Marker lights did not work and were not checked before leaving although manager who hooked me up knew I was going to be driving at night, whole trailer squeaked and squealed sounded like wheel bearings were dry. The manager also hooked the breakaway chains to the steps on the back of my truck instead of the actual point they are meant to be attached that is part of the hitch then took a photo of it. I was also told that the uhaul location would not accept returns at night, conflicting with information on the website (I asked to bring it back at 10pm) and was told I would need to park it somewhere overnight as they would not accept the return if it was done overnight.

No one available at drop off, had to go in to store and wait for new rentals to be completed No assistance was provided to reverse the trailer into the spot.

The cargo trailer that was reserved was not there or available. Had to rent an open box which was no good for my move. Trailer was returned an hour later and was not used. Wasted $20 for a trailer of no use. The lady that served me was very nice and helpful.

1) I was supposed to pick up van at 7:00 AM. Finally got it at 8:15 AM. When I asked if this means that I return it next day at 8:15 (for 24 hour rental), I was told very quick "No, at 7:00 AM". One would think that 24 rental would be from the moment you receive a vehicle. 2) I took liability coverage and was told that roof is not covered. When I came home to load furniture, out of curiosity I checked the roof. Surely enough it was badly damaged. Luckily for me there was already a sticker for a claim on the damaged roof. Just to make sure I called customer service to make sure it is recorded. This should have been noted when they gave me van, and not that I waste more time by calling on already busy day. 3) I hate when they give me a vehicle when gas tank is not full. Hate guessing how much I need to put in when gas tank is at 5/8. 4. I dropped van around 8:15 the same day. Dropped off contract and keys in a drop box which even was not locked. Parked van right in front of their door so they see it in the morning. Called U-haul customer service to tell them about unlocked drop box. Went online, as instructed, to report that van has been returned. Next morning I get email at 10:20 AM with almost double charge. Charged me for two day rental, for full tank of gas that I didn't receive, two days of collision waiver. Nice!!! 5. The only highlight of the whole situation is U-haul customer service that I called 3 times in span of 27 hours. They were helpful and promptly addressed all of my issues. Thank you.

Be polite and patient to customers. Greet with a smile not a frown. Offer to help when there is an issue. Make customer feel welcome not regretful they walked in. Have more staff on shift to help customers.

The application didn't work and I had to talk with an agent for an hour to solve it. In the end the agent could help me to solve the problem but she hung up the phone without saying anything. She didn't even hear my thank you. The next day I saw that I was charged incorrectly. Insurance was charged twice and the convenience fee was also charged but it shouldn't be because my application was not working properly. It was a terrible experience overall I am waiting to see whether you are going to refund the money I am overcharged or not.

Took 30 min to pickup vehicle, and I completed all the online info for express pickup. The vehicle had the check engine light on, and had a message to service the airbag.

Second time I was there that they would not accepts cash; only credit or debit and machines were not working correctly so they had to manual enter credit information. They need new management there that can get things in order.
