Your self service drop off is not a clean easy process. There were constant issue on the app and we had to continuously ask the sales rep for help. She was kind of helpful but also reminded me that they no longer have agents to support that this was all self serve.

Reservation took over an hour. Our move was massively delayed. Manager was passive aggressive and walked through reservations with other customers at the counter however very cut & dry about forcing me to handle my own reservation online despite selecting "counter check-in". This is not the first time she has changed our check in option to mobile instead of counter check-in. Other staff are okay.

I put no on the question.about the vehicle being clean because, while the vehicle was well maintaned, there was so much dog hair on the passenger seat and also human hair all over the car which was being picked up by coats and bags. Vacuuming that out would be great yo make the vehicles suitable for everyone, including those with allegies. Also, seating on the passenger side was a bit uncomfortable as the seatbelt would squeeze tight after locking, making it impossible to stretch.

They scam you with gas charges and services. I got 20 ft truck and drove it for just 6 miles. I got the truck with minimum gas already, but there is a rule to give back truck with 1/4 tank full, which no one explained while picking up. I got ripped off for roughly $70 extra.

When someone is waiting, there is no respect for the customer's time. Manager had to intervene for the agent to do the right thing. It took 45 minutes to pickup a truck. Truck gas tank was literally on EMPTY. Good thing, it went up to the nearest gas station. Giving a customer a truck on EMPTY tank is totally unacceptable. Software was not working as expected in the phone. Still, the only reason I'll go back is for last minute booking because there are more trucks usually. This rating is for this particular rental. In the past, it was ok.

The vehicle was given to me with an empty tank of gas. Once I exited the depot parking lot the gas light comes on thereby creating an unsafe situation for me. With panic and frustration I made a mad dash to the nearest gas station.

The customer service rep is rude. They don't instruct the driver properly where to put the key and what to do while returning the truck. One more thing, I already return the truck around lunch time and they called me around 7pm and asking when will I return the truck. Poor communication instruction to customers.

I don't like that u haul takes forever to help customers and just brushes customers off! Rude, no help! I went through 3 agents in person before a younger lady helped me and still she couldn't help because everything is online now! Human interaction is better than a blind, your system is horrible and glitched the entire time it took almost 2 hrs to get my truck which made me miss my storage unit and I had to rent the truck for an extra day! I will be complaining about that and I want my kk ey back for that day!

First Issue, Attempted double-charge for 2 periods (it appears this was fixed by itself later in the reciept and I was no charged extra as of yet. It is still stressful to see a wrong charge) I was told by the receptionist that I had untill midnight to return the Uhual. Second issue, the Trolley became undone (unsealed) by itself just by me driving near the end, while driving towards the Uhual dropoff. I NEVER used it. Final issue, the parking was crazy and hectic because everyone had park their Uhuals in a non parking spot which also forced me to park in a random non parking spot.

When I asked the receptionist to add few more hours during counter pickup, originally it was 10 hrs. She said that I can return it before 9 AM next morning without any changes in my reservation but when I returned the vehicle I got charge for 2 days. It was my first time renting U-haul van and my experience was bad cause I got charged double the amount of original amount. I contacted the U haul customer support and she filed a dispute. She said someone will review my dispute and I will get refund in next 72 hours if I am eligible. I hope I will get my money back cause it was completely U haul staff fault that she told me I can return the van before 9 AM next morning.

I would suggest that when renting on-site, the agent should be able to service instead of being directed to the U-Haul app that was not working properly. This would improve and speed up the process.

