I was greeted at the door, she took my keys and said that's it. Only to find out I was charged an extra day because i was a few minutes late when I had spoken to that person on the phone and she said no problem and did not mention the extra charge.

The customer representatives made me remove my car from the lot before processing my reservation. The lot had a lot of empty space. I will never go back there. I only rented a vehicle for a few hours. I have always used u haul at this location over the years, never had a problem before. I had to find a parking in a side street that o was not familiar with. It was dark when I returned the vehicle and feared for my safety while walking in an unknown neighborhood. Not happy at all.

The 17ft truck we were given had not been cleaned and was in a disgusting state. The seats were covered in dirt, the cup holders were repulsive (a literal health hazard), and the seat belts and steering wheel were dirty and badly worn. The whole cabin needed fumigating. The inside of the truck was also dirty and had clearly not been cleaned properly. Even the dolly (which we paid for) was caked with dirty and had to be replaced. The truck should never have been given to us in that state. Also, the truck itself had been badly bumped and dented and was definitely not mechanically sound. The engine made an awful noise and the gears were clearly worn. This truck should be taken off the road and either scrapped or given a complete overhaul and refurbish. We (the clients) should not have to pay for this type of junk. It was an uncomfortable ride and the cabin (although eventually given a decent cleaning before we drove it away), was still unpleasant to sit in. The seat belts were also worn, grimy and disgusting. The seat belt for the middle seat was caked in dirt to the point that we didn't even want to touch it. As already mentioned, the cabin was eventually given a cleaning, and the floor of the inside of the truck was also washed down, but all of this should have been done before we arrived for pick-up. Also, the external damage to the truck was so profuse that it was impossible to list all minor and major damage. The employee who handled the cleaning and the return was very polite, but it was all too little too late. We should be reimbursed for this unpleasant experience. Sadly, we cannot, in all honesty, recommend this location. I would be happy to speak to a Customer Relations representative.

Strap to secure appliance on appliance dolly was missing. Made employee aware of it. Employee supplied non-standard strap to secure appliance. I find it absolutely ridiculous that you ask for 3 phone numbers and 2 additional contacts to rent a $10 item. I hope I don't have to deal with UHaul in the future.

15 foot truck did job. But on way back to bring back truck broke. Loud noise and barely moved. We though were going to get stuck in rain far from home. Very nervous. Exhaust fumes were coming in vehcle. We had to drive with windows open in rain. Bad experience.

Made a reservation over a week before the day needed. One hour prior to pick I was sent an e-mail that I had to drive to another location bc my reservation could not be honored at Bellerose .. completely unacceptable.

You should try leaving the key in the lockbox when you have a 24/7 truck share reservation. You wasted three hours of my night, started my reservation at 12:30am and never got a key until 7am. No compensation, no sorry, nothing. Terrible experience. Never again.

This is not my first experience at this location. I could not miss this opportunity to acknowledge their service and I am sorry I did not get the chance to complete this before. The Manager Everett is exceptional as evidenced by the customer service levels of his store. I have been in management for approximately 35yrs and therefore am capable of recognizing talent. The key points cleanliness, overall appearance, warm and friendly staff... Great experience overall! I will definitely recommend to my friends and associates and I will make every effort to continue doing business here. Please make sure the manager and staff see this. It has been my experience that negativity is always amplified and positivity goes unnoticed. It is important that, they continue this path of consistency to insure a successful team. The only thing I can see for process improvement is the operating system needs streamlining.

When I reserved a van, wasn't informed that I needed 2 emergency contacts to reserve. When checking out the van, I had to scramble to find two contacts who would answer their phones to confirm--need to know this in advance.

The young lady at the counter was friendly but not helpful. I was given the key and the location of the van, used the app went through the inspection with few minor damages which I had documented with pictures. But couldn't adjust mileage #. App shown 9300 miles but odometer showing 15532. Then I was given no answer for the difference. The app keep showing errors message. After 10 mins trying to figure out what happened. I was told just take the van now and figure it out later. When I return the van later that day . I was told she issued the wrong van to me. Second thing I do not like is the deception of advertising. Online shows 99 cents a mile but I ordered it. It changed to $1.59 a mile and at the uhaul wall showing combo price for Mats and dolly for $10, and were told that's the old price. Too busy to remove the advertisement boards

I am disappointed in the new method of returning vehicles. To charge customers extra to return after hours is unfair. I returned the vehicle but had issues returning with my cellphone after hours. Also I never received a call beforehand to confirm pickup time for the past two rentals. If Uhaul is implementing new procedures they should work.
