We returned our truck the day we picked it up after we were done with our move (we asked if that was allowed at pickup) the keys were left in the drop box as directed. The next morning the truck was conveniently checked in by an employee one hour after you would be charged for an extra day. We have called 4 times. (Currently on hold for the 4th) 1st time they apologized for their mistake and said the payment would be corrected before it posted (it was currently pending), then the payment went through and my husband called the 2nd time. The lady said she would have to get help, set the phone on the counter without putting him on hold and he could hear laughing in the background. He sat there for 15 MINUTES. 3rd time calling was me, yesterday. I called and the lady that answered said she had to transfer me, when transferred it said call back. I've currently been on hold for 9 minutes and 15 seconds without speaking to anyone. I'm LIVID

First drop off location denied me and my rental stating they were a remote site and was unable to accept the truck (even though it was listed as drop off location) because of the size of the rental. Personal was friendly and called and redirected me to the N Reynolds Rd location. Seems to be a disconnect of what rentals can be returned where.

Originally my daughter had reserved a cargo van at the share site at the Monroe Street site in Sylvania Ohio. She had originally scheduled the van for the previous day but circumstances changed and she had to change the date. When she went to pick up the van she attempted to use the mobile site as instructed at the location. Even though she had pre-registered she was unable to complete the transaction and had to call the service number for assistance. At that time, after spending 25 minutes trying to complete this online oh, she was told that she could not rent a van because of the cancellation and because she did not have a history with Uhaul. About 15 minutes later I arrived at the site and attempted to use the mobile service online to complete the rental. After spending 20 minutes online filling out all the information, much of it repeated two or three times. I was asked to create an online account. During this process the system locked up and I was completely kicked out. I access the site but I had to start at the beginning again. At this point it's been an hour after we originally planned to pick up this van. Extremely frustrated, we called the closest Uhaul store to see if they had a cargo van available. We drove out to the site which was 8 Miles Away and completed a registration with the Uhaul associate in my name for the cargo van. Upon arrival at the actual staffed store after a 10-minute way I was able to speak to the Uhaul associate. Even though I had pre-registered over the phone I was asked for all the information yet again!! Why bother pre-registering? At every site the information was requested again, sometimes two or three times!! Overall, the van was clean, ran well and fulfilled our needs. Do you U-Haul sales associate was very good. The reason I rated you so poorly was because of your absolutely horrible registration process. Regardless of how much effort you put in before you arrive it's basically just a waste of time. If in the future I need any rental equipment I will definitely seek out your competition. This was an extremely frustrating process and put us behind on our move even though everything was pre-registered. Your products and sales people are fine but you really need to work on your system issues. Like having a printer in the stores they can actually give you a decent readable receipt. It was horrible, the receipt I got in my email was much better.

Fuel level marked was not accurate - marked 1/4 of a tank on the rental agreement. Less than 1/8 actual. Attendant marked the error because I caught it and signed it - but before I could continue with the move I had to go get gas. There should always be enough gas to at least get you through a 25 mile move

I reserved a 15 foot truck online a week in advance and was sent a confirmation email. I never received a phone call from U-Haul as mentioned several ties on their website and in the confirmation email the day before I was to pick up the truck. The night before pick-up I received an email saying that the location and equipment changed. I now have to drive an extra 20 minutes and pay for a 20 foot truck. When a call to investigate, the person who answered the phone said they don't actually know what equipment is available in my area (Toledo, Ohio) because he is located in a store in Michigan. The confirmation was absolute waste of time, energy, and money. It did not reserve the equipment that I request at the location I requested pointless. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

This location was okay but we were originally supposed to pick our van up at the Laskey/Monroe location. We got there on time and our phone app. said that no van was assigned to our reservation number. We called the number it listed to call. Nobody answered. We called the U-Haul number and talked to the associate who tried to help us but couldn't and transferred us to another associate who told us that the Reynolds Location forgot to assign us a van, that's why we couldn't use our mobile phone check in. 45 minutes later, we had to drive to the Reynolds location (which was farther away from the place we were meeting to move our daughter. We finally got a van. I asked for a discount because we were an hour late getting our van and the moving crew was waiting for an hour at the location. They agreed to discount us $10.00 which really only covered the extra mileage charge we had to go to a different location. Overall it was very frustrating on a "long move day" when we had thought we had everything covered for an easy pickup. The associates at the Reynolds location did apologize and were nice at least. I feel like we could have been discounted more though.

I hope I'm not charged for the trailer, as I haven't seen the refund process yet. Customer service was fantastic, but the trailers were poorly maintained. I reserved a motorcycle trailer, and when it was hooked up the right brake light and signal did not function. We found the wiring harness on the trailer appeared to have a fracture in it. Attempted another trailer and neither lights worked. Was told that was all the motorcycle trailers they had and I could upgrade to a bigger trailer for a fee. Considering I was hauling a motorcycle this was not acceptable. The customer service was great though. The lady was very apologetic and friendly, and honestly went above and beyond to try to make things right. Obviously she doesn't maintain the equipment though so I would not blame her. All in all I ended up wasting roughly an hour of my time, left without a trailer. Was late to picking up the motorcycle, and had to go and find a trailer from another place. The 3rd party trailer lights worked just fine.

i drove the truck 14 miles (with one couch and 1 mattress inside) and was forced to buy 8 gallons of gas. This is extortion- and in my opinion a hidden fee that is illegal and a poor business practice. I will not be back and I will not recommend you to anyone.

And they guy told me I only had 4 hours and I needed it for a longer time and told me that it had to bed back by 12:00am because someone els needs it. The second half of my visit was nice. The young man who took care of me was helpful & pleasant. Same for the young man who handled the turn in. That was much different than my first visit, a week prior, when I came in to inquire about renting a trailer. On that visit, I was treated like a criminal for parking improperly and then daring to ask a question. The first phone operator that I spoke with on your national line was also not very nice, however the second lady was fantastic to speak with and pleasant. So, 50/50. You have some nice folks and some with a load of attitude.

I would not recommend you to anyone I rented a pickup truck from 1:30 the 5:30 I asked the gentleman if I kept it longer would it be a problem each Act and scene if there was any reservation there wasn't told me as long as I had it back by 8 in the morning that it wouldn't be a problem never mentioned that would be another $30 when I brought it back they wanted to charge me $30 extra for late charge another $50 for a reservation that someone supposedly had and that they had to give them $50 now I live around the corner from their store they swore they called me three times I can prove it didn't call me at all they asked for a second contact number I gave them that too the night that I rented the truck they had two phone numbers to get ahold of me none of them were called and yet they want to charge me a total of $135 for renting a pickup truck I have never had worst service in my life they swear that is your policy I've rented from you in the past I never had a problem but I will never rent from you ever again if anybody inquires to me about your company I would surely not recommend you I apologize but I am very very upset never again

We were told by UHaul Cust Svc to pick up at 5Pm. The staff unaware of the appt and unenthusiastic about helping us. 2 hrs later we left with the box. Poor comm between Uhaul Cust Svc and loc ofc.
