Please do not advertise mobile check in if the customer cannot pick up the keys for the rental truck right away after checking in online. There were 25 people waiting in a line at the counter and we were told we had to wait in that line to receive our keys after filling out all the paperwork online. We walked out and cancelled our rental. I was very disappointed in the experience.

Called customer service to change our drop off location as we chose 'we don't know' when heading to Cali. Called support to see what we can do, support person was extremely rude and unwilling to help, more concerned about her 40 seconds before moving onto her next queued person. She escalated us to 'support' after arguing with me for 10 minutes saying she is a 'seasoned' uhaul personal and it's 200 charge to change our drop off location. We sat in support queue for around 30 minutes.. Support person we got next fixed out issue in 5 minutes understanding we just need to change our drop off location to a closer uhaul spot. (from 20+ miles away to 5) Not sure who the first uhaul support person was but they were awful and ruined the entire experience.. kudos to the second lady who assisted us / what very nice.

The first truck I was provided had a flat tire. I had to go back into the store and wait in a long line a second time. This put me behind my anticipated schedule. I wasn't provided additional rental time and was told to be back at my original anticipated return time. This whole process took 45 minutes.

Nearly a month after disputing the incorrect charges for my last transaction, and agreement to resolve the issue from the location manager after numerous phone calls and several hours spent, this still has not been resolved. Your customer service protocol is terrible. Uhaul is happy to rapidly take my money by making agents very available to take my call and make new reservations. However post-sale support is terrible and resolving trivial transactional issues because an exercise in endurance for your customers. For example, my average wait time for making a new reservation would be approximately 3 minutes, whereas I waiting at least 35 minutes on two occasions to speak to someone that could help. Even after finally speaking to your customer service agent(s) and having agreement, your local manager failed to follow through and finish their refund. I do not appreciate being slow rolled. I just want my damn money back.

The checkin process was lengthy and required a phone to use for checkin. I was able to find the email, but couldn't complete the checkin as the photo upload process didn't work. I'm still not convinced they got everything they needed of damage to the vehicle that wasn't identified with an "x" sticker.

After renting a truck for my move and assuming it was a full day rental as implied on the website, i was informed that it was only a 3 hour rental when I arrived for pick up. Furthermore i was told I could call to extend that time, but when I did they said they had already rented the truck for a second use and it HAD to be returned after 3 hours (or risk penalties and being "banned from U-haul for life")!!! Long story short I have now paid $90+ for a 3 hours use, and still have a storage unit full of boxes that needs to be moved. This is the biggest highway robbery I've personally experienced, and even though I know it won't happen, an apology and partial refund from U-haul would be the right thing to do.

Staff were EXCELLENT personality & patience wise. The UX systems were not though. We made a reservation & had difficulty accessing on site. We waited in line for an hour. The systems even kept failing your wonderful employees whom you're lucky to have since they have a seemingly infinite amount of patience dealing with frustrated customers in summer heat.

I'm not necessarily blaming the location for this comment. What, when and where I ordered my uhaul from changed! I ordered it from a location on Colfax and for 1 o'clock. It was switched to a location far from where I needed it to be and the time changed to 3pm pick up. That cut our loading and unloading time by 2 hours which made it so we could not make it to the storage unit by closing time. I had to extend my rental into the next morning. The dolly I ordered was also unavailable. It was a fiasco. It took at least two hours of my time to finally get through to uhaul to be able to extend my rental. It all worked out in the end but not without stress and more money due on my end. Very, very frustrating process!!

The truck I rented was clean, but I was confused by the "change oil" notification on the dash the obscured the odometer (I figured out to hit the "check" button). There were enough people working but the one lady could only do box sales. Waited for over 30 min even after checking in on line. Service was average.

We were kept in line for an hour while only 2 staffers worked the desk and were not apologetic about the wait or explained why it was occurring. The website was repeatedly crashing and therefore I was unable to check in online.

