Downloaded the UHaul mobile app so I could get early access to my rental before staffed hours. The app would not work and I could not get my key out of the lockbox. I have an android phone, and I allowed all permissions when taking photos of myself and my license. I lost an hour of my time and I was on a tight schedule. Aside from that, things went OK. Staff was helpful and served me immediately once they opened. Thank you.

Why is it every time I rent a vehicle the gas tank is at some random spot. When other people return the truck, you guys still charge them for the tank but you never fill it and then next person has to gauge and guess how much to put. I think that is super annoying and my opinion of uhaul is tainted. What a crooked company.

I was so relieved that the uhaul gave me a break. We had so many things go wrong while trying to do our moving...truck breaking down, piano couldn't get moved out of the trailer at where it was supposed to be dropped off, blizzard in Alberta, driving 15 hrs straight to get to drop off trailer. So much went wrong but Uhaul helped us put so much and it was so greatly appreciated! We will definitely recommend to everyone AND we will use you again. Thank you!

Guys were great. But they were having computer problems when trying to due up a contract. No working Printers. But They handled it. On returning with drop off, only 1 fellow trying to do everything with customers lined up and frustrated especially the ones who only wanted to purchase dry goods.

I was rent a 5 tons for five hours and returned on same location and what was the requirements. I was drive the truck for 12 miles and fill the tank with $8 and Gas tank was 1/4 and I was fill the same. And I drop the truck on same location but they charge me $30 for gas fee. Then I went to the regent location where from I rent the truck and talk to the representative one of the girl was there, I was try to talk to her, she was lil rood and ask me didi you take the picture when you drop the key and she told me we can't do anything with your gas fee. But I m renting from them from last two years and first time I had worst experience with them. It's not fear

Make sure that you serve the customer that is first to drop off their equipment. Also, do not be rude to the customer when they are dropping off their equipment. I washed the outside of the truck when I came back. The inside was left the way it was when I got it from them. (Unclean) He said give me the keys. I asked him for a pen to write down the mileage. He never gave me one. He said you are returning it early. I said yes, we do not have time to do anymore with it. He said I am charging you anyways. I was fine with that. He said you did 286 kms! I said okay Well, I will pay. He stated over 200.00 would be needed for the useage. I did not comment. He shoved his cell at me and said I could pay on the cell. I said, no I would rather pay inside. I went to go inside and the doors were locked. I told him. He served another person, and I patiently waited. He took me inside and told me you are using a different credit card. I said no. He said that is what you said outside you would not pay on the cell phone because you wanted to use a different card. I said no, I refused to pay on a cell phone. I wanted to use the hardwired equipment. He then looked at the screen and said. Oh that is 260 kms you did. (Would I have been charged for something I did not use outside? He looked slightly shocked that he miscalculated) I told him I thank you for you letting me use the hard wired system and left. I have used UHaul at two other locations and have never been treated rudely like this. I do not have time to drop it off in the morning tomorrow. I would never treat one of my patrons in this manner.

I have rented a lot from UHaul and mostly so in the U.S.? But my experience over the last three weeks in renting the truck and also the trailer has been anything other than customer focused. I definitely will need to look at alternatives going forward. From calling me two days before and telling me they don't have a truck for me to then switching me to a smaller truck and trailer to then calling me back and telling me they don't have it for me 4 hours later in the day, was ridiculous. In the end and at the eleventh hour, calling me the night before to then give me a truck without Air Conditioning working with no offer of a discount was just added insult to injury. Ridiculous!!

NEVER GO HERE. Employees awful and will not help you. After all the crap they put me through, and the employee actually saying to me "I will not help you" it shows how stupid they are sending me this survey! 2 other clients in the storage building also commented how terrible the service is and the mechanics commented that maybe the employees are asleep somewhere as there was no one around.

I had a trailer for one day and they charged me for 2. At first the worker tried to charge me for 3 days which made no sense. I will not be renting from uhaul again knowing that I was charged for 2 days for being 2 hours past the 24 hr mark of renting it

We were on this locker a year and a half An auto payment went through Sept 20, we were at the store on the 21st to ask for a payment reversal since we have emptied the locker since last month. Manager said no, we had to pay for the whole month, no consideration for loyal long time customers... Won't ever use them again.

Just one miss! Because I rented the trailer for a one way move (?) U Haul offered one month free storage. It was in our reservation but the service person did not pick up on the offer. He charged my card for the first month and I now have to call next month and let your people know to not charge me for second month,

When I rented the truck the tire blew in the back and we bought extended insurance and when we called the roadside assistance they NEVER responded or aided us in anyway..we got a confirmation that they recieved our issue but that's it.. they never got back to us and we were left with a truck full of stuff (our last load) the feeling that if we went back to our place that the other Tire would blow and we'd be in a very bad situation so we had no choice to go the shorter distance and drop the U-Haul off with the stuff inside and then we got charged for that as well. very bad experience. Never renting with U-Haul again.

Better Information. I called in ahead of time to ask what it would cost to clean the truck as it was dirty on the outside. I was told it was $25 but the guy might who inspected it might waive it. I returned the truck way in advance of the 7pm drop off and I wasn't charged after the truck was inspected outside and inside. And now I get a bill the next week for a cleaning. Very shady and unfair practice.

Improve the service level when calling in to confirm or ask a question. Calls to the specific service centre either went unanswered, got put on an extensive hold, or weren't able to answer the question.

Picking up the truck and equipment was fine. That person was eager to help and very kind. When returning the Vehicle the attendant attempted to charge me for the use of the extra covers, which we didn't use. He claimed the seal was missing but there was no seal on the bag. For the rest of the return walk around I felt I had to watch him to make sure he didn't charge me in error. I would recommend U-haul but not the regent location

The website registration is absolutely impossible to complete. It forces you to have a second contact but that person cannot have the same address or phone number that you are listing. It won’t allow work phone numbers or addresses to be used. After several tries I was successful the first time, needing a second unit (because website information was inaccurate about the correlation between unit size and size of apartment/house furnishings it fits) I was unable to book it online as it had already associated all the phone numbers I had used for the previous booking and I don’t have others I can use. Updates to the website content and booking system are imperative.

My month long rent for a parking spot ended on August 11th. I went to pick up my trailer on Regent and got a charge of a full month between August 11th to September 11th and had to pay 94 bucks for a full month that I won't use. I found it hard to get though to someone when calling, 20 -30 minute wait times. Was told by call centre operator that the end and beginning of the months were the busiest time for its moving day ... I found it easier to just drive in than deal with the call centre As soon as I pulled into the Regent facility I had some help me almost immediately ... very pleased.

Every time I have gone to grab items from my locker, the bathroom is always out of order. The septic tank always seems to be full. Also, I paid for a full months rent, and I was out a little over a week after my payment. It would be nice to get a credit for the time I didn’t occupy the space. Great money maker for your company but if someone leaves prior to the end of the month, a refund of the time not being used would be great. Basically a waste of $202 from March 12 to March 21.
