I put on 2 miles and was charged 19 $+ to gas it up. How much did you charge the previous user for fuel? Pretty outrageous price compared to what I was quoted. Doors on truck wouldn't latch properly unless slammed shut.

Returning the trailer was beyond easy the staff was friendly and great to work with I was unhooked in about 5 minutes. I definitely recommend this U-Haul location.

The Uhaul i reserved never made it to Bismarck. It was left in Jamestown. I worked 5x12 hour shifts as a nurse in the days leading up to leaving. I had no time nor resources to go and retrieve it from Jamestown. I was not offered any compensation, instead I recieve a much smaller trailer. I now had to scramble and sell off all of my furniture since it would not fit in the smaller trailer. I am beyond upset with Uhual and will no longer use them.

I made reservations a week ago for Thursday Nov 18 pickup and it never showed up. It still wasn't there on Friday when I called. I went to get a smaller truck and we got there and the 26' truck had been there all along and they didn't know it. Very frustrating when you can't depend on it.

Late response but still fresh in my mind. The worker in Bismarck was trying to teach a colleague how to hook up a vehicle to be towed by using chains to hold the front wheels in place. He seemed to know what he was doing and was really patient with her. By the time we drove 100 miles we stopped to check on things and found both chains off. Only the weight of the vehicle being towed kept it from coming off. The person in Fargo told me that that was a disaster waiting to happen. We lucked out. As I watched the chains being applied initially, I was able to reattach them, Periodically, my wife, who was following me, would drive alongside to make sure the chains were still in place.

The man working the counter wouldn't give me his name. It was beyond off putting. The lack of customer service and guest interaction was appalling. He charged me a 25$ cleaning fee even though I swept out the back of the truck per the contract.

If the equipment is on your lot and not rented out to someone, why can't I rent it? (I verified with the cashier that it was available after I had already paid for my reservation) also not sure why I got a phantom charge for 7,50 $ on my account. I called the store to extend my rental so there shouldn't be a late fee

I was double-charged for a truck I only used for an hour and a half. I was not told at the time of pickup I had to close out a ticket when I took the truck back when I did call to get an explanation I was so rude to me. The only thing the guy told me at the time of pickup was that there was a key box on the garage door.. a truck that was supposed to be only 19,00 $ charged me 100 $. The guy at the customer service was so rude and ugly to me over the phone.

We had to wait 30 minutes to get our truck because someone had the keys to the truck in front of it. Could have cost us money. The check out online was difficult for my husband

I found out during the move that the trailer was to heavy for my jimmy after I was on my way to new house. I went a lot slower to finish my run and returned trailer the next morning. All was good and no issues. I learned a lesson as to how much Jimmy could haul. A good experience. No problem. Merci.

Truck broke down. Called u haul location and was told they were contacting road side assistance. Nobody showed up. When finally got to the store, I was told I do not have a bill to be paid, after what I had already paid. I was told they would contact me about me getting my belongings that were still in the truck. I have not received any calls. I received a bill for almost 2 000 $. Never again will I rent a u haul.

I did my check in and check out online. It went well. Picking up my keys required going in to the counter and only one employee was working at 9am on a Friday. He was quite busy and I had to wait. Seemed to defeat the purpose of doing everything online. Not his fault.

I'd say make sure gas tank is all the way full before every customer because we had to put gas in it before even getting to use it and then putting more gas in it to get it to where it needed to be as well

Very easy pick up from this location. COVID-19 conscious staff so very little physical interaction. I would recommend not only this location but the on-line reservation system is wonderful.

Not charge them an extra 300 $after the agent that booked the truck made a mistake and clicked in town instead of a round trip of 500 miles!!!! Then when I try to call to resolve this issue I am totally ignored, no local locations will answer their phones, customer service literally hung up on me, and still I'm sitting here looking at the over 700 $charge in my bank account for one truck!!!! Thieves!

Showed lonnie my reservation. He rang it up and had me sign the agreement but he added the 8 insurance fee. This happened the time before. Not happy with the upsale tactic. Poor business deal. My reservation copy shows i did not take the insurance . Caanot get through the customer service to correct the issue. Will just dispute it through my credit card.

Vehicle transport had a bad tire. It was noticed right away though and fixed promptly. I was charged 60 $for safe-tow even though I declined it on the pin pad. I tried to call, but your long wait times are unmanageable.

The back drivers side tire on car trailer was given to us with low air pressure. My husband noticed it before we left the lot. It was fixed.

Train your employees better. I asked how much weight I could haul in the 5x9 trailer I was renting and was told 200lbs because it was made in 1994. Actually rated for 1910lbs. I was also told I could return after hours. No mention of using app to drop off etc. I was charged 20 $for this omission. When I questioned it the next day I was told "its in your contract" its not.

Honestly the inventory system is really bad. Drive a3 hour round trip just to get the thing to my place, then I get to rush to pack it up and drive some some more, so basically the whole weekend is the worst, and it was missing a windshield wiper when I got it.

I didn't get the truck when I wanted it, but the coordinator I spoke to figure out a alternative plan and upgraded me to the 26' truck. It worked out and I'm happy with the level of service.

This time there was poor communication regarding drop off and when I called to ask about the after hours charge, the “manager” talked over me and told me that the person that helped me always mentions the 20 $after hours charge, but neither my sister nor I ever heard him mention that when I asked him about after hours drop off. This was the most terrible service I have ever gotten at UHaul.

Traveling 3 hours to pick up a trailer when you were supposed to pick it up in the same town you lived was very inconvenient. Also please be sure that appliance dollies utility dollies and moving blankets that were ordered on the contract are in the truck before it gets picked up

First I was canceled on for my ubox's twice the day before they were to arrive. Then when I got my uhaul I was told to call and talk to a staff member at the storage location. I called and talked to a guy saying I will need storage in two days I'm driving up from idaho and I was told to call by uhaul to make sure there will be space the guy I talk to chuckled and said they will have space. I got to the storage and said I was told you guys will have room for my stuff when called the guy said ok. I told him what I was driving and asked what I would need he said he will only have 2 large units which will only fit my first truck. I then said well what can be done about the second truck. He then said I don't know what it will fit in I only have the small units left. I ask how many I will need to fit my truck load in. He said I don't know. I was like so you don't know what your storage units hold. He said yes but I don't know what you are needing storage so I can not say if it will fit. And then said I do not like your attitude. At this point I was still calm just talking harshly because the agent was not even making an effort to help me. But after he don't want to assist and didn't want to listen to misidentified or my frustrating experience. I then said oh OK let me tell you why I'm frustrated explained the canceled ubox and then the call that I made earlier. He then said but did you make a reservation. I'm like I did not say the word reservation but I spoke to someone saying want I need and when and when I got off the phone I thought it was taking care of. I then asked again what I need for my to trucks at this point he says I will not service you you need to leave. I was like really you have not done anything have not answered any of my questions and are completely un willing to help me I asked for the manager that was not there he gave me a card and told me to call the manager. I asked to use a phone to so since there was one right there oh and the. He finally did something and called the manager on his phone. Which the manager was not going to be in until 2pm I was frustrated at this time. And still continue to ask what I would need he still said I do not know what your hauling so I can not help you. At this point I had verbally ask if he is going to ask what I'm hauling so I can get help. He then said I don't know what you want from me. Really I only have been asking the whole time. So I said slowly are you going to ask me what I'm uhauling so you can help and actually help me. He then after the long time ever just trying to get some assistance said I will give you the 2 box to start with and then you can come back and order more if need be ..... so I said thank you that is all I want this whole time is some help and some effort on you part and this whole issue could have been resolved.