Horrible experience. They tried to give us a truck that smelled of manure and had broken lights. We were traveling cross country and they gave no concern for our safety. Also, we told them we would pick up the auto transport the next day. They ended up cancelling our order for the transport and we had to re-order. The GMC truck was horrible. No power. Whenever we would accelerate, the air conditioning would go off. We were traveling through the desert in the middle of July so it was terrible.

Absolutely horrible experience. We asked for help loading our car onto the transport and even said we would pay extra and the UHaul representatives flat out refused. They said it was a liability to Uhaul. So, we loaded the car ourselves using just our knowledge of how the equipment worked from watching other Uhaul workers on other times we used a transport. We were not comfortable, we went to another Uhaul to get some help. Also, the transport had bent and rusty rims. It was just a disaster waiting to happen. Don't your employees care about the safety and protection of it's clients and their property? We will never darken the doorstep of this place again. The workers should be fired.

We commend the team that picked up the containers. They contacted us to let us know when they would arrive and they were right on time!! They asked if we had any concerns before retrieving the containers. They were great and I commend especially the supervisor! GIRLS ROCK!!

The times that I had been coming to the storage, I had found 2 people living there when I tried to look for my stuff in the storage, I was afraid to go there,and I have told 1 of the employee what I saw,I will never be able to rent my storage in that location and anyway it's very expensive to rent there

Tyrone the manager was amazing. I would recommend 100 %. He didn't everything he could to get me my rental for 3 hours. Their computer system was down and unable to release vehicles I booked prior and everyone else after couldn't get their rental. Not his fault. Your computer system crashed and he handled it very well.

I made an on-line reservation on U-Haul.com to rent a 26-foot truck for 2 days. When I arrived on time at this U-Haul location to pick up the truck, I was given a contract for the truck rental that had very different, higher prices than what was on my online reservation. I was told that what I had printed out showing the online reservation pricing was just an estimate. However, there were firm costs that didn't vary that were higher for no apparent reason. I was told that my only recourse was to contact the store manager later on who wasn't in at the time of my visit. When I entered the cab of the truck that I was offered for the rental and started the engine, I saw that its gas tank was on EMPTY. Yes, they were going to rent me a truck with no gas in it, and I was told to go down the road to get gas, and if the truck "died" on the way to to gas station, to call the U-Haul customer assistance line! On the contract they gave me, they were supposedly crediting me for the cost of the gas, but the credit was only enough to cover 50 % of the cost of the gas that was required on the contract to be in the tank upon return of the truck. On top of this, the transmission indicators were invisible due to their light bulb having gone out, so in order to drive the truck one had to GUESS where to place the gearshift. It was also admitted to me that this truck had been stolen and recovered, and that is why it was in the terrible condition that it was in. After I told the U-Haul representative that I refused to drive a truck that had an invisible gearshift indicator and no gas, they finally cancelled my contract and gave me a new contract for a different 26-foot truck that had a half tank of gas. The only defect with it was that the air conditioning wasn't working in the cab. Why couldn't they have given me this other truck to begin with? Then I was happily surprised to see that this new contract had the correct pricing that I had received online, not the inflated pricing that they had given me before on the first contract for the defective truck. Since the lock on the back of the second 26-foot truck didn't work, the representative was nice enough to give me a lock to use for free. After spending close to 3 hours trying to get the rental truck, I was finally able to leave. Overall, I regretfully have to say that this was initially a nightmare until I was finally given the second truck.

I reserved a truck at location "X" but was told I had to pick it up from location "Y." It ended up being not too much out of my way but I was going to walk to location "X" to get and return the truck, whereas I had to drive to location "Y" therefore spending more time and gas to get to this other location, which was also about 4 miles of additional driving in the rental truck causing me to spend more on mileage and gas for the truck. Not a huge difference but I wish I didn't have to pay for UHaul not honoring the location of my online reservation.

Costumer service: Employees have poor experience on how to hold costumers and to mention what costumer to do before after the rent. One of the employees lied me. She gave me document as the tank is full of fuel, but I drove only six miles and then I fuel back the gas with 32,59 dollars about 7 gallons. How this can happen? Can you drive only 6,5 miles with 7 gallons of a gas? On this, they charge me extra money of: 29 dollars, $14, and $10 which is totally 53 dollars. Sad ! What I was expected to pay was only 19,99 and 5, totally $24.

