Website added a bunch of stuff to my order that I didn’t want. Upon pick up and inspection I told them I didn’t want all the furniture pads, but they told me I’d have to wait in line again to change my order. Website also gave me 4 hours of rental when I actually wanted a full day. When I got there desk man told me all vehicles are booked and I can’t have the full day. On the website i clicked on Van, but they gave me a 10’ truck. Doesn’t fit where I need to park Something’s leaking from under the truck, thought it’s gasoline but doesn’t have the smell. Your website is designed to trick people into order trucks for 4 hours and get extra dollies, furniture pads, and even movers. Fuck you all to hell

When we returned the truck the person asked if we wanted a receipt or am email. We opted for the email and didn’t receive one because they forgot to check the truck back in. I called everlasting times and no one was able to assist me the last person I talked to said she would call me back and never did. I finally went to the store and after they found the keys I waited a long time for the person to return. She never came back she had the gentleman hand me my receipt. I asked what happened and he said they were busy. That is no excuse. I’m sure there are notes in the system with more details. The name is Pellarin if you care enough to follow-up.

I had issue with the current trailer I rented , before even hooking it up I went back inside stared to U-Haul employee that trailer too big for truck to handle. She oblige n change the trailer . Would you update the paperwork and the price. 6x12 with ramp cost 34.95 plus tax . The Motor cycle trailer I picked up is only 14.95 plus tax. Once the receipt was emailed it was the price for 6x12 trailer with ramp. I contacted the 800 number which they disappoint me. I’ve been using U-Haul for many years . It’s an ethical for you to charge me the same price for 6x12 even though I checked out 4x7 motorcycle trailer . Still waiting for their response. U-Haul this not the way to do business. The customer service 800 should been able to resolve this over phone . This is unacceptable..I put my trust in U-Haul but u guys disappoint me... I hope this issue get resolve. There was another truck in front of ours and the service people were hesitant to move it out of our way. We didn't want to wait or switch trucks, since we were supposed to have a quick check-out with the app, and that would take more time. They finally move it, and off we went. The app was outstanding, though!

1) location had no on site parking for customers making it very inconvenient to pick up rental vehicle for the day—and I will never use this location again 2) cargo vans are advertised as $19.95/per day but ended up costing appx $110–I would say that is false advertising 3) no one went over the features of the vehicle-poor customer service!! 4) when I picked up vehicle it only had 1/2 tank of gas, barely enough to cover my usage-then told I needed to return it at same level-again making it very inconvenient for a customer who did not want to stop at gas station at all..why not give customer option like rental car companies

I had issues with the after-hours return process at UHaul.com. It is required to submit a photo of the dashboard, but when I did so from my mobile device it was not accepted and I got the message "please submit a more recent photo," even though it had been taken seconds before. I had to use a different mobile device to complete the process, as there is no way to proceed without submitting a photo. Please either correct the issue that causes photos to be erroneously rejected, or provide a way to proceed without photos.

When I picked up the moving van on 5/20/19, I was treated rapidly and with courtesy. When I returned the van on 5/21/19, the female attendant was rude, very unfriendly and made me wait for quite some time. The male attendant was the one who finally helped me with my receipt.

Equipment was clean, but as I pointed out on returning the truck to a staff member, the wire that connects the gas cap to the fuel input area is broken, and the latch that locks the rear door in place is very difficult to close, unlike any other truck I have rented from U Haul in the past.

make sure you get the starting point correct. They had me leaving from Belmont to Paso Robles. Actually, I had to go back to Montara to pick up my load before going to Paso Robles. This caused me to nearly go over my allotted mileage.

I actually was supposed to pick up my truck from a different location. I rented the truck online about 2 weeks prior to my pick up date. Two days before I was set to pick up the truck they called to say unfortunately there was no trucks available in the area similar to the one that I rented. The only one would be 45 minutes away from the other location in the opposite direction that i needed to go. Between this and it being a rush hour morning traffic pickup it added about 1 hour 45 minutes to my pick up. I find this quite unnaceptable especially since I reserved the truck in advance. I would like a call from someone to discuss this.

The truck I rented had candy paper on the console, juice spilled stain by driver side panel, and needed vacuuming. Lady at the counter did not tell me that if U-haul fills the tank that there is a service charge for $30 dollars and I was charged for dolly and pad rental which I never asked for or used. I am disputing those charges, depending on the outcome, I will decide if I use u-haul in the future. I never had issues like this with budget rental.

The Belmont location is ideal for my rental needs. Kevin, Ahmed and the rest of the crew are all great. Very prompt and professional. I received bad news twofold today. First of all, I heard that Kevin will be moving to a new location. He’s a great guy and will be missed. I wish him the best in his new endeavor. Secondly, I heard that U-Haul has decided to eliminate the 26 footers from the Belmont location. I use them at least twice a week. For the level of moving I do with my business, these trucks are a must!!! please don’t take away these super haulers. I need them badly.

My reservation for a 730am pickup of a 20' truck was made several weeks in advance at the Woodside location. When I arrived to pick it up they informed me there was a mistake and the customer who had the truck would not be bringing it in I till 9am. When I came back at 930 the truck was still not available so I was sent to Belmont. I was put 3 hours behind schedule. So yes, Belmont was fine but my overall Uhaul experience was very poor.

On one visit, the elevator was not functioning, requiring approximately one hour to address. On another visit the loading dock was blocked for about one hour. Cost to me about $300 total.
