Long line to rent truck- when I finally got my truck the tire pressure light was on so I had to wait again for this issue to be resolved. Truck was banged up and the back was not clean. Staff were direct but not very friendly.

I was also accused of stealing the uhaul because the staff at the drop off location had failed to check in the truck. After informing uhaul the truck had been returned I was billed over $300. I am very unhappy with the service.

I was a bit disappointed that my box was a day late and then it was delivered later than the window I was promised. I appreciate the $50 credit for the late arrival, but the later delivery time was frustrating since I had people waiting to help me.

This was my worst experience with U-Haul ever, and I've made several moves using U-Haul in the past. The employees were incredibly unprofessional. I checked in online the day before to speed up the process, but I still spent close to an hour and a half to pick up my truck. What should have been a quick in & out pickup was a painful, slow, frustrating process. I would absolutely NOT recommend this location to anyone.

Originally I was supposed to pick up my U-Haul at the Claremont location. When I got there the air-conditioning did not work and they tried to get me to take a 15 foot truck when I absolutely refused they been called and found this location for me and this location was great. The only problem I had after I rented the truck was I drove the truck to my house loaded it and straight to where it was going and straight to return it and I was 5 miles over what they gave me in mileage. I think they need to give you enough miles to get the job done if you don’t take any sod adventures or anything. It wasn’t much money but it was the point.

As for the location, it was ok. The process of renting takes way too long, especially if you have online pre-ordered. The idea that you can pre-reserve and then get a last minute text moving your pick up location 30-40 minutes away. In the future, I will do everything I can to not use U-Haul in any capacity. The business model is terrible. It is not for customer convenience/it is for U-Haul convenience. As for equipment, the "check tire monitor service" light came on within 15 minutes of pick up. But, other than that the vehicle was clean and ran well.

I rent from Uhaul several days a week. I had never been to the memorial drive Decatur location. I sent my guys to rent the Uhaul and when I saw that I was charged too many days, I called to inquire and the lady told me in a rude manner than the days will come off when the truck is returned and hung up on me. I was not able to ask any additional questions as she hung up on me. I understand that they may have been busy but that does not mean it’s ok to hsve poor customer service. Poor customer service.

This was the best location of any U-Haul I have dealt with, but still subject to some of the same issues associated with any U-Haul encounter. I hope U-Haul starts paying/treating/training staff members better, because it is clear that they dislike their jobs. We had a lot of trouble with a U-Box reservation, as front desk staff did not know anything about U-Box processes, and the U-Box representative was only there for a few hours during the day.

The online pick-up process took longer than expected, I would recommend letting customers know that even with online check-in picking up will still take about 30 mins, and you still have to go to the counter to get the keys. When i finally went and spoke to the staff they were extremely helpful and efficient. I wish i would have just done the pick up in store option, the staff on site were great and I feel like they would have been able to help me faster than the online option.

disappointed in the accuracy of your online service. I requested a 17'' truck from your peter st atl ga location. I picked the truck and your page gave me the stores to choose from. Great this is right around the corner. So not even an hour later I show up at peters st and they don;t have my resv and its actually in Decatur GA. I've ubered to Peters st. and now to Decatur in rush hour traffic. My mileage goes up as well as fuel used on this trio. Terrible move. Thanks uhaul for the pain in my ass. Moving is hard enough as it is. Can you possible have a clue whats going on at your locations so we can make reservations we actually want?

The service could have been a lot better. I waited in line for over 20 mins . When I finally reached the counter the representative didn’t even apologize to me for my wait or explain why I had to wait so long. In between helping me him and his co worker begin to have a personal conversation which I felt was not a good idea to do while a customer who has been waiting a long time is still standing right in front of you. After finishing my contract he sent me outside to wait on him to get my truck however I discovered he had actually begun helping another customer while I was outside waiting. Overall bad experience would not recommend this location to anyone

This place is horrible. They gave the truck to us with what they called a 1/4 tank of gas but was more like 1/8. We returned it with gas and they charged us for an empty tank plus and extra mile that we didn't drive. They basically charged us double what we should have paid and have not corrected it a month later after several emails requesting an update. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!

