There was only 1 employee at the location. Upon arrival, I waited almost 10 minutes before she was able to come out to see me at the designated drop-off. When I informed her that the trailer completely detached from my hitch during the trip, she didn't offer any concession. She mentioned the organization for me to make a claim, but I had to ask her for contact details as she was leaving me. Probably frustrated from being the only worker there, but exuded no concern for our safety, damages, or inconvenience from the event.

Very convenient location for us. Vehicle (van) was fine for our purposes though probably not the best for use in Denver's spring snowstorm. Staff (Donna) was very friendly and helpful. Return process was easy. Though vehicle was recorded as having a full tank and I only drove 15 miles, it required > 3 gals to refill the tank for return. We'd use this location again.

The first truck I picked up ran well. Upon filling it with gas the check engine light came on. It took a couple of calls but they gave me a new truck from the location. It was a much newer truck and I had no more issues. Good team I'd people who made it right and were friendly.

My husband and I had the best experience with the customer service that was provided by two wonderful employees, Donna and Lisa. We have decided that this location will be the location we will be returning to because of the service that was given to us! Staff is very friendly and easy to work with. The location itself is a bit tricky to navigate around especially early on in the day. The equipment I ended up renting (and didn't even end up needing anyways) was in good condition but was also the third unit I inspected before deeming it adequate for my purposes (first two had tires with low tread). Overall I was pleased with my experience at this location and would definitely not hesitate to point friends and family in their direction.

I have never rented from or visited a better storage facility in all my years. This location has best staff and organization I've ever experienced. Even the executive management is top notch. When I moved into this storage, I had a stressful move. Josh and everyone working that day and the following week's, did whatever possible to make my move in worry free. They didn't stop there. In the following months, they never once let me down. I absolutely think U-haul has gone above and beyond in their commitment to the customer and facilities offered. Even the rental pricing was beyond fair. The other storage places raise the rent all the time. U-Haul didn't take advantage of me at all. Communication is always an important tool in life. As long as we talked, a reasonable solution was always found. Thank you to all the staff there for being more than just another corporate location. I would write more, but I know I've said enough. Absolutely the finest experience ever. Thank you again Josh, Antoinette and the rest of the crew.

Michael, who got me checked out and back in did a great job despite having a crowd of customers waiting. Something may have gotten missed upon returning my 26' truck and the 6x12 trailer, as I had an additional rental show up on my credit card statement- I'm sure it was just a matter of michael being stretched thin on the personnel side. After I realized there was an additional charge, I called my friends at the south santafe store, where Franklin dug into the situation and figured out what happened, he was very apologetic and super professional. I'll be seeing these guys again for my next rental.

Answer the phone during business hours. Or at least give the option to leave a message at the location to request a call back. In answer phones redirect to national uhaul # and no option to leave message at this facility.

I called in and they said my rental wasn't due until Tuesday at noon. When I returned it at 6:30 pm on Monday night, they charged me $40 for an extra day (extra day on my contract was only $20) but the bill was $40,89

The U-Haul computer system would not function and allow the employees to check out my equipment. They tried numerous things like resetting their internet router, trying different computers, using their phones. Nothing worked. We spent close to hour to check out a reserved trailer. Not acceptable for a business this large to leave small front end locations without a means to check out equipment when a computer system fails. Where is the redundancy? Where is the paper back up process?

Office parking lot is tight packed with truck and trailers and location sits by High traffic road and just near a large transportation junction. However service staffs are nice and professional. Cargo van is clean but cheapest model that needs upgrade to better one.

Seats were very uncomfortable. When truck returned, dealer wanted me to put it in a specific place and was put out. Would not refund lock purchase that was in original packaging. No refund of any kind for two days early being back. When truck was picked up in Colorado, everyone was very accommodating and pleasurable.

After the really dissatisying experience I had with the Highland Ranch store, the Santa Fe store personnel, 180 degrees from the Highlands Ranch location....I left with a very good taste in my mouth on the professionalism of the santa Fe employees. I was all queued up to write a scathing complaint on the Highland Ranch store when I got a call from the Santa Fe manager who personally renewed my faith in mankind. ALL the employees at Santa Fe are to be commended for their professionalism.

I want to thank Michael, Donna, Lisa, and I didn't catch the name of the young lady who checked out the van, but she has a pretty pink and purple hair. All of them made this experience so much better and easier. Great people. Thank you all so much. 5 Stars all the way! I wish I would have gotten that young ladies name, but she was working with Lisa when I dropped off the van. She needs credit as well for being amazing and fast. I just moved up from Texas. I didn't know anyone up here. I had a bad experience with a U-Haul location in Texas and I have to shake that off. I rented 2-15 ft. trucks with full car trailer to haul my son and I up to Denver, loaded and unloaded the trucks myself, cleaned the trucks after usage, traveled 2 000 miles +, and I am 70 years old/young. The people at the Littleton location were friendly, helpful, and really busy. I enjoy working with U-Haul and I will go to you again if and when I need you. I had a negative experience in Ft.Worth, Texas before I came to Littleton, Colorado. These reps at the UHaul in Littleton were real busy and they still were smiling and doing their best for everyone, it seemed. Lot of activity, but, they kept plugging along. That's why I appreciated their customer service.

