FLOL C. | Expérience généraleI made a reservation with Home Depot one week in advance. 4 hours before my appointment time, they canceled my reservation due to the truck being “out of stockâ€. I was able to reserve a truck with Uhaul immediately. I got the job done and it was $40 cheaper than HD. The one thing that I would point out is the plastic area inside the door where you step on is slippery. Be careful getting in the truck. The employee that checked us in was personable and informative. thank you.

He's the only employee that does that….every other one is helpful and does their job. Get people that care about their job, and your customers.

WALTER G. | Expérience généraleThe verification process on the app isn't very good, I attempted to verify my identity for 3 hours before I finally got it to work. I spent 90 mins on hold in total after being hung up on 2 times by your phone system before finally speaking to someone to resolve the issue. I was meant to rent the truck at 8pm, however, I had to reschedule to 7am because of so many issues. When I went into the office at 7am I had to have the manager deal with my rental due to issues and received a rude comment regarding my finances by the manager who judged me and my situation without knowing that I was homeless. His comment made me very mad and upset. I was definitely not happy with the customer service at all and will probably opt to use a different company in the future.

If the bathroom facility were available during all hours (not just office hours) it would be perfect - but then some storage facilities don't have bathrooms at all!

Richard M.The only comments I have is that the van smelled of cigarette smoke which I know cannot be controlled and the windshield had smudges on it which I could not get off. Other than that my whole experience was good. Polite and knowledgeable attendants. Even showed me how to upload my license which I am old school and not tech savvy.

There's cameras everywhere but he said no. No daily walkthroughs apparently because the stuff was stolen and no help. The general manager was a very nice man. I left put in for my unit to be canceled and your company still took out a month rent. I'm on disability and taking out 120$ is big to me. I am so disappointed in this facility and the fact no one has gotten back to me about my money being returned

So after 10 minutes of struggling with the app the customer service person decided to help me. Ultimately it all worked out.

We wanted to buy some shrink wrap but she could not figure out how to charge us. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had a Uhaul. I even got a call Friday morning in the middle on my move to ask me when I would be returning the truck even after I told the girl Thursday It would be until noontime.

SIDIKI C.We were quoted one price over the phone and told the vehicle was in stock and a reservation placed. When we arrived they did not have the truck. The reservation ended up even more expensive for the smaller truck then what we were initially told for the larger truck. Not a good value at all! Not a good customer service situation. We waited approximately 5 minutes to locate the person working as he was outside in the parking lot shoveling. (A note on the door may have been helpful) Once inside he had a difficult time with the computers unsure why his price was so much different than what we were told over the phone. He had to call his manager for help resolving one issue but unable to figure out the price difference in truck sizes. He also took a personal call while in the middle of helping us that was unprofessional.

It's a rumble strip making it extremely difficult to push a cart without having to pickup items that inevitably fall off. It's really bad but the customer service was extremely kind and helpful.

Unfortunately it was not until 2 days before my move out that I finally spoke to a representatgive on the phone that has put in a complaint and will be having someone call me. That being said Jen and Amber who I dealt with on my last weekend of having the storage were great. The problem has been management there before and the horrendous treatment by customer service and the third party billing company that screwed up my account and then forced me to pay to prevent a lock out when they were holding my checks and cashing them late. I have been trying for a year to deal with the billing issues to no avail and told I cannot talk to the billing company and customer service was horrendous and would not give me any way to put in a formal complaint of all the disrespect I have received. It was not until the Friday before my move out that I got a rep who actually helped and put in a complaint and is having the gentleman from the complaint department contact me. I will never ever due business w/UHaul again. I have never in my life experience such horrendous customer service and disrespect from any company I have ever done business with throughout my life. I have no words to truly express how bad it has been. So my rating for Uhaul would be less than the poor rating if it were possible to give a lower rating. AGain this has nothing to do with Jenn or AMber that I dealt with on my last weekend. But prior to them - the office staff was an issue and the customer service. Scott was the last manager at the branch location that was a good manager.

My only issue will be the lack of carts at certain given times of the day. Also can not use the garage door after hours, as it is locked. At the end of the day, I am pleased and my items are stored safely.

Yesterday I went to clean out my unit and there was mice feces all over my mattress. The mice ate holes in my mattress!! Total loss. I'm so grossed out I have to get ride of anything fabric in that unit. I had that unit for six months and it's contents are a total loss. When I complained I was told to call cooperate. What a waste of six bucks! I now have to buy a new bed. Disgusted.
