Gas tank was not full when I picked up the vehicle, and was charged to fill the tank. Just curious if it got filled or left for next customer so they could be charged again.Mark B.
I rented a trailer for 24 hrs and returned it 2 hrs before the time limit. Received a receipt the next morning charging me additional $60 penalizing me for not having the trailer returned until the next morning. I called when I got the receipt, could not talk to the local location, was on hold for 20 minutes was told someone from local site would call. They did not. Called second time, on hold again, was told that they would enter my call as a dispute and someone would call w/i 3 days. Did get a phone call the following am apologizing and saying the overcharge would be refunded. Being able to call the local site directly would have made this process much simpler and avoided the on hold time.JAMES P.
The truck was not clean one bit. Very unhappy with it. This day in age with COVID-19 I would have expected it to be much cleaner. The guy working that day really didn't seem to even want to be there and wasn't friendly. If there is something I can say about Uhaul is that most people that work at almost every location I've been to are extremely grumpy and unfriendly people and seem very unhappy. The reason we have used Uhaul is honestly the price. If we move again however I would do the pods instead.JEREMY Z.

I don't have any issue with the Bismarck location. The truck wasn't available in Bismarck, North Dakota. In fact, the truck wasn't in North Dakota at all. It was four hours round trip away from us in South Dakota. That required us to drive there (at our expense) and drive the truck back (also at our expense). The compensation we received? A free day and 120 miles. But that is NOT compensating us for the extra work and expense. That's just opting to not charge us for it. Compensation would be covering the time required to drive there and back. Compensation would cover the miles put on our vehicle. Compensation would cover the fuel costs associated with the truck relocation. These are all things that we would be expected to pay when using YOUR vehicle, but isn't covered when we use OUR vehicle to relocate YOUR vehicle. I understand the problem of one-way trip logistics, but the short notice and the general â€œDo you want the fucking truck or notâ€ attitude we received when asking about some way to discount the rental cost to offset the abnormal and additional work on our part has left a bad taste in our mouth regarding this experience. Additionally, the truck was dirty. I'm talking used-q-tips and-gummy-bears-mixed-with-an-eigth-inch-of-dirt dirty in the cargo area. Additionally, the cab was covered in mud, not just on the floors but in the seats as well. The windshield had dirty rain water spots, so I ran the spray and the wipers only to learn the spots were on the INSIDE. Seriously y'all, what the absolute fuck?NICHOLAS C.
I had scheduled a pick up for 7pm. When I arrived at 6:55 the doors were locked. I called the Bismarck site number and no one would answer so I called customer service. The lady I spoke with was wonderful. She had me hold while she tried to get ahold of the man who was supposed to be working. Close to 7:15 a man finally came to the door to let me in. I heard him tell the lady I was on hold with that he was in the bathroom. He did not apologize to me, was very inconsiderate. After paying he had me drive over to the U-Haul I rented and it was 10 minutes before he came out to approve me leaving. I didn't leave there until 7:30. I still don't understand why he had locked the doors when they are open until 8pm. He could have put a note up saying he would be back at a certain time. Also he should have apologized and made an effort to make up for the time I waited.COREY T.
I was charged an over fee of 8.00 usd, I walked in for purchase 14.95 24 hrs. I could of reserved it it on my own but phone but was in vehicle and was a nightmare come true guy first said his internet was down like I could understand at times but for a company this size never. The sales guy I can say that or the guy that didn't want to be there once again horrible experience maybe you'll get it better. Not uhauls fault people don't like ther jobs there. Or maybe that's what uhaul wants.Ray S.