I don't know why I received this in Spanish because I do not speak it. The U haul storage experience was a blessing to have a place to put my belongings while homeless. None the less, I felt they took advantage of my homelessness and gave me a unit that the lighting was bad (time out every 5 min). Also, it appeared someone attempted to pry the lock off in May, which forced my hastened my decision to move out. They did not refund me for the 20 remaining days on rent. Also the one and only cargo elevator was often broke or way too busy!

Horrible experience I don't suggest this place to anyone staff is rude and useless. Price that i was givin changed on the next month . You will get stuck on the 2nd or 3rd floor due to there only being one access then you have to wait for useless to get off there phones to come close the elevator so you can leave. Worse experience I've ever had with Uhaul you need to fire everyone and start over. Also if you call the manager you will never be contacted I got screwed out of a month's rent because the fire department shut the building down for 4 weeks. I called and left 4 messages all polite and got zero response.

Everything has been fine except for move out day when cat or Katherine was very rude to my kids and then to me she was disrespectful to us and was cussing at my children and me calling me ghetto and saying no wonder my kids are like this I really didn't appreciate her behavior as a manager she was out of line and very unprofessional that alone makes me feel like the year and a half was valued she will never get any of my time or money ever again... She needs to take some time to remember all that's going on in the world and how the world hates black people before she violated me and my children because were black.

I rented a truck to go one way from Kentucky to Denver. I then rented a storage unit in Denver. Literally every single part of the trip that involved U-Haul was seamless, easy, and a great experience overall. I strongly recommend them As an aside, I previously rented a storage unit from cube smart. I will never do business with those folks again

The only complaint I have is that I walked into the U-Haul office on November 1st (the day my rent was paid through auto pay) and asked the following… "if I rent a truck from U-Haul today and clear out my storage today, will I get any money back on my rent that had just been paid for the entire month of November?" I was EXTREMELY disappointed to find out that I would not get anything back. I think that is ridiculous and unacceptable. At a minimum, I should have been given at least 1/2 a month back, knowing that you will likely re-rent that unit w/in 2 weeks. I was beyond disappointed in U-Haul as a company as a result. My family has spent quite a bit of money at U-Haul over the past year, and this situation will cause me/us to think twice and find alternate options the next time I need a truck or storage. Big fail on U-Haul's end!!!

The workers never closing the elevator leaving people stuck up stairs. No one answering phone when u push the emergency call button. The card swipe is all way broken so we sometimes have to walk to go get someone that's already doing something. Short stuff. It could use improvement fast

Andrea is a very pleasant and helpful manager. The others team members were attentive and friendly. The young man that explained and showed me how things work was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The facility was clean. There were not enough rolling carts to go around and luckily the person next to us was just finishing up with his cart. The elevator stopped working and should be checked. Luckily we didn't need it but the other group of people that was there did need it. Overall I would recommend this location to others.

I rented the storage unit in April and couldn't get my stuff out because I couldn't see. I've contacted U-Haul through email stating that it would be fixed soon and wasn't. I left for FL in June and came back in August and still the light didn't work. The only answer I get since April is we know and working on it. When I have the chance I will contact the BBB and made sure O took videos of the lights not working and kept the emails stating you were going to fix something you never did and still charged my account.

The general manager Andrea is absolutely AMAZING!! I had a HORRIBLE experience at the 750 s Buckley location and went over to her store and she was so apologetic and extremely helpful to me! She accommodated me to the fullest! If it wasn't for her U-Haul would've had me going psycho! I recommend this store and ONLY this store!!!!

