Attendant took over 30 minutes to do my agreement, trailer that I was given had an offset transaxle, drove it less than a km and got a flat tire from rubbing against the inner side of the trailer. I had to drag it back immediayely but the location didn't have any other trailers of the same size, had to take a smaller one which was very old and bounced around behind my vehicle the entire time.

When returning the truck your app doesn't work. I have rented many times and each time there are always people standing around the lot trying to use the return app. And when it doesn't work we get charged $20 to return the vehicle?? Shame on you!

I am getting tired of Uhaul making mistakes in general on what is charged on our invoice. We hire often and the last 3 times we have hired, we have had to call up to resolve an overcharge or something on our invoice. Your after hours online return never works properly so twice now its tired to overcharge us. the time before last we were booked to pickup from our local branch and last min we were told that they didn't have a truck for us and we had to go far to pick up. the discount offered did not cover the extra we paid on gas, mileage and inconvenience. I don't know whats going on with your end but I am truly getting tired of wasting my time calling to fix my invoice. I called yesterday to have the over charge removed and even though a $20 credit has been applies, it's still incorrect. Please call me to resolve it. 416-938-6177.

I only used maybe 42 klm and I said I wanted to dispute the milage. I traveled from the royal windsor location to 5536 montevideo twice. And twice to access storage on millcreek rd and I added the milage and its only aprox 42 to 45 klms. I did say that I disputed the milage because I believe I entered it wrong and nobody got back to me.

I was charged after hours service fee of $20. Had to unhook the trailer and park it myself so what exactly is this fee for other than a cash grab. You can credit this back or say goodbye to a customer

Everything was great, however when I dropped off the trailer the said I stilled owed for the rental, but had paid debit when I arrive to pick it up. He argued with me for a few minutes, until I showed him my receipt, then miraculously my payment "released"

The first truck I got into had 2 almost completely flat tires. Had to go back in and tell them and get another truck. How does a truck rental company overlook problem tires? Especially when as soon as you get in, the truck tells you there's a tire inflation problem? Clearly no attention to detail from the staff…… the next truck was fine. It's just a shame that they put a customer through the hassle of having to go back in and get another truck - one wonders if safety is at all top of mind to the staff.

I was a bit lost when returning the truck as i was told id have to leave it with someone personally and perform a self check of the van to recieve my unused deposit and avoid a second checking/cleaning fee when i rented it out but nobody was around to talk to about the process and i was instructed to just leave it in the line and permitted to go. Im worried im going to recieve my remaining deposit 5-8weeks from now and get stuck with a fee. :/

My overall experience was terrible. The location listed above was where I had to resort to after my pro final location screwed up my reservation. This was hands down the worst experience I have had with U-Haul ever. I'm very unhappy with all the extra running around I had to do because of someone else's error.

The call center gave me a call when I booked a 20' truck to tell me it wasn't available (although it was there on the website) and that I have to switch to a 15' or 10' truck, which wouldn't have been suitable for my move. They were not helpful at all and did not explain why there was a discrepancy between the website and what they were telling me. They also did not provide good alternatives! When I went to pick up the 15' truck, I found a few 20' ones parked there, so thought of checking the website and was actually able to change my reservation last minute and get the 20' one that I needed! Not sure what was goin on with the call center team, but there is definitely room for improvement there. Other than that my experience with U-Haul has been as good as always! Merci.

Uhaul gave me the farthest pick up and dropped off from my move. So I had to pay an addition $80 just to pick up and drop off the truck. On top of that I had to wait in line for 1 hour.

I had a hard time understanding the girl at the counter serving me. Her English was hard to comprehend. I had to ask my 3 times before getting the answer to a number of questions. Did the franchise ownership change from a year ago as the counter staff had all changed. Service and rental equipment were in good working condition, but it can be unnerving to instill trust without good communication skills. Outside and Returns staff were very helpful and courteous. I have used Uhaul many times in the last two years and find their service of good value.

The guy hooking up the trailer didn't lock the trailer in and going down a hill the trailer came off our truck and we almost went into a bridge. The trailer lights stopped working on it so we had to swap and they tried acting like giving us a new one to use was top notch customer service. Well doesn't the second guy attach the chains wrong. He put them so tight we wouldn't have even been able to make it out of the parking lot. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told they cannot get a hold on him but they will make sure I get a nice discount for their negligence. We did the after hours return so I just got my receipt now and I was charged the full amount AND she didn't take off the additional $8 for the warranty she promised if we returned it before 9am.

The equipment I booked months earlier was no longer available the day before I was supposed to pick it up, there should be a penalty for equipment not being returned on time as it is very inconvenient for the next customer and I was not compensated at all for the inconvenience and ended up spending hours trying to find a solution but in the end had to cancel and rebook something that didn't work as well and cost me more money. While the location was fine my bigger problem is with Uhaul and how they run their business, the customer service is awful and they are very unreliable.

Getting your keys takes way too long at this location. Your online check is pointless and should not be advertised as it misleads your customers to think their keys are waiting for them and they can go, when in reality they wait in the same long line as others. Either improve your online checkout process or staff-up your locations on weekends. It was a Friday morning with a line out the door and one person working (and more guys "cleaning" returns at 8am than staff to actually hand out rentals).

Hire more custoner service at location. It took me 1/2 hr to check in after I have done it on line. There were 3 work stations and only one employee serving. The representative outdoor that supposed to hook up the trailer and make sure of safety made me do the work and had to be reminded to make sure lights were working on on trailer. Come on uhaul, lets get back to proper business.

It took over an hour to pick up my vehicle, even though I had reserved it online. Twice I waited on hold, and then the person who answered the call hung up on me. Then I had a helpful rep who needed me to add the UHaul app to my phone, and then add a new browser to my phone because the UHaul app and site are both garbage. Finally I was able to pick up my vehicle, and it was parked behind other vehicles. And no one was at the desk to give me the key. Finally, when I asked to extend my reservation, I was told that UHaul had no more vehicles in all of Southern Ontario. I won't be using UHaul again. It's cheap but it's just not worth it. So to improve for the next customer: get a working app and website. Act like professionals. Don't abandon customers who have problems. And don't tell me that the biggest truck rental service in North America is out of vehicles.

There was a wonderful older lady to cleans the unit, she was great & friendly ( i wish I could remember her nams). As this storage unit has 2 levels, they should have a lift or an elevator for 2nd floor units. It is very difficult to move in & out of without the lift or elevator.

I have never used a storage facility before but based on: 1. Location (Winston Churchill and Royal Windsor; 2. The security of the facility; 3. Heated facility; 4. Cleanliness 5. Availability of large or small access door; and 6. The availability of free use dollies; all mean that I would recommend these storage facilities with confidence.

My credit card was charged for an entire extra month for two storage units, despite having moved out. I am now having to spend hours going back and forth with head office by phone, email and chat to get my refund. This location *never* picks up their phone, the call always bounces to the main customer service line. Moving in was smooth, moving out has been an absolute pain. Would not recommend.

I have no complaints about the cleanliness or customer service at UHaul Royal Windsor Storage or staff. A recommendation is for a Kiosk where you are able to check in UHaul vans and/or trucks by scanning and placing into drop box.

The place is very clean and tidy. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 is that when I moved in I was way younger. Now I have a bad back and the storage does not have an elevator. It was hard for me to bring things down the stairs.

Move out date is wrong. We moved out before our month ended but not reflected here. Getting an email that payment was past due was annoying. Other than that, all good.

It took at least 4 long phone calls to set up online billing. I kept getting charged late fees when I had previously set up auto pay over the phone. Unbelievably frustrating and a waste of time.
