Uhaul headquarters protocol SUCKS! Although you took my credit card by phone with payment, YOU HAD NO TRUCK AVAILABLE JUST A VAN!!! I waited several hours from our scheduled appointment like 4 and a truck showed up. Sheer bullshit on your behalf!!! The people at this location were great!!! It took 10 minutes for anybody in the store to even acknowledge that I was waiting in line, and the fact that there was one person checking someone out while the other person sat and twiddled their thumbs was really infuriating. Another man came into the store behind me and asked if the man would help him, and the employee stated oh I can't help you you're going to have to wait for her. Why not? I understand that he is the person doing inspections on the vehicles, but is he not cross trained to help when this exact scenario arises? I was not exactly in a bit of a rush but I would have preferred to get out in under 10 minutes which did not happen. I even checked in with all my information online and it still took 20 minutes for them to process my check in. Then, when they processed my check in, I was told that I needed to have a credit card on file, instead of a debit card. I don't carry my credit cards with me and I put one on file online. Nowhere on your website does it state that I need to bring a credit card. So I was going to have to drive all the way home grab my credit card and come all the way back. Had I needed to do that, you would not have gotten my money today. So then, the person checking me out used a mobile device to check me in which apparently allows the system to use the credit card on file instead of swiping one on premise with the computer. Then, the app wouldn't allow her to scan the driver's license. Then, the woman and man decided to bicker at each other about which van they were going to give me based off of its location in the parking lot. I do not care where the van is, just give me one. The experience with the van was perfect - it was clean, and basically brand new with 2000 miles on it. When I went to return it, I was met by the male employee right after the location is closed. He guided me to a specific parking spot and then proceeded to knock on my window and ask me to move the van to a different area and snarkly mentioned that he was trying to point me in the right spot, but I wasn't looking. He seemed really annoyed and just over his day. Needless to say some of this was not directly the employees fault, but the customer service could have been better. Had I gotten out in under 10 to 15 minutes, I wouldn't even be writing this, but I think it's only fair to U-Haul to understand why I will not be coming back to this location nor will I be suggesting it to anybody else. The last thing someone wants to do when they have to move heavy things is wait in line for at least 20 minutes when someone else could have helped them to get out the door and on with their day.Elizabeth B.

At first we were told that our uhaul would be at the castle rock location and to pick up at 8am. Us living in Littleton that was a 45 minute drive. When we got to the castle rock location at 8am we were told that it was at the location off Santa Fe. We had to drive all the way back to Littleton after driving 45 min to Castle Rock. We then returned our uhaul the next morning at 9am like they said to do. We dropped it off and went on our way as that's what they asked us to do. Then about 3 hours later we get a nasty voicemail from Mark Martinez saying we didn't return the uhaul which was false information. He was very rude to both me and my partner. When I tried to return his phone call I couldn't seem to get ahold of him. I will not be using uhaul for our next move.Connor S.

I was overcharged for gas ( documented i had 3/4 tank but only had half). Counter rep also commented what a significant difference that was. She fixed it however. others there are clearly not trying or dont care.Angela K.
We originally reserved a Uhaul truck from the Uhaul at the Big Tool Box. They gave our truck away to someone else so we were luckily able to get a truck at this location and still move. Disappointed that Uhaul does not honor reservations two weeks in advance, but glad I could still get a truck even though it delayed my move by over an hour.Amy M.
I want to compliment your employee Lori. She did a great job servicing multiple customers at the same time as getting in a propane delivery. She had a cherry attitude while dealing with point-of-sale credit card hardware that wasn't helping. When I returned the van, she did the check-in. She was a peach.George E.
