I haul was good but when I said they could close my unit before it got to costly I had everything I need but I lost the key to my lock and they said they could not help me but other than that they was very good

Terrible experience. Lines were horrible. Only manager new anything and he was running none stop. Because he was so swamped he couldn't help me get a wire/light harness installed (not scheduled but thought we had one and didn't so were in a big jam) so your dispatch/central phone number in Indiana sent me to a nearby facility on Candler Rd. They set up an appointment saying they had the part, they didn't. I drove an hour to another facility that had the part, then was promised 15 minutes, 3 hours later we left finally. Then we got back to our original facility with the trailer and the lights didn't work. Back to Candler Rd, and after an hour had it done right this time. Just horrible experience!!

When I checked out of the facility they never took me out of the system they kept sending me late memos so I’m hoping and praying that U-Haul is not running my credit.

I had a horrible experience with uhaul. My box arrived 3 days late, making me have to push back my work start date by 3 days, missing out on 3 days of pay. The wrong credit card was charged out of nowhere, over $1500 charged to a card that was not authorized to be used (after using the correct card multiple times). My pod arrived but was not picked up when it was supposed to be, and it was left in an alley by my buildings freight elevator all week. My building is a high rise in downtown Los Angeles and my security officer told me that transients we're going in and out of the box. I assume the box is a disgusting mess now, but like I said I had told the company to pick it up the next day because the box really was not supposed to be there for more than 4 hours (per building rules). Overall a horrible experience. I would never recommend uhaul.

My pods where late getting dropped off, they were late getting picked up. The original guarunteed date was 6 /22 but I wasn't able to get my things until 6/26. I will never recommend uhaul to anyone. The whole process was stressful and not even the GM, Jason Petty could help me. I emailed him. He never responded. When he talk to me on the phone he was very rude and talking over me. Spend the extra money and go else where.

Had a broken mirror, delayed me a day and forced me to make trips I did not have to make, then only refunded half of my amount after a difficult customer service experience. Told me I was given 24 extra hours due to the inconvenience, then tried to charge me for that too. Will be hiring movers from now on

I had a reservation for over a month at a different location, and then my reservation was changed to this location the day before which was 10 miles away to ensure my rental (truck and car trailer) were available, and when I got there, one was not available. The staff were nice and helped me out and I was able to get it from another location, but all in all I had to go to 3 locations. No concerns with the staff at this location, mainly just the reservation process.

Employees are poorly trained and Manager offer me a Non-existent discount. Even the trailer they assigned to me was missing an electrical connection to hook the trailer into my car. Solution: The loading guy stole one from another trailer. Poor management and minimally trained employees mean the next rental will be at another U-Haul rental. My rating for this location;

Back of the van had old clothes and a salad in it. It smelled like an old musty house. It would be helpful if there were USB ports in the vans seeing as how this is 2022. Also the website was clunky on password reset pages and it also was down / not working when I tried to return the van. You should also put the “how many gallons of gas do you need” on a sticker on the gas cap door and not buried in an online user agreement.

My pick up location was great.. Have someone in customer service tell you the correct drop off, know your locations. Gas is to expensive to waste. Nice person at drop off very helpful.

I turned in the Vehicle within the amount of time need. Received a phone call from customer service asking me to extend the amount of time needed or turn in the vehicle. Tried to call store to speak with manger. No answer. Went back to the location to found out that the Manager did put the vehicle back into inventory the day before. My two hour project turned into me speaking customer service and driving back to the store the next day. This Unacceptable. My next time need to rent I will be using Competitors service. “ GAS TO HIGH TO MAKE MULIT TRIPS” for something so simple.

They defrauded me out of $450, refused to check in a delivered trailer for over two weeks and charged me late fees despite it being on their lot the entire time. The management will not return my calls or answer the phone at any point. I am extremely disgusted with this business practice and will be disputing these charges. I have photographic evidence of it being returned on the correct day, and if you record the call logs like you claim you do, you will hear me calling multiple times and being told that I wouldn't be charged any other fees

I felt I was given the oldest truck .. the alignment was off and the engine was very loud. Steering wheel was deterring will not use that location again did not feel safe driving that truck

Van we rented had a low tire pressure warning light on when we picked it up. Technician filled all tires with air but later in day the warning light returned. I have rented from this location twice before and think the folks there do a good job. However, this is second rental episode with a tire pressure warning light. Taking the time to have the technician, who was very helpful, on two occasions is a little frustrating. This time the van also had a broken rear taillight cover and the rubber gasket for the rear cargo door kept falling off the door frame during use. Also, the windshield had a significant crack across approximately one-third of the full screen.

I reserved a two-wheel dolly. When I arrived I was told they didn't have any. What's the point of reserving anything if you don't actually reserve it for me? As a result, I was forced to lift furniture up a flight of stairs on my own.