My review is not so much for the location as it is for the offer of 24/7 pickup that fell through. I hired movers to meet me at my house at 08:00 AM on Sunday, 7/16/19. I scheduled a 24/7 pickup for 07:30 that day, and received a call confirmation of my 24/7 pickup on Saturday 7/15/19. When I arrived to the lot, the mobile "pickup" link informed me that my pickup time had been changed to 06:30 and that I was an hour late and couldn't pick up the truck. I called customer service and somebody changed the pickup time for me. However, the second time I attempted to use the "pickup" link, the website informed me that I needed to wait until the store opened at 9:00. I called customer service again, and received a message that there were no 20" trucks available at this location for 24/7 pickup, so the final resolution was that I needed to wait until the store opened. This whole back-and-forth cost me approximately 90 minutes of my own time and my movers' time. As a result of my experience, I will not recommend this service to a friend. I will not be using U-Haul in the future. The staff at the location were friendly and professional so this rating should not apply to them. The logistics of the 24/7 mobile pickup were awful.

I was called and accused of not returning the truck that I had already returned the night before it was due. I was told that I would owe $19000 because they couldn't find it. I was told they would have to research further when they should have researched before calling me. No follow up call was made to tell me otherwise. I received a confirmation email of the truck return three days after it was returned and charged additional fees. I would think with this negligence the additional fees and rental would be refunded and fees waived. Thank you very much U-Haul.

Treat customers better than you would treat yourself. Go the extra mile. Making excuses and justification of shortcomings from upper management on behalf of your team is tactless, unbecoming, and lazy. Doing so present it to the customer as if it's out problem that you are not equipped to provide services needed when instead of providing a solution that his reasonable versus inconvenient to a customer. It is called customer service. If you not willing to serve or have the attitude of service then you and your team are in the wrong business and just collecting a paycheck.

I had difficulty unlocking the reserved truck through the mobile app, the office was just closing and staff said they could not help me because they were about to close. I had called this staff earlier in the week when they confirmed the reservation, it was very hot and somewhat unsafe in the parking lot. I had to call corporate Uhaul to help me, overall would not do this again! Staff need to help customers even when it's closing time.

Location was really busy. I reserved a 17 foot and ended up with a 15 ft due to availability at this location. Representative put another customer on speaker phone so everyone could hear and the customer was upset about something, so it wasnt appropiate to have her on speaker phone while other customers were at this location. The manager of this location was really rude when I had to speak with him on the phone. The best part was Felix - but he was also smoking a cigar while checking the UHaul when it was returned.

Be honest, have some integrity, I talk to Uhaul representatives twice before my pickup and they assured me they would have 26’ foot available. They didn’t not, the associate up front didn’t even try to accommodate us first by finding a smaller truck, she immediately wanted to refund us our money and try to send us to another. I WANT TO MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR I REQUESTED NOT PICKUP AT THIS UHAUL BECAUSE I KNEW THERE REPUTATION WAS HORRIBLE, BUT THEY STILL FORCE ME TO PICKUP FROM THIS LOCATION. BACK TO PENSKE I WILL GO. There was no creative attempt to solve a problem or provide customer service beyond what she could see on the computer.. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I called 3 times to change my ship to address and each time someone would ask me if the old address was the drop destination. The initial pick-up of the truck was smooth. But when I can to get my cash deposit back they act like the system was down and told me I had to come back the next day in which I did but this time the excuse was they had no cash! I came back a third time (because I work everyday and I couldn't wait for them to figure it out!) and i had to wait over an hour for my deposit! Customer service was Fair on Monday, April 15, 2019. During the year that I used the UHAUL service, customer service have been HORRIBLE. No one never answer the phone. Phone agent can never answer questions, constantly put on hold without question being answer. Agent at location did not or could not take over the phone payments. Manager Simone never called back. Terrible.. Day of ending contract, no one was available to let us, I was never provided with a key code, no one at the location answer the phone or buzzer. Was left in storage area for about 10 min at location with no way out. But TREY provided great customer service was very kind and humble.

The most frustrating part of the experience was trying to use the UHaul app for pick-up and drop-off. In both cases, I went through ALL of the steps only for it to tell me at the very end that there was some kind of error and I had to go in the office. The, I had to repeat all of the steps in-person, so the app didn't save any of my info. For pick-up, my truck was not ready when I arrived so I had to wait about 30 min. We wanted to upgrade to a bigger size, which was not available even though the parking lot was filled with at least 10 trucks of the size that we wanted. Maybe they were all not working? The manager on duty was delightful and extremely helpful. My only complaint is that when I confirmed my reservation over the phone, it was for a pickup truck, but after I finished signing all the paperwork and paying, I was told I had a caravan waiting for me instead. They said they were all out of pickups, but there was one in the lot when I arrived and 8 hours later when I dropped off the caravan.