I will never recommend this location because of their employees. Somebody was calling me for the whole day and asking to return the truck rudely and they charged me twice cause as they said they rent it by shift, not for 24h But UHaul policies says reverse. In general I am thinking about other rental company to avoid that kind of attitude and these kind of employees in the future who has a rude and ugly attitude to the customers keep saying them that they're working for uhaul for 20y and customers doesn't know anything. And they forget to put dolly as well but charged for it twice

Everyone from the front desk to the workers outside were unprofessional. After waiting in line for almost 40 minutes due the uhaul app not working, I was finally looked after. The lady handed me the keys and said the truck is right outside to your left. Of course I get outside and the truck is nowhere to be found. No workers were outside to assist me in locating the vehicle. I went back inside, went straight to the counter and before I could say 1 word, a different lady said " please use the app for returns and use the drop box. " I tried to say I was not returning any vehicle and I was in fact still trying to locate mine! Sadly...after 1 hour of waiting wondering around, my vehicle was finally brought around front. Just before I left, I asked the lady if they would add an hour to my reservation since I had already lost one hour waiting and she simple replied, " ill see what i can do " and quickly tended to the next customer....

I found the website not to be friendly to use. As I was paying for the rental and someone else driving it gave me a few headaches completing information. I feel they didn't explain all charges. Environmental fee? Mileage fee was said $1,19 km. Charged per Ml at $1,92 should advise that rate to customer. Asked for a small uhaul to move a single bedroom with some boxes/bags and told booked but when the driver got there it was a 10' uhaul van which we really didn't need. Price was same though. Window handle was broken. Floor had a hole which was filled with something. Looks like they went thru floor to work on transmission. Driver said it wasn't a smooth or even riding uhaul. Transmission wasn't great.

This is the second place they sent me to at 7 AM, the app was crashing every time I opened it. Finally found a phone number, he sent me here. The lady doing the check in kept telling be scan the QR code to check in, when I told her that it didn't work, she just moved on to the next person in line. It took for ever to get a truck!!!!!

Got my trailer an hour late, the employees who were handling the trailers didnt know what they are doing, an employee was standing between the trailer and the truck completely on the blind spot and chatting to another employee, horrible service no staff whatsoever to help with anything taillights on the trailer weren't working, thankfully was not pulled over. I dont know why i paid for a trailer when it could have costed me more in fines. Atleast have decent equipments.

The staff at the front were very helpful especially when helping signing out the truck online. However the outside employee, myself and three individuals waited for help and a black guy that was suppose to help told us to wait with a hand gesture then when myself the other guys went inside and back outside the employee just drove off to the back to continue his phone conversation. This is unacceptable and bad customer service, all I wanted to know is if the truck was safe to drive due to the tire sensor was displayed. I went back inside and ask for the vehicle history and was told there was a default problem. Again the employees inside were a major help and can see my frustration. My intentions is not get the guy in trouble but he needs to work on his customer service and if he's going to be on personal call be discreet about it.

Refusal to accept return on rental of dollies when hired contractor told me they had their own equipment. I had the rented equipment for just over an hour and was arguing with the contractor on my phone. Equipment was unused of course and the woman at the cash refused to reverse the charges. I was hoping for some grace as a senior but was charged the full amount of $70 with no compassion in this unfortunate situation. I understand policy but I think there should be some latitude in special circumstances. Perhaps there is an opportunity to avoid this with future customers. Merci pour votre temps. App gave me hard time to check in and pick up my truck and counter personnel didn't help and said it has to be done through app. At the time of return no was there to receive the truck and I had to sign myself off through app which take me a long time.

This was one of the worst u-haul's I have ever been to, I went in to rent a van the woman behind the counter Maliha (not sure if I spelled this correctly) helped me book a van and told me there was a block on my account and told me to call and talk to someone at the number she provided me. I called and cleared up the issue which I thought as a customer service rep she should have been the person to call and figure out what was wrong with my account but I called and verified the information they needed. When I got off the phone I said it's all cleared up can we continue with the booking, she said oh I am busy doing something else that is very important you can just can the QR code and book it yourself. I'm sorry I am standing in front of you you were helping me and now I have to do this myself because the phone call you got is now more important then me. She said yes this is very important you can just scan. The worst face to face customer service I have experienced to date I have never had someone tell me that someone else was more important then me standing there and I should just do it on my own. It was RUDE and terrible customer service.