The building housing my storage unit was clean and well maintained, however the restroom no so much. When you are moving in, or out of a storage unit depending on the size of the unit, or how much time you spend there, at some point you are probably going to need to use the restroom. I was typically in and out of there quickly, but the couple of times that I did need to use the restroom it was below standards in my opinion. Was it the most disgusting restroom that I have ever seen, no it wasn't, but it needs more thorough cleaning, and more frequent attention, especially given that it isn't a public restroom, so not just anybody has access to it. The only other problem that I had was that I moved into the unit in late May 2021 with the promo of 'One month free'. Before I completed my first paid, and first free month I received a notice of an increase on my rent. One of the reasons given was to ensure facility upkeep and cleanliness! This is the same facility that doesn't keep the restrooms clean! Bad move. First of all I just moved in and you are already increasing my rent! On top of that you say it's to help keep the facility clean, and I don't even want to use the restroom because it's just not clean enough??!! That's a hard pass for me. I immediately gave notice to move out. The general manager said that she doesn't decide when the rent is going to be increased, which is probably true, but software is a thing. They should have a program that can flag the move in date of each unit, and send an increase based on when you moved in, not just the same random date for everybody!! It leaves a bad taste when you just moved in!! At the end of the day, I found a facility that is much closer to my home, super clean, and at a price that I can live with! Having said all of that, the staff was always friendly, though the wait could be long sometimes even with just a couple of customers in ahead of you. Overall it was a fine experience, but could have been better.

I got a charge for a month for a uboxes I used to had when I didn't have them anymore cause I rent with them a storage facility, even that I downloaded everything on my U-boxes before my due day and did everything I suppose to do to don't get that charge. But even that I get charge for my storage (obviously cause I was renting it) plus the two U-boxes. They suppose to give me a refund until now having get it!!!!!

We were dealing with an unexpeted situation that day, so finding a place that has truck rentals, AND storage facilities was awsome! We had previously decided to use a storage facility in Lone Tree, (which is VERY CLEAN) and closer to were we live, but having been given a unit in your newer building across the street which is also clean, AND brightly lit, we just decided to take advantage of the convenience of what you offer. Now when you are moving it takes time, so at some point you are probably going to need to use the restroom. That is where you guys fell down a little bit. While it wasn't throw-up inducing disgusting, it could have used some attention. There was dried #2 residue in the toilet bowl. The fact that it was dry, and would not even flush away after a couple of us used the facility indicates that it was probably left there from much earlier in the day (or maybe even from a previous day), and is really not acceptable. The bathroon should probably be checked AT LEAST once an hour, and the employees should be required to bring the proper cleaning materials with them EVERY SINGLE time, so that they can address whatever problem they encounter. They aren't going to use their hands to clean a dang somewhat public toilet, which is obviously understood. That's why they need to bring a toilet brush with them (or maybe even leave one in the bathroom) because NO ONE is going to steal a nasty toilet brush. Cleaning the toilet regularly will also cut down on stinky bathroom odors. We got hungry at a certain point and ran to grab some food to bring back to the facility (we ate it on the curb outside), so we needed to wash our hands. Dealing with the bathroom right before eating was frankly, GROSS! Other than the bathroom, I was quite happy with the experience. All of the employees we friendly, and the guy that helped us was great!

Bathroom stalls weren't clean , the uhaul truck burns yo much gas and the truck only goes 75miles an hour which took forever for us to make it to my destination But orther than that all the staff went out of thete way to make sure I had a good experience

The manager of the U-Haul Storage on Havana and Exposition was friendly helpful understanding and work with me for 4 years the manager Richard in my opinion should have a raise and if needed I will be using this U-Haul Storage again in the future

The security was bad couldn't access with card and the lights were out on the second floor. The employee I dealt with had no idea what was going on. Had to reset card and then they had to leave door open . Not safe.

The only bad thing was the elevator that broke down multiply times during the 2 years I was there. The cleaning ladies get a a+ for helping me pull open the elevator door cuz of my knee surgery on many occasion.evrrybofy there was kind.

This is the best storage, rental facility that you could want. Immaculate. Professionally managed by Rich Asher who not only makes this Aurora location the best choice in Greater Denver but really knows his business. I rented trucks and storage for over two years. Always the best experience. Living over 1700 miles away I had no concerns about my belongings. Many thanks to Mr. Asher and his team. See you when I return.
