I walked in and an employee was helping a customer at the desk, I got in line to wait my turn. I then hear this really quiet voice asking "can I help you" but I can't see anybody. The guy was sitting really low behind the desk. Never got up. I went over and I started checking in. The employee was so quiet and mumbly I had to ask what he said multiple times. It was like he was fighting to stay awake. Equipment was great.

The general manager was very helpful earlier in the week but when I returned a truck the workers were not helpful. I booked online and was told because I rented a uhaul I would get an additional storage month free. When I got to the location, the workers said that offer is no longer valid. The workers said they would charge me $25 if I didn't fold blankets that cost $5 to rent. That was outrageous!

I signed on on uhual online for a 12:30 appt, then went to the facility and it was changed to later in the afternoon. So I showed up and had to leave without an install, they said they would take $30 off so I did not cancel and made another appt. At the 2nd trip they installed it but did not did put the heat shield or appearance panel back up! so I had to make another appt and go in for a 3rd time to have it finished. They tried to make it right and gave me $30 off and a free $8 cable organizer. But since it takes 30 minutes each time to get there I would have probably done it myself.. Especially since the hitch on Amazon was $60 cheaper.

When I loaded the auto transport I discovered the drivers side front was almost flat, it had 10 lbs of air in it. Fortunately the man I purchased the vehicle from had a air compressor. We aired it up, you can hear a very slight air leak, there was a pinhole deep in the tread of the tire. I made it home with no problem and reported the issue when I returned the trailer. Lesson learned, check the tire pressures when you pick up the any equipment. No I didn't hit anything on the road, my destination was fifty miles, all freeway.

Make sure you have the customer inspect the truck be fore driving off in rental with service person. I found cigerate butts in cab on passenger side when I got to my location.

The reservation system was horrific! The first agent spoke with me for several minutes. Was very slow, had a low battery smoke detector warning beeping in the background. Finally said she had to send me to an availability specialist, then put me back in the same line. The next guy hung up on me after several minutes. Called back and finally spoke with an agent who could set up the reservation. This was truly a pathetic attempt. I don't know how you monitor your at home reservation specialists, but this was unacceptable! Luckily the final rep was able to set up the reservation, and the young lady at the Bedford store was great.

Explain exactly what the charges are, review the truck with customer, equipment seems to be Rigged? I hit 5 miles in less then a mile, on the tachometer, 5 miles added, physical movement less then a block?

This was a fraud charge !!!!! I haven’t dealt with U-Haul in two months sense my actual ubox and storage was cleared !!!! I have never been to Bedford Ohio !!!!! You took my money !!!! Still have not refunded it my bank account is now on fraud alert so what money I did have left I can’t use I had to go take out a loan .... I want my money back and the money for the loan considering I had to take it out because of you after we have used you guys for several military moves had a storage unit for over two years and then a u box this is rediculous I want ALL my money back the money you took and the money I had to get because of YOUR fraud !!!!

Truck was clean. Mechanically terrible. Transmission shifted terrible. Steering was awful, truck was all over the road on the highway, could hardly maintain the lane.Air did not work, it came on but nothing came out of the vents. Same with the fresh air vents. I have been driving fords for 35 years, I know what to expect from the way the tranny shifts & the steering. The last time I had to move some equipment I experienced the same steering problem. It is obvious that they clean the vehicles but they are not maintained. I white knuckeled my drive time. It would have been a total nightmare if I had rented it to go a long distance

I was sent a confirmation e-mail with a time and location. The truck was not there at that time in that location. Called U-Haul who told me that the location hadn't been finalized. 15 minutes later, the truck was reported as ready at a different location. Very poor organization. Not impressed. The U-Haul itself was fine and served it's purpose to move our things with ease. The people at the physical location were pleasant enough, but this was overall an unpleasant experience due to the scheduling issues and the lack of help from the people on the phone.

I originally ordered the uhaul pick up in Euclid, but then UHaul made me pick up in Eastlake, making me go over my miles. And when we dropped off, we stood in the cold waiting for almost 10 minutes, but it was OK. What should I have expected? not sure. He should have comped the miles from eastlake to euclid

Reservation was confirmed for 14 miles closer than final pickup location confirmed. Don't initially confirm a location then change it. Tell the customer up front where are the equipment is going to be so they can commit to that location. I want to stress that the pickup location and the employee that assisted me we're outstanding, but it was because it was 14 miles away from where I had received a confirmation for pickup that the rating was given.

The driver side door was really hard to open and close. In case of an emergency it would've been really had to get out or in.... really dangerous and scary.

This location was very clean. The employees were extremely polite, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. I had an issue with my transporter because the strap broke while I was traveling down the road. I don’t fault the employees for this issue. However, I don’t know if they’re required to check the straps before/after each rental. Again, I had a great experience at this U-Haul and will definitely be using this location again in the near future.

I went to my storage unit and was locked. I called the number on the paperwork and was connected to an unknown location that told me they left a message because the office that I was trying to contact was busy but when they get the message, they should come unlock the unit. This was unacceptavle so I had to drive back to the office that I got the storage from and talk to someone in person. When I finally got unit unlocked,, it was severely undersized and would barely fit half of the furniture on my truck. This was the unit that a Uhaul rep recommended to me when I told them all the items. I was forced to find another storage unit last minute. When I finally returned the truck, I was told that I would not receive my $16 fuel credit because it was supposed to be at 1/4 of a tank and it was just under. I inquired as to why I didn't get any credit or courtesy for the inconvenience of having to drive back to the office when my unit was locked and was told that I had been credited 3 miles ($3). I was forced to drive the truck back to the gas station to add $5 in order to get my fuel credit. I was highly disappointed with the service I received overall. Your staff did not have any empathy or understanding of how long and frustrating my day was. They didn't even apologize for the storage unit being locked.

I received an email shortly after making my reservation that my storage would be at 19000 Rockside Rd. There was no mention of having to go to the Broadway location to do anything.