I had pre-selected places to both pick up and drop off my vehicle and was unable to use either. It was extremely inconvenient and resulted in me needing to change my vehicle type just so i didn't have to drive 40mins out of my way... which was a charge to me even though it wasn't my fault that U-Haul didn't have trucks in any of the nearby lots in the size i had pre-ordered. If someone reserves a vehicle at a location, it should be based on available inventory at that location. There's literally no reason for it to change if you are keeping inventory up to date. Likewise, if you reserve a spot to drop off a vehicle, then there's no reason that the lot should get "full" - your spot should be reserved for you. There is very simple inventory-keeping technology that exists that would integrate easily with your booking software and eliminate the need for these changes at the last minute, but instead I had to have multiple phone calls with multiple people to get everything sorted. Additionally, the booking pages are unclear - when i booked the booking reservation said i had a booking from Friday through to Sunday (2 days), but then the staff i had to speak to were adamant i only had a 24hour booking (despite that i even had a reservation email clearly stating Friday - Sunday). I'm sure the first guy i spoke to that wanted to change my pick up location altered my reservation incorrectly and it became my problem. In addition, when we picked up the truck it was on EMPTY for gas - we were worried about making it in time to a gas station. You should run this like rental cars - the truck comes full, and you return it full of gas or get charged a penalty. That way the consumer isn't stuck paying for the next person's gas (which is exactly what happened in my case - i filled the truck and only used half a tank - so you got 1/2 a tank of expensive gas for free). Honestly just not a very good service. I think U-Haul considers that they have a corner on the market, and therefore you can mess around your customers and have sub-par service because you're top-of-mind in the market, but I will absolutely be using a different competitive service next time.

I've been renting from this place for many years. recently I noticed the service is getting much better. There was no big waiting , I was served very fast and when I returned the trailer people came right away and disconnected it for me. I was emailed the receipt right away. I was very happy.

UHaul representitive was not able to take down my telephone number properly to find me in the system . Although I rent from this location many times . Also I asked for the name she only give me " M " as her incompetency . Very disappointed I lost 45 minutes including the trailer plug was damaged and of course was replaced . Also she didn't take down my email properly and lost another half hour on the phone to receive the final receipt. One positive for U-Haul your rental prices are reasonable and your trailers are solid. Please make sure the people you hire have at least 4 th grade elementary school diploma. Merci

Just a slight inconvenience at one of the potential drop off locations (NOT the one ended up dropping it off at), where it seemed there was an impatient man who was truly difficult to understand, and seemingly not at all interested in assisting to solve a query about drop off locations. After pointless driving around the next town from where I understood I could drop the truck off, the person who finally received the truck (@ 900 Water Street) simply restored my faith in humanity, let alone Uhaul, by sending me on my way with a smile on my face, after a very heavy physical & emotional day for me personally.. I didn't get her name, but she certainly deserves a raise let alone a promotion. If she had a chance to read this, THANK YOU YET AGAIN! I think her middle name is Angel....._^

Firstly changed pickup location make more KM cost, when I pickup the app and website can't upload the photo, I worry about that the bumper has Damaged, I try to ask staff, she said if she can upload the photos what I can give her? She upload failed too, and walk away doesn't answer my other questions and concerns. I waste 45mins for check in the car even not finished the progress as the app not working. So disappointed.

No place to park if you go alone to get a truck-how does one person leave in 2 vehicles? This should be made obvious. Driver seat belt would not latch-not safe. Wait in line then use QR code to do it yourself-not efficient. Staff did their best to help but sign in/pick up procedure takes far too long.

Checking out and returning took a little longer than i had expected. This was because there was only a single person handling all of this. I used the app to check out and then returning, however, I felt better to speak with a person to be sure I had missed nothing.

