Everyone at the location supporting customers are professional and work extremely hard to ensure customer satisfaction The store is busy and it appears that additional employees may be beneficial for the overall success. The current team does an amazing job multi-tasking to acknowledge every person entering the store and those calling in The improvement is increase compensation for the current employees, they are exceeding expected expectations .

Kentisa SWe obtained the vehicle after hours. The location instructions were very poor and very limited. We were not able to locate the exact location of the vehicle on the lot until we called and spoke to a representative. We were also unable to gain information on how to access the keys. Very disappointing! Also, we had to do all of the rental work! There was a lot of work that we had to do before taking the vehicle (photos of mileage, vehicle condition inside and out, etc.). This work should have been done by a U-Haul employee during regular business hours, before placing the vehicle in the location for pick-up.

Sida J | Premières impressionsI would absolutely not recommend uhaul to anyone I know ever. When I arrived there was almost no parking at the location, and then when I went inside and spoke with Pedro he told me there was no reservation for a U-Box after I pulled up my reservation number and information he finally was willing to get the box. Without saying anything he just walked out the front door, leaving me waiting for 20 minutes without knowing where he was going or what he was doing. When he finally did show up with the box he put it on an unleveled surface with the box not on flat ground the hinge could not properly open or shut. While my much stronger brother could force the hinge in place I was able to slide the lock on and off, but there was no way I would have been able to do it on my own. I asked 5 different associates for help and none of them were able or willing to help me. One of the asssociates who i asked for help, walked away and called me a b*tch. I think it is not only unprofessional but 100 % innapropriate to call a customer who is paying that much money for a plywood box profanity when they are only asking for assistance. Other associates i spoke with claimed they didn't know anything about a fork-lift, they needed a manager's help, or they don't know what the problem is. Finally I talked to the manager Andrew who sent someone to move the box 2 inches forward so the door could finally properly open and close. As the uhaul closing approached I called the uhaul location to confirm it was alright if we continued to pack the box after Close since it was outside and we needed to finish that day, the person I spoke with on the phone was mumbling and said he didn't know. I asked if he could find someone who did know, like his manager Andrew. He said Andrew was unable to take my call because he was outside BBQ-ing. To me that is unacceptable, I am a customer who is paying good money for uhaul to move my belongings and as a customer I should come before his bbqing duties. I explained I could wait until he is available but now I want to speak to him. To which the associate hung up on me. When I arrived at the uhaul location, sure enough they were having a loud BBQ party with loud music while I continued to load my uhaul in the dark. Despite calling and explaining I was still filling the u-box they placed the orange cover on it, when I went to lift the orange cover dirt and bugs came covering my head, face, and eyes. The entire experience from start to finish was unprofessional, inconvenient, and just straight up unpleasant. I have learned my lesson and will never be using uhaul again.

EDGAR NThe ratchets on the car trailer were rusted and would not function properly. They were five guys during the midnight hours, trying to release the straps from the strap pitch. Unsuccessful and had to cut the straps. Drop the trailer off after hours. Call the next day to let Customer Service know And he said I will be charged for the replacement of the strap. No sorry the equipment was faulty just charge me extra money for their problem not good customer service.

eddie d | Premières impressionsHello, 3 out of the 4 tires had a screw. We had to inflate one of the tires ourselves by taking it off and running it to the gas station. Thankfully we were able to make it through the time we needed it. And it had all sorts of debree inside. Before we could use it, we had to sweep it clean.
JULIE CThe employees were great and helped me with all my questions and service. The truck was missing some trim peices inside on the door and the inside of the windshield was dirty.
TODD LThe reservation was not ready on time. An 8:30 pick up was not ready until 9, because thats when they open. The app wouldnt allow me to check out the truck because the truck hadn't been checked in from the previous rental. And the staff just seemed put off by my being there. They were not very professional or polite, and called to ask when I'd be back with it, even after getting it to me late.

Charles SStaff was very helpful and friendly on both ends. At delivery time they were very helpful and did great work to help me. On drop off they were fast and friendly. I will only use u-haul from now on.
DARREN KI had completed the online check in and then got kicked out of the system. I had to go inside to re-do what had happened online and the staff was friendly and quickly got me out the door. This is the second time my online experience didn't work out. I'll go inside to staff from now on.

JORDAN IThis location took my rental on very short notice as the trailer I rented at U-Haul of Winter Park had a problem with no replacement. They took the transfer of my rental reservation, got me the trailer I needed and I was out the door very quickly. The trailer performed great in handling the lumber package I was picking up. The return was a bit slow but certainly OK.

EION DVan was not clean and still had items from last rental. The driver side rear tire had a leak and had to be aired up during rental. The van was also missing the spare tire.

MIGUEL SI waant to recognize Anthony for his amazing customer service!! We were in line waiting to pick up our rental and watched him calmly and professionally mmanage two difficult customers. He was also exceptionally helpful in sorting out our rental hiccup.
Steve PWent to try and out my items in storage and was not able to go into facility . Was not told how to operate the doors after hours. Another customer had to help me. Once I finally got into the building , the roll up doors did not work so i still couldn't even put nothing into my unit and now they wanna try and charge me for another day to keep the equipment. That's not right at all.
ANTONIA J | Premières impressionsFirst i was over charged for uhaul dolly, almost double then what i was promised, then they told me people were going to assist me with taking the car off the dolly nobody was there to help so i did it myself thankfully it went ok….. then the storage unit had no ground level storing and I repeatedly told them i dont have anyone with me to help carry my stuff because i have beds, entertainment stands and heavy furniture. I spoke to 5/6 different representatives that couldnt come up with any solution to have a different drop off location. My access code they sent me never worked. then i had to settle for a UBOX and pay more money for that next month then what i was originally going to pay for. I spent all day monday and Tuesday trying to come up with a solution since almost everyone was so helpful. Terrible experience.

