Lora-Lee SUsually good experience, bu tthis time, the U-haul computer reservation system was down and messed up my whole day. Pathetic for a large company. No warning. I used the app and it looked normal but when I got to the location, the manager could not rent anything. No notice that the system was down. Must have messed up your agent big time/ Looking for alternatives next time. U-Haul should offer compensation.

ANDREW CThe gentleman that helped me Saturday afternoon at the Rockdale Ave location was so sweet. He was very humble and made the transaction very easy. I was having a hectic day and needed a truck last minute. I swear when I went in there and interacted with him my whole mood changed. I dont remember his name but he was an older blk man with glasses. He reminded me of one of my very favorite uncles that passed when I was younger.

darell k | Premières impressionsI had my stuff there for 2years and had the biggest storage unit on 1st floor #1207 1 storage away from.the Climate control and all my stuff got mold and ruined ! I had to hiring a cleaning service to clean out my storage and had to get rid of so much stuff I was heart broken I tried to put a claim in and they did absolutely nothing for me because I had no insurance Memories photos dresser's mattress two Ac's about five bags of kid clothes baby crib baby mattress a lot of unopened stuff in toys about 3 bags of shoes jewelry box ,$2000 drum set ! movies a fan An automan , a lot of comforters and sheets! I sped $6 782 for basically nothing I got to save a few things but not those ! So be careful even if you haven't insurance.The guy did say they don't like to pay out.Though just make up an excuse and say you moved it in the rain ! Which is silly cuz I would I move in the rain !

Adam RPerson running this location had ZERO customer service skills. After waiting 6 minutes to be "verified" via the app check in process I asked if he could just do it. I was rudely told to "just be patient" and that it would take some time but eventually go through and that he couldn't check me in any other way. I asked if this was a new process, as every other uhaul place just takes my license, taps a few keys on the keyboard, and has me on my way. "Calm down, it will go through eventually" he said. Finally is goes through and tells me to find the truck. I ask for the keys, "follow the directions" he snaps. I go to open door and he snaps, "you don't need to go outside, just follow the directions in the app." - that's what i was doing... The entire encounter was beyond frustrating and disrespectful. 9 minute process start to verification is unacceptable. I got there at 350pm for a 4pm appt and finally started truck to leave at 4:07pm - 17min to check in??? Will never rent from this location again, and in fact, may just go to penske next time.

Edward O | Premières impressionsLorenzo was very rude. He stated things that were inaccurate and did not act in a respectable manner. I had the truck back within 24 hours and he proceeded to charge for an additional day. When we picked up the truck, the vehicle had a lock on it that we were unable to unlock. We had to spend over an hour traveling to go back to the store and have it unlocked after applying a generous amount of wd-40. I do not appreciate being pressured by Lorenzo instantly upon arrival to the store, as well as being called at 7 in the morning on a Saturday.

DELEXIS CRecieved truck on empty they guy marked it with a pen at pick up on contract and inicial and this guy was trying to charge me and didnt allow my service dog in the office or lobby wich i yelled at him and told him it was federal so he says he's afraid and then he says he was alergic to dogs well thats not my problem..,he was rude there's a little more to the story but i will stip,,the experience was just uncalled for and horrible.!!

DAVID CManager/owner at 105 Rockdale Ave, New Bedford, Ma was rude and wrongfully up-charges fuel for profit… when you first get into van, strong flowery spray was used to mask the rancid garbage odor in the van that you had to roll down window in winter…Fuel gauge DOES NOT work properly…Gas gauge 1/8 difference when parked versus driving…fluctuates when parked and driving in order to up charge customers…BEWARE OF SCAM AND TAKE PHOTO OF MILEAGE AND GAS WHEN YOU FIRST GET IN! I made the mistake of trusting this business.

I am disappointed with the amount we were billed and feel we should be refunded the extra cost

Evan TI checked in online, but that didn't matter we still had to wait for the man to slowly type everything into the computer because the online process just didn't work. The dolly that I reserved was not there so we had to lift everything by hand We also didn't get our rental until 10:30 even though we were there at 9:45 and had already don't the online thing that didn't work. This is pretty much how every uhaul experience has gone for me, so we decided next time we have to move things we will use a different company

Robert RNo bathroom facilities open in the morning, unless and until the office is open, after 9 o'clock. Access is from 6am to 10pm the bathroom should be open during those hours. Customers shouldn't have to leave to go home or elsewhere to use the bathroom.

If the bathroom facility were available during all hours (not just office hours) it would be perfect - but then some storage facilities don't have bathrooms at all!

There's cameras everywhere but he said no. No daily walkthroughs apparently because the stuff was stolen and no help. The general manager was a very nice man. I left put in for my unit to be canceled and your company still took out a month rent. I'm on disability and taking out 120$ is big to me. I am so disappointed in this facility and the fact no one has gotten back to me about my money being returned

It's a rumble strip making it extremely difficult to push a cart without having to pickup items that inevitably fall off. It's really bad but the customer service was extremely kind and helpful.

Unfortunately it was not until 2 days before my move out that I finally spoke to a representatgive on the phone that has put in a complaint and will be having someone call me. That being said Jen and Amber who I dealt with on my last weekend of having the storage were great. The problem has been management there before and the horrendous treatment by customer service and the third party billing company that screwed up my account and then forced me to pay to prevent a lock out when they were holding my checks and cashing them late. I have been trying for a year to deal with the billing issues to no avail and told I cannot talk to the billing company and customer service was horrendous and would not give me any way to put in a formal complaint of all the disrespect I have received. It was not until the Friday before my move out that I got a rep who actually helped and put in a complaint and is having the gentleman from the complaint department contact me. I will never ever due business w/UHaul again. I have never in my life experience such horrendous customer service and disrespect from any company I have ever done business with throughout my life. I have no words to truly express how bad it has been. So my rating for Uhaul would be less than the poor rating if it were possible to give a lower rating. AGain this has nothing to do with Jenn or AMber that I dealt with on my last weekend. But prior to them - the office staff was an issue and the customer service. Scott was the last manager at the branch location that was a good manager.
