Have the equipment on hand that I reserved two or three months ago. You have been getting a lot of flack lately for your reservation system, which is anything but, and I have been pretty relaxed with driving an hour or so out of my way to get equipment previously, on very late notice. They changed my order out of Hamilton because they didn't have a truck . I should have got 50$ for that nope . The then pick up the truck park it for the next day to use and find out there's no dolly inn it , the gas in the truck was almost empty so had to pay 35$ once I got it and 35$ when I took it back so it cost me over 170$ just to use the truck 3 hours . I live on the Hamilton Mountain and went out of my way to go to this location on Plains Road. Amazing customer service very professional, no waiting in line, everyone had a smile and the manager did not tell me to leave like the experience I had a few weeks ago at the upper Wellington location. We got the truck and loaded it up and then when it was full, the truck wouldn't start. We had to have the truck towed to the storage unit so we could unload it and then towed to wherever they took it to be fixed. It was extremely inconvenient as we had a whole bunch of people to help us at the time. However because we wasted over an hour waiting for the tow truck, my husband and I had to do it all by ourselves. The unloading was extremely stressful and we were not happy with the service. We did not even get a discount on the price of the truck even though it broke down on us. I was extremely disappointed in the service this time.LAURAN R.

Absolutely the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. The appointment to install my hitch was delayed 2 times this summer because the staff ordered the wrong parts, and then when it was finally booked to install, the service person left the under-vehicle covering/all-weather fabric torn and ripped around the hitch, and then not re-attached to the bottom of the bumper. When questioned about the workmanship, the attendant said it could be un-installed if I didn't like the job, but not fixed. I asked to speak with the manager on the phone, who audibly yelled at the attendant and said she would not speak to me, but I could wait there (3 hrs) for her to return. I had already been waiting 2,5hrs for the install and wasn't about to make it a half-day to haggle about the price/quality of their work. I simply went to my dealer and paid another $75 for them to fix the job. I will never go to that burlington Uhaul again. I had heard terrible reviews, but needed the hitch and couldn't find another shop to do it... but should have stayed away.peter S.

Electrical installation was messy, very messy. cables everywhere, going at every direction. next day my left tail lights and signal stopped working; ya connector not properly insert. then i noticed cables cut on multiple places , connect together with butt connectors. 2 connections in 2 inches without any reason. very amateur job. i had to got home and use electric tape to organize them to make them somehow ok. very poor job.Ronald B.

Uhaul needs to change their website pricing on the 9ft van. You state that the mileage charge is 0,59cents per km but we were charged 0,69cents per km. on Oct. 1/22William B.

The drop-off was also easy. Ramanpreet Kauer, the agent came out to help with the drop-off service soon after we arrived at the location. She did inspect the truck and gave us the all clear and informed us that a receipt would be sent later. She however did not tell us that there was extra charge for mileage and found that out later when we got the electronic receipt. I am not sure if the extra-mileage was due to U-Haul changing the drop-off location at the last minute. It would have been nice to have been informed of the extra charge ahead of time. There is zero chance I come back to this location ever again. The customer representatives do not care about what is going on. My invoice is incorrect due to their laziness and unwillingness to help customers. So far all the extra equipment I've tried to rent isn't available when I come to pick up the equipment and you do not receive notice of lack of availability. My truck was disgustingly dirty... It has layers of dust in it and hasn't been clean I'm what looked like months. The engine light was on, the tire light was on and the charge engine oil light was on..... All things that can make someone feel pretty uncomfortable driving your trucks. I spoke to an employee when I returned it and he said I would get a discount and the assistant manager would call and give me my goal after it..... Needles to say, I never got a call nor the discount that I was offered. Horrible customer service and communication.Erin M.
My truck was not ready at 7:30AM as booked and I had to wait until 9AM for the location to open. When I phoned customer service at 7:45AM to find out why I wasn't set-up properly for 24/7 access they could not answer but did start my complaint claim. The call-in representative was excellent. The same cannot be said for the face to face service. When I could get my vehicle at 9AM and asked the assistant why my truck was not set-up properly she blamed me for not pre-registering but then acknowledged that I was 24/7 so maybe something happened. She did not care that I was inconvenienced and offered no apology. I won't use the Aldershot location again and would not recommend it to anyone else. MattMatthew O.

My experience was great until I emptied my unit I called to get information and was told that I did not wait till the end of my pay period and my account would be adjusted and pro rated for the time I used. Staff tried to lie and say or storage booking didn't exist and that all the storage units were occupied. After minutes of explaining we indeed did book, randomly there was a unit available for us... I have been repeatedly overcharged for my storage unit from the beginning of my account use until after I moved out. The first month promotion from Uhaul was never honoured. I have made numerous attempts to contact the Aldershot location, by phone and email and my calls were never returned over the whole 5 month period. I even waited on hold for an hour to contact Uhaul central Customer Service, they tried to get in touch with the Aldershot location, and couldn't get a reply by phone, then they sent an email to the location, and still the Aldershot location didn't reply to the message from Head Office Customer Service. The Aldershot location continues to charge me even after I moved out, despite my numerous emails advising them that I'd be moving out, and to stop charging me. They placed a lock on my unit, and never removed it even after I paid excessive extra charges. The lock remained in my unit long after my account was fully paid, which prevented me from moving out earlier resulting in several additional months of unnecessary storage costs. When I had paid for and arranged a moving service to move out of my storage unit, I couldn't access my storage unit for the moving company because the Aldershot still had a lock on my storage unit. This is the worst predatory business practices I have ever seen, especially during the pandemic, and with such a large International Company like Uhaul, this is completely unacceptable. Customers of Uhaul at the Aldershot location have been leaving very Negative Reviews of the terrible customer service and overcharges at Uhaul at Aldershot. I would like Uhaul Head Office to assist me with providing a refund for all of the amounts that have been Overcharged on my account by Uhaul Aldershot. Please have Uhaul Head Office contact me to resolve the unethical business practices of the Uhaul Aldershot location and their numerous overcharges on my account.