There is zero customer service. One of the employees named Mohammed was yelling at me to move my vehicle out of his way. I moved it ahead and he continued to yell at me saying I wasn't far enough out of the way so I moved to the other side of the building and then he continued to yell at me saying what am I doing over here. I will never be back there again

The somali woman (I'm sorry for using this as a descriptor - I didn't catch her name) at the front desk was so rude to the customers basically. A guy was there trying to let her know that the app wasn't working for him and he had been waiting to do his return for over 45 minutes. She was so rude to him, basically said if the app wasn't working he'd have to wait and there was nothing he could do. The other guy working was nice and helpful. Pickup was saturday at 130pm. Your app was problematic for me for both pickup and dropoff. It crashed several times during pickup and said insufficient memory. Dropoff was difficult for the same reason and then the rental disappeared from the app altogether. I was contensting the amount because I replaced the fuel and it was charging me for the fuel, which is an overcharge of over $20. The return was tricky because other returns were backed up all the way to the entrance and I was driving a 26' truck. The truck itself was clean and well-maintained.

There was a leak in my unit and some boxes items were damaged. The door to my outdoor storage unit was also broken and it was difficult to open the locks on more than one occasion.

the booking system is misleading and causes alot of frustration. i booked on call with assosiate they took my card number to make a booking. i confirmed that i will just need to go and pick ip, yes? they confirm yes, that someone will call me to confirm the booking van and storage. So, when i reached the facility to pick up van, i was told theres not booking. then again when i reached for the storage, i storage i had been assigned was no longer available cause more frustration and delays.

terrible experience. the team on site, cannot follow-up with the online reservations made. the reservations made online seem to be useless since i made a reservation, put down my card. and yet the storage unit i booked was given away.

I have used this place at least twice with extra charges, this time the same, I only rented for a month but deducted me for two months. I went to the office four times a week to get my extra deductions back and each time I was told the manager was not in and that the manager would call me but I never got a feedback. Today is the fourth time and they told me I have to come back for a fifth time. I don't understand how difficult it is to get a refund on a tour and the manager is always out of office during working hours, please give me a reasonable explanation?

It was a great experience dealing while I was there for the past 4- 5 years. The staff were so friendly and helpful.i am so saddened to leave this facility but given i use the trailers and trucks quite often I will be seeing them all.

Staff was great, and customer service training is A1! The only issue is that customers don't have access to the inside unit 24 hours. That put me in a slight time restraint. Besides that I just reserved another truck! Good work all!!

There are more affordable, bigger units, and those with elevator access available at competitors. U-haul storage was not my first choice, but due to limited time to move-in and return the truck I opted for a more expensive, smaller unit, and without elevator access, instead of going to the competitor. If I had more time, I would have opted for another storage facility.

The fact that this facility did not have an elevator was a surprise. There were no ground level units left. There should have been some flag during the online booking process to let me know that the facility did not have any kind of elevator. It made the move-in process very tiring.

The gas consumption appears to be UNREASONABLE, probably due to rough recording or poor vehicle condition. In total, I drove 16 miles, and had to fill well over 2 gallon gas (8 liters).

I had several reservations cancelled due to the inability to book more than a week in advance. I had a difficult time with the app, having to change my password repeatedly . The storage information did not show up on the app with my truck and move company reservation. Most importantly I was told clearly the first month was free several times until I got to the facility. I drive a fair distance for that be wfit and could have paid to choose another facility much close to me.

I have nothing to complain about my almost 5 years at the Warden U-Haul storage location. My only suggestion, is they need to have more people working the counter stations. Especially at the end of the day near closing time. This is my only criticism. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with my experience with U-Haul storage. If they had a larger storage unit , I would have continued to be a customer.

Very kind and helpful staff. Only issues were that there was no elevator and that belongings within storage unit were covered in sawdust from ongoing roofing work. However, a staff member offered to clean out our unit at the end free of charge.

Very poor customer experience. Calling into the store is literally useless as you will sit on hold for the duration of your day. Sat on hold for 55 minutes, enough time for me to refill fuel and return the vehicle as opposed to trying to extend my rental.

the customer service was ex excellent, however when I went into storage unit I could see on the bottom of the unit mold spores I could smell it and as I was moving I noticed that the mold was on my couch my mattresses my dresser my deep freezer and as I unpacked some of my clothes and art work and picture frames with wood framing I am very dis pleased as I thought there was tempature control in each unit as well as I was paying insurance on the unit

I had reserved online a particular storage unit base on it's size. At the time of booking there was one unit left. I had the option of paying at the counter or completing the transaction on line. I choose at the counter. When I arrived I was told the locker wasn't available anymore. I assumed they meant because of me. The staff said no, someone else rented it. When I asked for an explanation they said is was on first come basis. I don't understand how you can book online and have the store override the transaction. As I already booked a truck I was forced to take a smaller unit.

