I was charged for two gallons driving 7 miles. I called in to ask about it. The person refused to listen to my request, when I ask if she understood what I said, refused to continue, refused to give the phone to her manager, or tell me her name. I had to drive back to the office to discuss the matter and even then the office member of that person did not offer any apology. She was the rudest person I have come across in that office. If I were uhaul management, I will definitely inquire about this person/incident.Mehdi H.

They send me a confirmation to pick up the 26' truck at hayward when we get there it said we dont have the reservation to them and they ask us to go to other branch in hayward where our reservation is they said. Spend another 20mins drive to get there. When we get there they said they only have the pick up drop off truck. Where in the first place i reserve the one way trip only and the guy name brian said in order to avail the one way reservation u need to reserve it a month ahead! If thats true then why they give me the confrimation number then? Too much hassle and end up we cannot get the truck and need to travel again to belmont to get the one that is for one way trip. Too much stress dealing with this guys! Since they give us hard time they give us additional 40miles free. I mean i appreciate it. But the stress and wasting our time going to 3 places is too much! Never again! When u book with this guys make sure there is a truck otherwise u end up stressing traveling to other branch and if u lucky u get it but what if not? And all is set up in ur place and ready to go. What if u hired someone to help u move then end up having too much delayðŸ˜”ANNALYN E.
The trailer I wanted was not available so I got the 5' trailer for the same price as the 6' trailer... that doesn't make sense that a larger trailer would be the same price as the smaller one. The trailer was very old had some broken pieces rubber stoppers falling off the door was worn out and didn't close easily. The trailer itself was beat up to the point where it didn't matter. Probably time to see that one and buy a new 6' trailer if I was the owner...STEVEN B.

Very well run operation; store staff were excellent, building was clean, truck very good condition, COVID protection excellent, app you develop for check in and vehicle were great - Manager and staff should be acknowledged for their overall degree of excellence - I was in the car rental industry for + 30 at a RVP level so it thought every was very good at this location - must have a good team leaderBRUCE C.

Stopped in to confirm vehicle availability. Received clear information and welcoming attitude. Returned for rental and was met with ready contract , ready vehicle and immediate checkout Return was equally well executed and when I needed a particular size of furniture wrap, supervisor said that it was received in inventory not yet on racks but retrieved it for me. I should complain that I returned the vehicle with gas refilled to same level as when I picked up and was then charged $18 for gas, but I was so satisfied I decided that even with that, I was more than pleased. When you have so little inventory of high demand trucks, I suggest you move some to the location where it is needed. I waited for over 3 hours for the truck I reserved well in advance, losing my unloading crew at my destination.Roca W.
The rental of a truck at this place was simple and easy. However I wanted to rent a dolly also which I went a week ago and asked them if i could reserve one. Her system was not letting her do it and she told me to just come back that day i pick up the truck and get a dolly then (she said because they have a lot, not to worry). Of course the day i came, they didn't have any dolly available. Also the guy that moves the trucks when are returned was VERY rude. I parked my car in a wrong way but my boyfriend was in the car. He came in saying that I parked wrong and that i should â€œTHINKâ€ better. I got upset he was so rude, he could have just asked me to move my car which my boyfriend moved but instead he has to come with a rude comment just ruining the day. Moving is already stressful and we customers dont need his rude behavior. But the guy helping with the reservation was nice.LUISA S.

the whole experience was poor and dishonest. I will be posting the documentation showing the dishonest activity. Rent van, to move one piece of furniture. Travel <25 miles, return the vehicle in and 1-hour time. I was charged for 5 gallon of gas and addition excess fee. The vehicle get better then5 miles per gallon. HORRIBLE customer service. Got hung up/yelled at for wanting to keep the truck extra even though it was within my 3 days. I own a business and will NEVER use this location or Uhaul ever again because of this HORRIBLE location. the key drop wasn't clearly marked when I returned the (dirty) vehicle a couple of days alter, and when I tried calling, the customer service rep was rude, as was the person in the store when I called a couple of days later.MELISSA C.
