I was called by your company after I made the reservation the week before and was offered a 15% discount. When I went to pick up truck and pay the guy said you dont offer discounts and refused to give me one. That was rude and he needs to be informed that you do.

The truck had a malfunction with the braking system and I brought the Uhaul back and shared with them that the braking system was malfunctioning. They share with me that there were others that did the same thing. And I brought the truck back at 7:01 p.m. and I was charged a late fee.

The second time I went that evening to pick up the trailer, I can’t remember the gentleman’s name but he was oh so helpful. He needs a raise. It was my first time hooking up a car and had so many questions and how to scenarios and he was the man to answer them and even jumped in to help me out. Hands down one of the best employees. Then their was Jasmine. She was great also.

Pick up was easy was told we could come back and get the car dolly at 5. Which was great when we got there the lights didn’t work on the dolly , after attempts to fix it , they all we can do is give you another truck! I asked if they were going to help us unload and reload the new truck? They answer was know we don’t do that. There was my wife and myself I’m 69 years old and handy vapored. It is obvious that the the truck was not checked out throughly to start with! Which is there job! I told the Tuscaloosa Skyland group that if anything happened it was on them, they sure didn’t want to help me or know what customer service is about! I have used u- haul to move to Michigan and back, California and back and several places in Alabama , that’s the last time I will ever you them again and tell people about this experience! The morning crew at Tuscaloosa Skyland branch was great it was the evening crew that was the problem

Inform employees it’s very important to explain all fees that could be associated with purchasing a rental. I purchased a rental for 2 days at 1023am one morning. I made sure to ask the rep what would I do in case I needed the truck an extra day we informed me I would just be charged an extra day. Well due to work stipulations I was unable to return the truck at my rented time. At this point I was told I would be charged an extra $50. Something I wasn’t aware of at the time of rental. Very inconvenient. Rep went back and forth with me about the time I rented the truck and told Me I got it an hour earlier than what I stated. That weekend we had a time changed and verses listening to me she just continue to imply I am going to be charge an extra day and 50$. When I asked what that $50 was for she stated inconvenience fee for another customer. Why isn’t this stated at the time of purchase? I could have made the arrangements to get the truck back for another family. I had the intent I would only be charged an extra day. I was charged an extra day plus $50. I returned the truck overnight and the check in process was giving me an error message. I reached out to someone over chat and informed them of the situation but this was the only time I could return the truck. I was charged another $20 for a service that was working on the companies behalf yet I get charged for that as well. Customer service is terrible the receptionist that helped me talked about every customer when they left whether it was one the phone or a customer in house. When you work in customer service yourself you see things in a total different view. This area need adjustments. I will never rent from This company in the future this will be a last resort.

Make sure you’re completely clear and knowledgeable on the expenses of mileage and replacing the gas and all the fees because there seems to be confusion and charges coming off my card a month later

Upon unloading trailer everything was wet. It rained heavily most of the trip. I told the guy who received the trailer and his reply was “I’ll check it.” Never asked about possible damage to property, ever apologized. I felt I was not appropriated or even credible.

Nothing really, Tony Hall is an excellent customer representative! I have used this location many times and Tony is mainly the one who helps me! He is very friendly, down to earth, and an overall great person! He get you in and out of there! It’s always a great experience when Tony is there! He deserves a raise and promotion!

Hold staff members accountable and remind them if customers did not come in for product there would not be a need for them either. Been her twice in the last 90 day horrible customer service to much side talk chatting amongst them selves not engaging with customer need and concerns. I will say this Employee Otis Jackson was trained right and respectful with my time all other staff in store should be re trained

The person who helped me was helpful, but was unaware of all the issues I had prior and to other notes that were supposedly made to my order. I was supposed to be given extra miles for the pickup location change, but that never happened. I told him my issues with the pick up and he was able retroactively fix it so I wasn’t charged. So thanks for that, but I will never recommend UHaul to any of my friends or family because of this experience.

I signed up for self serve pickup, but sill had to go back and forth to sign papers. The truck was dirty with cigarette ashes and butts everywhere. I rented for a day and put an estimated time of return, 10 minutes after my estimate and 6 hours after I rented for a day, I was called to see where I was on returning the truck.

When I picked up the truck both wiper blades had the rubber hanging off of them. The alignment was bad and that was ignored by the worker at the pick up location. Finally the left front TPM sensor would go out agter driving a short distance.

Returned rental at required time had to wait in line over 30 min one of the people behind counter took keys so we no longer had to wait so we left . We were charged for an additional day for rental of truck, insurance, and equipment not our fault that we were still in line after rental return time. Would not recommend.

Go get the truck instead of trying to send me 30+ miles away to get the truck I ordered, wash the truck you did give me, and fill the gas to FULL instead of half a tank.

Both of the attendants, the one checking me in and the other one checking me out, were miserable people. Zero customer service skills and seemed to hate their jobs; which is probably why I was treated the way I was treated. Also, the vehicle I was given was very jerky and a very rough ride. It was clean however.

It was not clear online that my storage unit was upstairs with a portable metal staircase. We had large furniture so it did not work. Also, they lost my reservation for a 16x20 and offered me 2 8x8.