1)Light was required in the storage since it was a 24 accessI selected...I was there until 9pm and I had to use my phone light. 2) When the rain fell water settled in front of my #700 storage and was a Hazzard for me.....with my in and out of the storage, the storage became dirty and I feared I may fall. Being on the second floor I found it very inconvenient to move things into and out of my unit. and it didn't effect me thankful, but I did have a huge I beam in the middle of my unit. But other then the price being a little expensive, I WOULD recommend people to your facility

Access to the outside unit is good. Unit very spacious. But outside area is not well lit at night. I had to keep my car headlights on to see what I was doing. Not clear on how security is maintained at night. No security gates. Also I would recommend dropping the $10 charge for 24 hour access since anyone can get into the area at any time of day or night so what are you paying for?

Had a problem with a default lock that was sold to. The keys would not open it and got stuck. They took a few days to resolve the issue and wanted to double charge me for a new one. The sales rep who said that she was acting manager wasn't very nice. Thank God I'm out of there. Wouldn't choose this location again

I opted to move my stuff to another non-Uhaul facility as this one I found to be not only overpriced but also not maintained well. My boxes were damp and right from my first day there I had a terrible time trying to close the locker door (I also had two friends attempt to close it and both struggled as well). Additionally, every time I opened the door or shut it a bunch of sawdust (our what I believe to be sawdust would fall on me). The containers were not in good condition and I was not willing to risk having my stuff in there during the Winter months.

No elevator's!! Had a heck of a time trying to carry stuff up then down those stairs. Dolly's where provided both at top and bottom of stairs but useless on stairs. Not informed of this when I accepted a 2nd floor unit. If I had known stairs were involved wouldn't have accepted a unit on the second floor.

STOP IT! management: wake up to the fact you don't understand what customer service means. Get retrained so that the staff don't get the full brunt of the criticism and harassment because of your blindspots. I would never buy a franchise for that reason. The company is losing millions and they don't know it and probably do care. So sad. Get the president to become ab undercover boss if he/she really care about the huge losses.

Little frustrating that you can't use your own lock especially when you are short on money and have none, yet need to store items so you can get the trailer back and get a refund. The drop off location is not at the storage unit and you are already very stressed with everything else going on that this just adds to it.

I was given an all-in price on the phone and I arrived with my own lock which was a high quality lock. When I came in to rent the van body, I was told I was required to purchase and use a Uhaul lock. That lock was junk and did not even secure through all three portions of the van body door fastener (but my own lock did). The staff were rude on several occasions. additionally, I was taken for the first time, on a golf cart, to see the unit, the driver smashed the roof of the cart on the opening garage door and debris flew at me. The 'gold' lock that goes on the left side of the unit is also a joke. One swing of a tack hammer would open it. Obviously this is just a means of pressuring people into paying more for 24 hour access in addition to forcing people to buy a crappy uhaul lock. The location is not secure and my unit leaked, damaging a $4000 mechanical massage chair. I have, over the years, rented many, many uhaul trucks, mostly for business purposes, but sometimes for personal use (as I did to fill up my vanbody storage rental). I did not rent from uhaul when I emptied it out. Because of your unfair, gauging policies, rude staff, inadequate facilities and the generally poor service (staff would not even provide me a paper receipt a email only) uhaul has lost my business permanently. Your service is terrible!

I used uhaul storage facility for consecutive 18 months. It really helped me a lot to manage my other things while uhaul taking care of my stuff. I really appreciate the staff at Warden Avenue.

Rent increased 3 TIMES in ONE year. We had the 24 hour access but a few times the alarm had gone off making it really inconvenient and loud to move things around! Expensive to rent. Staff were nice.
