We checked in online before arriving. It made absolutely no difference to the time to get the equipment. It took 30 minutes to actually get served and fully check out with the equipment. Checking in beforehand took a lot of time in advance and made no difference in the end. Not sure I would take the time to do the online checkin in advance next time.Lynne K.

I tried to rent a u haul and was called at 5pm the night before I was supposed to move and told there would be no truck for me. I will never rent from u haul again and will continue to warn anyone who needs to rent a vehicle to never rent from u haul.Kimberley P.
Location didn't have my truck, sent to location 15 min away which also didn't have my truck. Sent back to original location for a 10' truck instead of the 26' truck I had ordered, move took several hours longer due to multiple trips with smaller truck, cost me more to pay movers due to taking longer, lost an hour of my morning with the run around of not having the truck I ordered. I booked the truck near 20 days sooner and scheduled my movements and managing many things based on, but the picking up location changed suddenly which shocked me. The truck was clean but its engine was not strong as I expected. Thank you.Mohsen F.
Around the truck and the parking lot were full of snow, with no attempt made to remove the snow from the area. It was difficult to back out the truck in the snow and I would not be surprised if some type of "fender bender" happened in the lot because of the mess. Just irresponsible on the team in the store for not addressing this so that customers would have a potential mishap with their own vehicle or the UHaul vehicle.Bradley D.

Two issues caused me to rate this location low: 1) I had ordered two furniture dollies, and my order had been confirmed. However when I arrived, I was told they only had one dolly and that if I needed two, I'd need to buy the second one. I declined. Instead of a second furniture dolly, they gave me an appliance dolly, which wasn't relevant. 2) When I started the cargo van, the dashboard indicated a problem with one of the tires. When I got out to check, one of the staff said that the indicator light was faulty and the tires were ok. In my view, the indicator light should have been fixed before the van was rented.George M.
I started the day with 7/8 of a tank of gas and anticipated approximately 70 kilometers usage. I returned the vehicle with a FULL tank of gas and did go over the kilometers slightly. Did I get charged for being over, YES. Did I get reimbursed for returning with too much gas, NO! Will not be using U-Haul again.Martin S.
Trying to talk to an actual person at this location was difficult. I ended up talking to the person who works at the waterdown location who helped me out. I was told I'd have an 8:30 pick up and your location changed it to 9 without calling me or contacting me at all. I waited for a half hour. Then when the young man arrived for work and saw I was waiting he didn't acknowledge me until 9:01 when he unlocked the doors. I explained my frustration and he had no customer service skills. If he didn't have to talk to me then he wouldn't have probably. Very much unsatisfied with the service overall.Maria C.