I walked into this store after having my reservation canceled the day of my move. I provided my credit card & DL and advised I would return at 6:30 to get the 26ft truck. When I returned the truck had been given to another customer. No one could tell me why. I was given a 20ft truck therefore I put double the miles on the truck because it was smaller. Customer service was rude every time I called. This was the WORST experience ever. I'm using Penske from now on.

With self check in I was told I would receive a credit of $70 once I arrived to the location I was only given $26. After waiting 30 minutes. The manager was very rude and inconsiderate of my time. As I'm recovering from an ankle surgery, he left me standing at the counter several times as he walked around laughing and holding unnecessary conversations outside. I was extremely disappointed and will not return to this location. Next time I move I'd rather use a moving company than uhual.

Name: Ahren Vernon Contract#: 10397510 Phone: (678) 915-9649 Email: Ahrenvernon@yahoo.com I recently rented equipment: DC 4385T Rented it. Refueled it. Cleaned it. Returned it. No problem. Upon returning the equipment, uhaul.com/share would not send me the mobile verification code. I requested it at least 5x. I continued to drop the keys in the drop box and called an uber. I called uhaul on Sunday just to make sure my equipment was received, and they said "Yes". I wake up this morning to a $300 receipt stating that I put 173 miles on this rental! I went 10 miles, and back! This is the 2nd time in a row where there's been a problem renting equipment from this location. I spend $400 a month with this company, please look into this.

Customer service needs MUCH improvement. My time was NOT taken seriously. I made reservations online. I also set up my payment so I wouldn't have a long wait when I arrive to the Uhaul store front. My reservation was at 12n…. I arrived on time, yet I didn't have a flatbed for me. I physically walked out to the parking lot to see their inventory. I pointed out 3 flatbeds to the guy who was checking inventory in. A pickup truck, and flatbed was reserved and requested online. After waiting over a hour I got a box truck, and flatbed, NOT WHAT I WANTED! It took them over a hour to get a flatbed that lights work! The lady who helped me showed absolutely NO regards. Never saw a manager! Terrible experience, and I WILL NOT recommend ANYONE to come this location! #EVER

The worst customer service. I made the reservation for my son using a live agent because he, not I would be picking the truck up and used my American Express Card to secure it. When he arrived, they insisted on my drivers' license. When it wouldn't upload I asked why they needed it when he was driving. Finally they took his. I used my AmEX card to secure the truck on the phone and they insisted that the physical card be there which was impossible. I specifically booked the truck using a live agent because I am in another city and wanted the card used to secure the truck. He ended up paying for the truck in cash ($232). Had we not been able to pay cash he would not have gotten the truck. He was to meet me in Columbus which is 100 miles away by a certain time and it took an hour to sort out something that should have been done in a few minutes and made him an hour late. If I could give a minus star I would.

They changed my reservation the day before and I was not made aware. Went to the wrong location for pickup and they literally did nothing to help with this inconvenience. They claimed a call was made and voicemail was left but in this day and age, you really are going to go with that cop out? Noted going forward that they can change your pick up location the day before so I guess check before you go get your truck.

The truck had a check engine light on and had less gas than indicated in my contract. My contract was amended and I filled up the tank to the appropriate level, but Uhaul charged me a total of $80 to fill it back up due to improperly updated documentation. Please refund that portion of my payment.

The gate into the area where the outside units were was never shut so my outside was not secure. There were always so many cubes parked in the back area that it was hard to get to my unit. Checking out was very easy.

First and foremost it took 45min with the clerk just to get my storage unit. That's not waiting in line to get to the counter that's at the counter. The people who work here are ghetto and have no since of professionalism about them selves. The Whole process with the storage is and was completely terrible. But they got they money upfront for crappy services.

I wasn't able to move in after-hours as intended due to the access code not working. The customer service rep was able to extend the time I had to use the UHAUL truck rental, but that doesn't take away the extra mileage (& COST!) I had to drive. Terrible experience.

I USED THIS U-HAUL FACILITY FOR 4+ YEARS AND HAVING TO DEAL WITH THAT ANNOYING ALARM EVERY TIME I OPEN MY UNITS WAS BEYOND RIDICULOUS! I made SEVERAL complaints and I was told the SAME ole excuse that U-Haul/the system mixed up my account with another renter and the engineers were working to fix it...FOR FOUR YEARS! C'mon!

The manager was unprofessional he gave my paperwork my key and everything else to someone that accompanied me not one time did he even speak to me and the storage manager is obviously a drug attic thief that kept putting a lock on my unit even though my storage was paid and the day I came to move out neither manager was there and we had to pay $150 for a locksmith to cut the lock off my unit because they never gave me a key very unprofessional A lot of my things were missing and it cost me money just to get my items stolen from me sentimental items that can never be replaced are gone my washer was stolen and a bunch of my daughters clothing and shoes I would never use this facility again probably not U-Haul. Because I tried to complain and no one did anything!

