Original Reserved box truck broke down (not available to me to use)and this location went out of their way to accomodate me with 1/2 ton truck and trailer. Great Service Thanks a Bunch John Cassan

ROMEO EReserved a furniture dollar and they didn't have it made moving my house a nightmare. They told me that anyone can come in and rent it and they don't hold it even though I reserved it a week in advance. Had lift all furniture out of the condo down the hall way. Was a terrible experience, thanks for all the back pain.

VINDER NWe rented a truck for business use . had it for 26days . when we returned it we were told if we opened a corporate account we could have saved money. We were disappointed that we were not told about this at the time of rental so we could have got the corporate rate.
paul bTimeliness of getting the rental. Indicate during booking for customers to add an hour for pick up. Let customers know in advance a third/emergency contact number is required in addition to the drivers and the person renting the van. DO NOT USE EMERGENCY NUMBER TO FOLLOW UP ON THE VAN. QUESTIONS REGARDING THE VAN RETURN SHOULD BE TO THE PERSON BOOKING THE VAN. EMERGENCY NUMBER IS EXACTLY THAT, FOR EMERGENCY.

C BHaving drove from Vancouver Island to Mississauga, I was in constant communication with my destination site. Also, as I arrived earlier than expected, they accommodated the truck and its contents over night so I could get support to unload and store at this location the next day. Keep it up.

Liang LThe General Manager did my refund incorrectly and my deposit did not go back into my account. This location was good before 2020. It seems to have deteriorated and the staff are bery poorly trained.

CAROLINE K | Expérience généraleTruck was good and available when required. None of the additional items ordered were provided (furniture dolly and furniture pads). I had been told the furniture dolly wasn't available when I picked up the truck and that the furniture pads were already in the truck. Tried to contact the location by phone in advance to confirm availability and during the day of the rental and was put on hold immediately and left on hold for 20 to 30 minutes each time before I gave up. At no point did I ever get service by phone after 4 similar tries.
PHILIP DCustomer should not be subjected to documenting the state of the equipment at the time of rental by photographing the equipment and up loading it to the U-Haul web site. This should be the job of the location staff and then verified by the customer prior to departure from the location.
NICOLAS SThe original location that we were advised to drop the truck off to (which was selected from the pick up associate) was permanently closed, leaving us with the inability to drop off the truck. After working with customer service, we then selected a new location, which was another 15km out of the way to drop the truck. When we arrived, there was no personnel in sight - either in the yard or in the store. Finally, we found a gentleman who brushed us off and told us to wait in the yard for someone to arrive and assist with the truck. We did locate the associate in the yard after 20 mins of searching - who we found sleeping in another truck completely unaware we were there. This was truly a terrible experience from beginning to end, and the lack of information on all sides of this rental has been very frustrating.
Katherine HIt took me additional minutes and a lot of frustration having to take photos of the vehicle. Each photo I took the app was not good enough for the app yet it uploaded them. I took 5 of the license plate and it didn't like any of them. After that I just kept the photos. I found this was an annoyance and set me off with a bad taste in my mouth. Van drove very well, was very clean. Staff at this location are very good.

NICHOLOS HSuggest you have vehicle FULLY fuelled before renting. This way it's easy to bring back and avoid friction between employee and renter (I witnessed a very bad exchange between irate -idiot- renter)… I had rented for a one-way on the Sunday only to be told the day before that one way was not available. This caused me great anxiety. U Haul should have systems to advise as I found it very unfair to make me drive empty truck back and incur double the mileage and inconvenience of returning earlier than I desired. PS. I found the staff at the location very friendly and thoughtful on my situation.

DIA IThe trailer was well maintained. Upon return, the customer service rep identified the interior as unclean. The customer service rep did NOT identify the interior as unclean at the beginning of the rental.
R EI called them so many times and always put on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnected.... The gas gage indicator = they said it is half but when I get there it was way less than a half Thirdly.... I was late half an hour.... but they charge me another day with another 16 dollar insurance

SAYED HMy rating is as it is because of the delay in checking out my equipment at the counter. The wait was 35 minutes, far too long. Up to 10 minutes is reasonable. During the wait time there was only one person checking renters out yet several other employees walked in and out but did not participate in checking renters out.

NOEL NThe equipment was good, both on time of rental and return had to wait someone to come to counter and I believe needs to improved, staff was good but need some training and must explain the contract well My total rental extended to 5 days while returning I just returned using only 6 hours of last day. When checking invoice I foumnd that 5 days rental was charged as weekly rental. I would used the van for another day finish my job had the rental staff explained me on that. Now I will have to rent for another day again and pay extra. Please educate them to explain the features a bit more for the benefit of both company and teh customer. This was my first experience and I am overall haapy with Uhaul and would suggest my contacts whenever there is such a requirement. Thnak you.
Zafar AGenerally I have good experiences. But this time the the cargo area smelled very badly. as soon as the back door was opened a harsh garbage smell was noticed. Luckily we didn't need the truck for very long so the cargo was not in the truck long.

Robert CBad experience. The truck smelled like garbage. It was disgusting. They charged us $28 in fuel surcharge for driving 4kms! They claim they told my son who was renting for the first time that there would be a charge for gas if he didn't top it up, but he understood it would be the cost of gas, not some ridiculous overcharge. So the truck advertised as $19,95 cost us $65 to drive 4 kms. We had the truck for about 45 minutes. Very disappointing experience. Won't be back.
TYLER CHello, I have been treated like I am a potential thief. I gave my emergency contact, but the insist to call the contact is not a proper requirement and putting customers into a stressful situation. Instead of that you could simply place a gps tracker to use in case of any theft situation.

RUBN RIt was a busy Saturday morning, yet staff were available and helpful! As I was moving out of my storage unit, they were showing it to another prospective client who agreed on the spot to take it (unit 141, a prime ground floor space). The representative said they would check me out of the unit, there was no further action required from me. I followed up for a confirmation when I returned my rental truck, but was told there is no print/email that they can provide, and assured me that I had been checked out and no further payments would be processed. I would certainly appreciate a prorated refund on my rent paid: payment was on the 12th of each month and you rented the unit to someone on the 24th. From the consumer point of view it looks like double dipping on rental fees.

Eventually I finally spoke with the manager who was the only one that helped me but besides him this whole facility is a joke.

Apparently my locker was the only locker they had on the ground level. So there was 4 people who were smoking marijuana in the parking lot stood outside and watched us load. They Kept getting in the way. Annoying and uncalled for. I was paid up for the locker until the 21st and would not be given a rebate for the time paid. Meanwhile there are these people standing there just itching for me to get out. Worst experience with U-Haul. This location should be reported to head office. On a side note: No I did not contact them. I've had enough failed conversations with this facility.

I had to chat online letting a representative know that I need to speak with a live person right away. It did happen because as noted above..I forgot to take pictures of the empty unit. Other than that the kind mannerism and professional service were always displayed. Thank you for, the storage service right from the start to ending of the contract.

Always clean and well lit. Desk employees really friendly and young men outside knowledgeable and friendly. Just moved and used UHAUL 20' truck. No problems at all. The 3 seats were comfortable.
