Vreddhi B.Absolutely terrible experience with uhaul overall and this location. The self service 24/7 checkout was not available when I showed up to my initial location, called U-Haul and they transferred my request to Warden. This location said they never got anything and don't have a truck for me. Eventually they suddenly had a truck and gave me 0 of the equipment I booked, saying they didn't have it. So I left with a truck 1 hour later than I booked and with 0 equipment. Then upon return they charged me $160 extra for missing equipment ?????? I told them I never got anything and the manager said she will remove the charge but then I got the email receipt with the extra charges still there. Called back and was told to wait a few days and call back...??? And they added a "tire and oil" charge of $10 for no apparent reason, I was not told anything or examined anything. Incredible unprofessional and incompetent location and staff. Will never use Uhaul again and will warn friends and family to stay away.
Arman A.You guys are terrible. I booked a place a 5 minute walk from my house and it said it was available. Then you switched it to a 30 min drive away. I had to Uber both ways. It costed me an extra $100 in Uber and gas/mileage charges. Completely ridiculous and all the reps I spoke to were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Will NEVER use Uhaul ever again.

BOZHIDAR D.1- even though I was registered online and still took took me a half hour in a lineup before I got to see a representative about 45 minutes before I get out with the truck 2- when I got the truck the engine light was on plus later on the ABS light would come on so these things should have been taken care of before I actually got the truck; otherwise the staff were friendly and very good in general and knowledgeable. 3- the problem with waiting half an hour it was I had two people there that I was paying $25 an hour for them to stand around so it means it cost me about $30 to $40 to get my truck above and beyond U-Haul fees.

Moving is stressful, you claim to make it easier, but employees have attitudes and are not helpful. - hold your managers accountable. The gm at this location caused me a huge problem by telling her staff not to rent to me (without even being in the store) after I questioned why they rented me a defective unit with an electrical short that was repeatedly pointed out to uhaul staff. Then, promised to look into helping me and call back, that was a day ago. No follow up and no accountability. Very disappointing. - do an investigation when so many customers are complaining about the same manager at the same store. Do you ever look at reviews? So many one star reviews because of this one manager. It's ruining the uhaul name! - after all this disappointment, and REFUSAL of my reserved equipment, the store refused to return my deposit. Four desperate machines they tried but each one froze. That's highly suspicious, or the equipment is extremely outdated. - encourage your staff to clear the pos Ms Jones before the next customer. I don't want my name posted on a machine for the next customer. It happened numerous times. - - above all else, a general manager should manage a situation and resolve any issues so the customer can get the product they signed up for. The manager at this location behaves much as a high school student... when I called the next day to resolve the situation, she left me on hold for approximately one hour, 30 minutes because she knew I was the one calling. I am formally requesting all recorded communication with this store as I am considering options to resolve this disappointment caused by your uhaul manager. Truly a very sad way to end a 25 year relationship with your company, as now the manager that caused all this frustration is telling me I'm on a list of refused customers. Is that how uhaul handles problems, to ban the customer? Seems like a great news story.

john M.Ensuring that the appropriate equipment and trucks are actually available for the time they are rented. That would help. After driving 2 hours to pick up a truck (smaller than the trucj i rented and had confirmation for) i then had to WAIT OVER AN HOUR for them to find a truck. A $30 discount was offered which would not cover the time or expense of picking up a truck at that time (it was now rush hour in the city). I lost a days pay because of late notice and will now have to rent another truck to make up the lost day. After this experience i will not be renting from uhaul again.

Requested a Dolly Only to get an Appliance Dolly. Debit Machine stalled service for my refund. Gas was under Half not at Half. I returned it over Half and was marked at Half your welcome for the extra Gas. After today I will never use your service again.

Kai S.Trucks cannot be returned between midnight and 7 AM/opening time The Warden/401 location allows renters to leave their trucks piled up in front of the driveway. 5-6 trucks dropped off in that manner ruin it for everyone else, leaving no option but to return your truck the next day and accumulate extra charges! There is tons of room for trucks in the lot, but you can't get in past those trucks blocking the entrance!

My boxes were damp and right from my first day there I had a terrible time trying to close the locker door (I also had two friends attempt to close it and both struggled as well). Additionally, every time I opened the door or shut it a bunch of sawdust (our what I believe to be sawdust would fall on me). The containers were not in good condition and I was not willing to risk having my stuff in there during the Winter months.

Get retrained so that the staff don't get the full brunt of the criticism and harassment because of your blindspots. I would never buy a franchise for that reason. The company is losing millions and they don't know it and probably do care. So sad. Get the president to become ab undercover boss if he/she really care about the huge losses.

David-Alan L. | Expérience généraleI was given an all-in price on the phone and I arrived with my own lock which was a high quality lock. When I came in to rent the van body, I was told I was required to purchase and use a Uhaul lock. That lock was junk and did not even secure through all three portions of the van body door fastener (but my own lock did). The staff were rude on several occasions. additionally, I was taken for the first time, on a golf cart, to see the unit, the driver smashed the roof of the cart on the opening garage door and debris flew at me. The 'gold' lock that goes on the left side of the unit is also a joke. One swing of a tack hammer would open it. Obviously this is just a means of pressuring people into paying more for 24 hour access in addition to forcing people to buy a crappy uhaul lock. The location is not secure and my unit leaked, damaging a $4000 mechanical massage chair. I have, over the years, rented many, many uhaul trucks, mostly for business purposes, but sometimes for personal use (as I did to fill up my vanbody storage rental). I did not rent from uhaul when I emptied it out. Because of your unfair, gauging policies, rude staff, inadequate facilities and the generally poor service (staff would not even provide me a paper receipt a email only) uhaul has lost my business permanently. Your service is terrible!