Aretha in custodial services provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Very friendly and responsive. Extremely rare to find a person in the industry with such positive attitude. Manager stated that access hours were cut due to crime in the storage unit after dark. Not Good!

I did have a problem where i hade a reservation for a hand dolley but when i got there i was told they did not have one. that set me back 45 mins on my move. i had to wake up a relative to use his. other than that, everything else was good.

I would not recommend this facility to anybody. Because there Computer System is not working right and keeps overcharging me. As also keeps charging me for a lock, which I had not purchased from them....and nobody could get the mix up straight. So they still own me money....and when I moved out of there because of the unprofessional situation I still had to pay for that full month !!! I'm very frustrated with the way that happened and I still want my money back....I have been coming to that facility for 2 weeks now just about every day trying to find a solution to get my money back. So I was hoping to solve the dispute.....but no luck !

Well, I rented my unit a week early and it was the last unit at the time. When I moved and got to what was supposed to be my unit, it was a lock on it that I didn't put there. The staff thought maybe they were the ones who put it on to preserve the integrity of my purchase, but come to find out they actually rented my unit to someone else. Imagine how unnerving that was with almost everything you own in the back of U-Haul that time was winding down on. Luckily there was a unit that had just been vacated and I was able to get it, but what if it wasn't one available? I'm supposed to talk to management about compensation and resolution... I'll let you know how it goes.

I had a very bad experience in Ohio picking up my truck and the ride down to GA was very difficult and tiring. Moving my things into this storage facility made everything all better. I really appreciated the site Manager and she really helped me get settled with no problems whatsoever. Even the gentleman who checked in my truck was friendly and very helpful.

Your office manager is rude and it just takes away from the performance Excellence of U-Haul in general I am in my forties I have used U-Haul off and on over the years and I've never experienced such an immature office manager she's rude and sounds like she doesn't even have a formal education please investigate thank you

The staff at this location were super helpful. I had a very bad experience at another U-Haul location last year and was skeptical about trying the service again. The ladies here helped me tremendously and changed my perception of the company.

Everyone was always helpful and kind. The parking lot is nasty but inside the facility was spotless-even the bathroom!! This was an easy place to store my stuff for over 1,5yrs. thank you

I have a drive up unit. The access to the unit is blocked by cubes parked in the very narrow area leading to my unit making it difficult to drive up to the unit by car let alone a truck. The unit was not clean.

Neesha has poor attitude and is condescending and makes customers want to respond negatively. Reba Caldwell lacks customer service skills nessassary in the field she is currently working in. Both these employees do not have the skills set to work in customer service. They show how ghetto the area this facility is located in is. Reba portrayed in every interaction I've had with her lack of professionalism. IF Jerell and max (I think that's their names) we're not working there I am for sure it would've gotten shot up or something because of how crazy Reba speaks to people. I will never again use this uhaul storage location nor their box truck simply because of Neesha and Reba. And poor Justin the manager tries but it seems like he's scared of the potential retaliation (attitude) of those two to speak to them. Reba ALSO closed out my storage unit WITHOUT my consent which is crazy considering I had 3 weeks left to use the unit.

The staff at this location is very poorly trained in customer service. They never return phone call , never ask you if it's ok to be placed on hold. They don't call about late payment but will lock your unit right away. I wish I would have never leased here!!!!!

I was not initially aware of policy of no move in after hours so I had to extend my uhual reservations (with associated costs) to reschedule my move in of things into the storage unit. Prior to arriving that evening I tried to call the office to make sure I would be able to move in at that time but there was no answer on the phone after multiple attempts. This cost me $60 in additional fees from having to extend my uhual truck rental.

Never received the truck y'all were overbooked very unprofessional just sitting talking not letting anyone know what's going on until I actually spoke up asking what the problem was because my pick up is 2 and I have to be at work at 4 asked if there was a sister company that had any and the sons was I don't think so probably not they were waiting on people to bring back trucks that were late I asked if I was getting a refund and the response was 50 % I said no 100 % because it's not my fault there's no trucks in the time I paid for. Very dissatisfied will not use again.

Everything was great just needed a larger unit and a cheaper price for the units. With so many people needing storage space today all units can sell faster at a cheaper rate.

Reason for low grade is everytime I called I would immediately be put on hold and no one would come back and answer. Samething happened 3 times in a row. I believe the problem is not having anyone to answer calls. Calls are being answered by front desk while they are also trying to take care of walk in customers. Should hire people separate to answer phones.
