to find the truck I was suppose to get. I didn’t take it very seriously bc I know people get busy and I’m an easy going guy. After I found the truck I was getting, by pressing the lock and unlock buttons on the remote I saw that the bed of the truck was pretty dirty but again didn’t take it very personal. When got inside the vehicle I immediately noticed strong cigarette odor. I quit smoking 3 years ago and now when I smell smoking odor I notice it at once. Again I rolled the windows down and continued with my day without caring too much. Here’s where it gets interesting! After I’m done with my business I went to drop back the vehicle as you supposed to. Went back to the back of the building as I have before (I’ve used that location multiple times) but there’s no one there to take the keys back. After 20 mins of waiting I decided to walk around the building again to go to the front office. Dropped the keys everything nice and swell. Two hours later I get an email that was saying I was charged $150 for a broken taillight. That right there was the straw that broke the camels back. After 30 mins on the phone with one of the employees there sending pictures of the broken tail light back and forth, after I was told that I was the one that had to do the walk around by myself even though the previous times I’ve been there, there was a person there to do walk around a with pen and paper I somehow manage to open the link from the text message I was sent from the morning when I picked the truck up even when the employee was telling me those links expire and I can’t prove anything, they don’t have those pictures anymore and it’s impossible to get again. Then the employee told me he’ll have to call the previous renter and talk to them to see if they’ll confess of braking the taillight promising me he’ll call me right after. Never got a phone call back from Brock (that’s the guy I was dealing with) nor anyone from that location. I’m very honest and practical person and I don’t really care about the $150 but it’s the principle of the matter. I’ll see tomorrow or the next few days if anyone from there will even care to call me back to follow up which I highly doubt.

The execution of picking up with the app needs a lot of improvement. I still had to stand in line and wait for someone at the counter to assist. Would like to see a section reserved so you could pick up the truck and go. That being said the staff was great - courteous and knowledgeable.

The Staff was Not very informative. She did not tell me that I did not have to get the $14.00 insurance in my contract if I have already had full coverage automobile insurance somewhere else. I felt like I wasted my money by paying $56.00 for 4 days rental. What a waste!

find out if the customer is the first time user or not , take the customer to the equipment show her/ him around . was not shown/ told which side was the vehicle parked , had to go back and fourth .when I turned the ignition key millage was 2209 , on the invoice it showed 2208 .otherwise ok
