NAWFEL SI call they said they had a truck for a one-way from Toronto to Hamilton. They call me back an hour later. They say sorry we don't have that you need to get one that goes to Hamilton and back. I go OK I ask if it's at the same location they say yes it's at the same location. It's fine I go out there. It's not at the fucking location. They say sorry we don't have that. You can either go to this other location or have a month of storage how am I supposed to get my shit to the storage? They eventually go OK we can give you a truck for the night but you can't have it for the 24 hours that you're paying for OK I need it so what the fuck am I supposed to do? I drive six hours pick up this shit in a snowstorm and drive it to where I'm going and then I still have to drop off the truck because you can't organize a goddamn truck company

EDWARD CSmall and uncomplicated move of a few furniture pieces made complicated by the key fob splitting and breaking off of the key shank making it impossible to start the vehicle. The problem only became worse whilst navigating your phone administration process.

Ernest LTrucks are not parked properly. Took me half an hour to get out of the parking lot. Because people parked all trucks blocking the roads. Also my truck didn't have any gas . It gave low gas warning right away with 25 miles remaining on current gas.

LEON KI rented a u-haul van at that location for couple of hours and left my personal car on premises. When I got back with the Van, at my biggest surprise I found out that someone hit my personal car on the side and run. I asked to see the videos taken by the cameras but was told by the staff that only the manager has the ability to view and provide access to the videos and somehow I was told that the manager was very busy and couldn't assist me at the moment that I should leave my name, phone number, number plates and color of the car. I was very disappointed with the way they dealt with me as a customer like I'm nothing or didn't just made them money. They don't care for their customers, they don't put the customer first and to be honest what the point of doing business with someone who doesn't respect or try to listen or take care of customers concerns? To summarize it, the place is being run by morons, yes. Their degree of stupidity is beyond comprehension like their don't understand that no customer no business.

PRAJUKRISHNA RI was directed to this drop off location which was 20km farther than the location on my reservation. The extra distance exceeded my allowance and I was charged for the additional km. Since this was not my choice, why am I being penalized?

Paul TWhile the online check in process is not too complicated, the self inspection of the vehicle all sides , roof and inside with a phone camera and uhaul app is a bit too much for seniors, physically and technologically. it would be beneficial if a staff could help anyone who is not capable of using the uhaul app for inspections.

Augustus RI have being renting from this place 25 yrs. The not as used to be and trucks are very very old comsume lot's gas and smells bad like weed. I m keep asking at the reception give a new truck and I'm seeing they r parked at the back but never bother to give me a decent one. Also, most I rent the 10 foot truck so you have lot's of it. The people at reception gave g a hard time to speak English.
NISHARA VThe truck provided was not very safe to drive. The steering was out of alignment all over the road. Speed vibration from 80 km to 120 km -the whole truck shook the entire time. The drivers side requires a new front tire. Could not put a cup of coffee in holder as it would just shake out all over floor. The exhaust was very loud. Headlights were very yellow - it was very hard to see 30 ft in front of you and especially in the rain good luck. I advised the yard guy about these problems when the truck was dropped off.

VICTORIANO TIt took too long to finish the registration process, then even longer to finish the pick up process. Then the app closed as I was in the 'take pics of the vehicle' process, and I went back inside only for them to tell me it doesn't really matter, just take pics for your safety. Not to mention it took me long to find the car and it was shoved in a corner where I couldn't take pics of the side without moving the car out. Also, I didn't have place to leave my car because the workers said either park it in the middle or put it somewhere else, mind you there are limited spots in the middle and most people, even the ones not renting a uhaul, park there. It all should have been an easy and fast process, instead it took an hour (and I am not exaggerating). I should also say that most of the customers who were there at the same time as myself were pretty frustrated, some even angry. It's not the workers fault, they were trying to help all customers but the issue is everything has to be done online, by the customers, even when the customer is right there in the store... It should have been much more simple, this service is supposed to make things easier, not harder.

JEROSALEM Pthe booking system is misleading and causes alot of frustration. i booked on call with assosiate they took my card number to make a booking. i confirmed that i will just need to go and pick ip, yes? they confirm yes, that someone will call me to confirm the booking van and storage. So, when i reached the facility to pick up van, i was told theres not booking. then again when i reached for the storage, i storage i had been assigned was no longer available cause more frustration and delays.

I went to the office four times a week to get my extra deductions back and each time I was told the manager was not in and that the manager would call me but I never got a feedback. Today is the fourth time and they told me I have to come back for a fifth time. I don't understand how difficult it is to get a refund on a tour and the manager is always out of office during working hours, please give me a reasonable explanation?

U-haul storage was not my first choice, but due to limited time to move-in and return the truck I opted for a more expensive, smaller unit, and without elevator access, instead of going to the competitor. If I had more time, I would have opted for another storage facility.

I had a difficult time with the app, having to change my password repeatedly . The storage information did not show up on the app with my truck and move company reservation. Most importantly I was told clearly the first month was free several times until I got to the facility. I drive a fair distance for that be wfit and could have paid to choose another facility much close to me.

My only suggestion, is they need to have more people working the counter stations. Especially at the end of the day near closing time. This is my only criticism. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with my experience with U-Haul storage. If they had a larger storage unit , I would have continued to be a customer.

I had the option of paying at the counter or completing the transaction on line. I choose at the counter. When I arrived I was told the locker wasn't available anymore. I assumed they meant because of me. The staff said no, someone else rented it. When I asked for an explanation they said is was on first come basis. I don't understand how you can book online and have the store override the transaction. As I already booked a truck I was forced to take a smaller unit.

Not clear on how security is maintained at night. No security gates. Also I would recommend dropping the $10 charge for 24 hour access since anyone can get into the area at any time of day or night so what are you paying for?

They took a few days to resolve the issue and wanted to double charge me for a new one. The sales rep who said that she was acting manager wasn't very nice. Thank God I'm out of there. My boxes were damp and right from my first day there I had a terrible time trying to close the locker door (I also had two friends attempt to close it and both struggled as well). Additionally, every time I opened the door or shut it a bunch of sawdust (our what I believe to be sawdust would fall on me). The containers were not in good condition and I was not willing to risk having my stuff in there during the Winter months.

Not informed of this when I accepted a 2nd floor unit. If I had known stairs were involved wouldn't have accepted a unit on the second floor.

Get retrained so that the staff don't get the full brunt of the criticism and harassment because of your blindspots. I would never buy a franchise for that reason. The company is losing millions and they don't know it and probably do care. So sad. Get the president to become ab undercover boss if he/she really care about the huge losses.