The manager seemed to always be available to solve any problems that came up. He was always courteous and polite. He is a definite asset to U-Haul. Probably deserves a nice raise. Not to many like him. I would store my things here again without a second thought. My.stoeage fee was fair compared to the 2 public storage units I rent U-Haul blows them out of the water.

The gate to get into my storage unit locks up at 7pm. After that you can't get in. Which can be a pain if your moving into or out of past 7pm or other reasons most other storage places you can come and go up until 9-10 pm before it locks up. That was my only issue other then that it was great. Vince

We had a storage unit at this location for almost 1 year while we were waiting for our home to be finished out of state. This location was the most convenient to us, but I would not recommend it to anyone. First of all, the storage unit that was given to us had about a 3 inch gap between the ground and where to door should have closed to the ground. This left it open for higher risk of damage to our stuff from environmental causes. We noticed it was one of few throughout the storage facility that had this problem. When it snowed some of our items up front by the door would get wet and ruined, luckily nothing too important to us as we figured this would be an issue later on. The grounds were never kept clean and clear of glass, nails or other damaging items. We ended up with 2 nails in our tires most likely due to the same nails found near our storage unit left for people to run over without noticing. Also one night we were going through some things in our storage unit and were approached by a uhaul employee who told us we needed to leave because it's past the access hours. Not in a professional or kind way either. We paid the extra money for the after hours access and after letting her know that she proceeded to call her manager on the phone and after about a 15-20 minute ordeal things got cleared up finally but it was an extremely frustrating experience and horrible customer service. We noticed it was the SAME employee that was living in a broken down RV inside the storage unit gates for months. This made us feel uneasy every time we were there and it looked very trashy almost like a homeless camp. That is EXTREMELY unprofessional to have an employee (or anybody for that matter) living inside the storage unit facility gates. We had another storage unit at a Public Storage not too far from this location and it was GREAT! We put our more expensive and important items in that storage unit and we definitely made the right choice. The unit given to us closed all the way, was very clean and they kept the ground clean and clear. I do not for see us needing a storage unit for a long time if ever again but if we ever did I would never go back to this location and I would recommend to anyone else needing one the Public Storage not far from this location.

Staff were flustered and swearing to each other in conversation as well as forgot to come unlock our unit for 45 minutes after check out. However, we were helped promptly after arriving and there were no logistical issues. Additionally, upon arrival to unit the next day, staff were moving trucks and equipment around and were shouting at me in my car to move when they were blocking the gate to access units. Overall the experience was fine but training on customer service/professionalism may be supportive.

People here are super nice. As for uhaul the company, if I need a keycard to get into the lot to access my padlocked storage and have 3 cameras pointed at me simultaneously while doing so, don't lock me out after business hours.

Every interaction with the staff took so much time. I stopped in between the gate, cuz with the horrible service my code didn't work and Bryan had to let me out of the compound and while he was talking the gate closed in my back driver side door and scratched bent and dented the door. I hated everything about that experience and am going to get out as soon as possible. Code denial

Hornets, bugs, broken gate that doesn't get fixed. One customer told me his storage unit was broken into, but through the top of the adjacent unit and his belongings were stolen. Staff does their best, but they are stretched too thin.

The front desk associate was very patient and kind on a busy Saturday and the man working outside was running around helping everyone with a smile on his face. It was nice to see both of them working so hard to make us all have a positive Uhaul experience. Moving can be stressful but having people happy to help during the process is always a plus! Merci.

From truck rental to storage rental to billing the entire experience was less than poor. I would never use U-Haul again nor would I recommend anyone else to use U-Haul.

The storage ceiling was torn or cracked. I'm afraid that water is going to leak in. I had no choice but to store my belongings as I did not have the time to look for another storage and needed to return the truck.

The storage area inside was very dark. I also had a bad experience with Mark where he never checked out my unit so I was receiving past notices and whenever I explained the situation to the rep on the phone they just said they were sending info to the manager and I never received a follow up. Very poor customer service all around.

I filed a formal complaint about 4849 S Santa Fe with U-haul corporate. I was in that location twice trying to resolve issues. With no resolution, I called corporate. The full details of my concern are detailed there. I've used U-haul many times with excellent customer service, so this encounter at store 21 was unusual and shocking. The woman I saw first was seriously unhelpful, stating blatantly false information, refusing to help me, and sending me to another location in error. I was in a second time an hour later and spoke to the manager Mark who refused to even acknowledge his employee's obvious misstep or the impact on me - or apologize in any way. He actually threatened to turn me away if I didn't drop the discussion about how his employee completely misinformed and misdirected me in the first conversation. His behavior was aggressive, inappropriate, and starkly unprofessional. I have obvious mobility issues and he mocked me. I don't know why this fellow is working with the public, let alone serving in a leadership role.