Now I've lost my mine and my children's photos, birth certificates and sentimental important paperwork. I've always kept in touch regrading this storage unit and they know I do my best to keep it. My whole life was sold off.

JUSTIN J | Expérience généraleI'm only giving two stars because of the employees. The facility, itself, was a nightmare. Backed up to a full-sized dock to start unloading. Unloaded some of our belongings, by hand, lifting them up onto the dock. An employee came by and suggested he walk the ramp to the dock while I back up the truck to make things easier. It did make unloading easier. When inside, we had access to carts, to move our belongings from the dock, to our unit. Our unit was up a flight of stairs, to a plywood box, with a plywood door, with no ceiling. At least a metal bar was screwed to the door, to allow us to lock and secure our belongings. After we secured our belongings, it was time to move the truck. I had my girlfriend drive, as I lifted the ramp and walked it off of the dock. All said, I would recommend someone pay the extra money to get a different storage unit (there are plenty near the U-Haul facility) and save their back and some time. Maybe I'm being picky, but I expected more from U-Haul.

Tracy P | Expérience généraleWhen I first rented my truck they told me I'd get reimbursed for miles I didn't use that were estimated into my route.. I was short 320+ miles from what they estimated and I didn't get reimbursed. Then I asked them about it and they said I'd get a free truck to use when I moved out of my unit and my leftover miles would go for that purpose… when it came time to move out they told me they didn't do that and I would have to pay for another truck.. Second the unit they gave me for first month free for moving across country was tiny, they said it was based on the size of me truck which was a 15 footer they gave me a 6x8x6 unit that I was forced to stuff all of my things into.. all in all I wouldn't recommend U-Haul for moving or storage to anyone that I cared about.. Third, I was expected to move out three days after my due date and I called to ask about a prorated amount, my andwer was that they didn't sue that and I'd have to pay for a full month in order to obtain my things from the unit past the due date.. poor service, poor policies, and poor overall experience to say the least. I for one will not be using U-Haul again for the remainder of my life and wouldn't recommend anyone else to use them ether..

John B | Premières impressionsThere are 4 bay doors with only two available. A u-haul truck was sitting empty at the one bay only to use. At first they told us it was a customer. After 30 minutes waiting no one ever came to the uhaul truck. We told the manager no one was using the truck. He said it was Not UHAUL. It was a customer. We continued to complain that it is empty and is uhaul's truck . Finally he came out with the keys and moved the empty truck. There were 4 employees in the office including the manager and NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT TRUCK!!!

I was so disappointed that I went thru this experience especially while having my value items in there including my child's stuff. This was the worst. What I would say is that the manger did waive off the fees that I had with them there but I'm still in shock for all my belongings being stolen from one of there employees. The reason I say that is that we never picked up the key from the unit the front desk people had all this time and when my husband went to get our belongings it was most of it gone. They couldn't even find the key to the unit they had to cut the lock. Also there was a current employee that was working there that no longer works there. So I found that very odd. But at the end of the day you really can't trust no one not even if it's business. Realistically I wish I can get all my money back from the beginning of the unit that I have paid because again this is one of the worst experience I ever had to deal with and I'm a not satisfied customer at all. I would never recommend this storage place.

jordan d | Premières impressionsI'm giving 2 stars because of the horrible decision to put storage units you have to access via a rolling staircase. I originally had one on the ground floor, but it turned out to be too small. The only ones available were the ones you could only access with the rolling stairs. It was the biggest pain in the neck. I didn't even know these existed or I would not have stored my stuff there. Also, there are people who are clearly living in those units. There are also homeless outside often as well.

The customer service level has improved through the years. The check in women coordinated the UBox access appointment with the storage unit I was loading into at the South Orange, Orlando 32806 location. Her service was personable and first rate. Jose & his team member assisted me with 4 items I was not able to physically move myself. Their help was greatfully appreciated. There was even a front counter women who assisted in removing a homeless person that was loitering to close to my UBox and she "handled" the situation. Thank you. Congratulations!!! ... Team South Orange, Orlando, FL 32806 for a five star A++ moving experience that I would recommend.

I opted to reserve a 15' truck and consider it a "moving in" cost because this location has treated me so well in the past. The intention was to load the truck, move everything into the loading area at the facility, then return the truck immediately. Living nearby the rental would be for less than an hour. Upon getting my return call to arrange the rental the woman on the phone was so condescending and disrespectful I hung up and canceled two truck reservations immediately then moved out of my storage unit. I have no interest in paying money to be talked to like that. I gave one star because I've actively told friends and family in the area about my experience and to avoid uhaul.

She worked in the "call center" and couldn't move her car right then, so we would have to wIt. After going into the office 3 times, finally someone had to get her keys and move it. It took at least 20 minutes just to have access to unload our truck. When I asked WHY would an employee park where trucks must unload, he said there were no other parking places! Around the other side of the building there were numerous parking places. My advice to your company - tell your employees to park in areas where customers do not need access to park to go inside to do business (I also had trouble parking and purchasing moving supplies the week before). It seems your employees don't want to WALK around the building. How rude and lazy. This 20 minute wait cost me $80. I want that $ refunded.
